The location was great, well-served by a bus service from the city very close, and a pleasant place to be. Lisa and her family were friendly, engaging people (she especially) and the room was comfortable and big enough. The breakfast was all round the same big table, which was great, and the other people staying there, from various parts of the world, were really interesting and chatty, and the culture of the place was great. Pleasant garden, too, though I didn't visit it during my stay.

The electrics in my room were a bit limited, so I didn't manage to link up the TV in the first room I occupied, but it all worked in the second room. Otherwise, everything was great.

Lisa was AMAZING, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, had local currency, and were informed about places to explore. My son played in the backyard and we enjoyed a very nice neighborhood park we could walk to. The neighborhood is safe and so cute. We even walked to dinner one night! We loved our stay here. Even the cat was welcoming! The breakfast was the best part - each morning we dined with very interesting, friendly, and adventurous people which was such a unique experience! Although the accommodations are on the basic side and they are very different than a typical Airbnb or hotel, the Sunshine House is a magical place with its hospitality, reliability, and pure sunshine! Thank you for an amazing stay and experience!

Bed was comfy, place was clean, shower was hot, lots of easy parking, close to ubc and downtown, and quiet neighborhood.

There is a sheet that is in the room. I wished it would have said: when you are checking out/leaving for good. To leave, lock the door behind you. Then slide the keys they gave you thru the mail slot. I had to figure out this on my own. Do to I was up and left before anyone. And came back when everyone was asleep.

Lisa the owner was very helpful and thoughtful. Breakfast was included and coffee maker available downstairs. Kettle in the bedroom. Comfortable bed, pillows, plenty of towels. Lovely coffee shop, Butlers just around the corner and.a gourmet supermarket with very nice freshly prepared salads, quiches. Bus to city close by. Good value for money.

Its a comfortable place that could do with a bit of refurbishment.

It was just beside a bus stop that took you straight into the city. The owner was lovely and very friendly and helpful. It was in a quiet neighbourhood and felt safe. Breakfast every morning was lovely.

It could be a little cleaner in the common room area and the room we were in could use a little maintenance but we had no other issues.

Lisa is a great host, providing tips and making breakfast. Moreover, the general neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Mostly we only noticed other guests at breakfast as we were out in Vancouver during the day. Shared bathroom worked out better than expected.

The small room was missing built-in air-conditioning and walls are rather thin as we heard the neighbouring fast snoring. Well, ear plugs took care of the latter.

The house was in a beautiful area of Vancouver, very private and safe. Host was very approachable, caring and accommodating, nothing was a problem for her. There was a huge range of breakfast options, rooms were clean and you had the option of getting laundry done as well. There were a few cafes nearby and the buses were close by to get downtown. Very pleasant stay.

Everything was ok, nothing we didn't like

Lisa was excellent and very accomodating. Everything was very clean. Tea was provided in the bedroom and coffee in the dining room, for use 24/7.

Bed was too high and too close to the wall We couldn't get into the bed from the side - we had to crawl in from the bottom. Also, the bathroom was not en-suite; you had to leave the bedroom and go down s hallway.

Perfect place for us to stay while we explored Vancouver. Our room was huge, clean and the host was really friendly and helpful. Quiet and safe location with a bus stop across the road to take you straight in to Vancouver City and back. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Vancouver!

Nothing - everything was great!

Nice to be in A house. Host very helpful. Good breakfast. Interesting house. Convenient location. Huge bed. Nice shower and bathroom . Very good WiFi . Good value considering Vancouver prices. Host allowed us to leave our bags there so we could have a day without them and collect on way to airport. Excellent
