The house is very modern & clean with a nice bathroom & a walk-in closet. & the host couple are super nice. The instructions to get into the house & the room are texted to you before your arrival & super easy to follow. & the kitchen is nicely stacked with a coffee machine & tea bags & has separate cooking room with door. In this separate room is the cooktop & sink & another refrigerator. I cooked a ramen noodle in the cooking room. & there is this super beautiful cat you cannot have allergy. We both have cat allergy. But this cat is allergy free cat & so beautiful.. 😍

It’s not something I didn’t like it, but like to mention this. We stayed on the second floor with windows to the roadside & there were noises as the cars passing by during night, which is normal for the big city like Vancouver, BC. & it was a rainy night, so sure the noise was amplified. 😆 & We live in a very quiet rural area on an island with 5 acre lot & very little traffic. So we are not used to have cars passing by at night. & I was thankful living on an island.

Great location, comfortable room, loved the private bathroom facility. Host was very accommodating, allowing for a very late check in, after 11 pm.

The listing mentioned that my room was on the main floor, which appealed to me because I had heavy luggage with me. The room was in fact on the second floor, which made it difficult. I also missed having coffee available in my room. Instead, I had to go downstairs for coffee, not a huge deal, but the listing is not accurate. This is more of an app-related issue, but I had a VERY hard time finding the instructions/ door code, etc. in my booking. It is a good thing I have a good memory for codes, because I could only find it once, even though I needed the info a few times during my stay.

The location was great, a 10-min walk from SkyTrain with bus lines very close in a quiet and safe neighborhood. A&W convenient for morning coffee before heading into my day's meetings. Shower was great with nice water pressure and soft clean towels, bed was cozy. Brief interaction with the host who was friendly and helpful!

The room is a guest room in a house -- might be a little spartan if you are vacationing or planning to spend a lot of time in your room, but as a business traveler who was not spending much time there, it was perfect place to sleep with great wi-fi connection and easy parking/transit connections.

When my friends brought me to the address, they said that it was a very nice and very safe part of Vancouver. As a senior solo traveler, safety was my priority. The house was spacious and beautiful and clean. My room was cozy and just right. Shared bathroom?... No problem there...the bathrooms were well supplied and clean. We could use the kitchen and dining rooms which was convenient. I had a very comfortable stay and it was truly a home away from home. Also, I liked that it was walkable to/from the Langara station. The walk was a pleasant one on wide sidewalks and pretty gardens everywhere.

I hoped my bedroom had a mirror just to make it more convenient to dress up.

Amazing stay beautiful and in the downstairs suit there a livomg room with tv and streeming services on tc so many subscribcions and makes for great comfort as of home, full kitchen, and bedroom ....the couch turns into a bed find instructions on how to make the transformation above the fridge in cubbord Also the pillows are amazing memory foam and regular plush cotton filled as well as 2 extra pillows in closet if you want more than 4 on bed already or want another option, so you will definitely get a great sleep with the options of pillows and amazingly comfortable bed as well as couch

Wish there were robes or housecoats in suit as they were missing

I loved it - close to a lot of touristy things and a close drive to the downtown area

Some minor things I didn’t like was the bathroom was shared between the two rooms rented out in the basement - if someone was in there I had no access to go to the bathroom and if there are a few ppl staying and someone is in the shower you need to hold it until they are done. Another thing, there was no tv in the bedroom but there was one in the common area - I couldn’t get it to change to my subscription of streaming service so I just watched some stuff from my phone - it wasn’t ideal but hey I loved my room the decor the yard the shower the coffee maker I really would say 10 out of ten but I need to be a little harsh because of the shared bathroom maybe they can put in a new one just like a powder room and toilet and then the other one with the shower.

A very nice property in a safe area and within a reasonable ( not close) walk from a Train Station. The room was a little small but very nicely appointed and comfortable.

This property is obviously a Religious or religious themed retreat, not a simple 'cosy retreat' and this was not mentioned in the accommodation description. Not everyone will be comfortable with this , we were amongst those people. Though perfectly fine, had we known we would have booked elsewhere.

Great location with street parking available. Good security for property and room. Very quiet. Everything we needed was provided.

I personally would like a top sheet as well as a doona rather than just a doona. I spend all night removing the doona when hot then hunting for it because I’m cold. Having a top sheet gives you a bit of something over you when you get hot and stops you feeling cold again. I feel some better more thorough scrubbing of the shower grouting is needed. Everything else is excellent 👌

Awesome location. My kid has to go for the surgery at Children hospital. This location was super close and the traffic wasn't bad. The place was nice, quiet and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Everything was great and we will stay here again without hesitation.

We chose to pay more for the option for hot tub. There is no hot tub but my hubby thought it meant for the jacuzzi tub in our room. Sadly, it doesn't work as well. The host doesn't really speak English. When we asked about the tub, we were told that it doesn't work. Other than this, we are really happy for this place and will stay here again.

The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfy. It was about 30 to 45 minutes away, by car, from the downtown area. Very quiet, residential area until about 7 a.m.

Unfortunately, the tub was very high, so it's difficult for a senior to get into it. Also, the rooms with an en suite bathroom are on the second floor of the house and there's no elevator/escalator obviously because it's a private residence. It's a lovely place for younger, more agile people. My mistake for not asking about stairs and tub. Lesson learned.
