Friendly, helpful staff. Good value. Reasonably clean and well-kept. Great location mid-way between the two town centres - approximately twenty minutes walk to each. We'd definitely stay again.

It's important to remember that this is a budget motel. You will definitely see parts of the property that are aging and fraying a bit at the edges. As long as you just need a safe, well-located, and reasonably clean and well kept place for a couple of days, you'll be fine. If you want anything remotely luxurious, then you'd best pay more for one of the other higher-end properties in town. A recommendation I'd have for the hotel is to switch to all white towels for the bathroom. White accentuates cleanliness. This is not to say that the dark blue towels currently in use are not clean - they very likely are. But white proves the cleanliness to the guest in that a towel or wash-cloth with an unremovable stain will be removed from circulation.

Simple little motel. Adequate for a couple of nights stay. Located in town. Nice owners.

The Venetian blinds were permanently in the down position and could not be raised. Hence the room was darker than it needed to be during the day. Perhaps a system that could be raised and lower, depending on occupant prefernce could be used.

Cute motel property with a fenced garden and SUPER quiet rooms. You can hear traffic outside like white noise which like and there is zero sound from other renters inside the room. Slept like a baby😊. Wonderful water pressure in shower! All the basic amenities and good wifi. Also I should mention the owners are a super delightful & kind couple which I so appreciate-very supportive👍✨

This is the best place to stay. It's clean and has everything needed. I've stayed here many times and every time it's the same great super friendly service. :-)

I had no problems. If I ever did, I'm sure management would have corrected it. All the guests I see here are happy too.

The man (owner I believe) who checked us in was excellent! He was friendly, efficient, and very accommodating. He made a special exception for us which we are extremely grateful for. Thank you!

Very friendly staff, rooms are everything you need them to be for the price, centrally located. I signed up for a cheap, dumpy motel and under that criteria it was perfect.

It's pretty barebones, you get what you pay for. It's an old, run down building, the rooms are kind of dark, the area it's in is a little sketchy. I did not mind any of this, though.

I love the affordable rate, central location and family friendly atmosphere. Your trip will be an enjoyable one staying here. Do your research and don’t be deceived by the neighbourhood. Your in the middle of it all staying here. Wonderful beaches & restaurants close by. My room had a nice little kitchen, bathroom and comfortable, clean bed to sleep in. I will miss this place and I am looking forward to coming back. *****

The Bluebird is an old motel pretty much in the center of Port Albernie. It is well maintained and up to date. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort for the price. Thanks Randy Visco, Sooke, BC
