Comfortable bed, lovely balcony and water view, very good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, very clean

Chairs in Dorset room were very hard and uncomfortable for TV watching, but we spent most of our time outside on the balcony anyway!

The view, the neighbourhood, the atmosphere of the whole building, the history of the Manor, and the water pressure in the shower!

It is quite pricey….

We had a wonderful time. We loved everything, from the location to the room and staff. We wished we could have stayed longer.

The location was excellent, serene, clean, and majestic. My room was beautiful. The area is quiet. I loved the view of the sea. The entire team was friendly, helpful, and caring. Breakfast was amazing. The chef accommodated my dietary requests. I also appreciated the private parking on-site. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

All was good! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay at a great place, close to downtown and nature at the same time.

Dashwood Manor is incredible. The location is fantastic. The building has a wonderful historical charm, whilst also having everything you could need to be comfortable. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend Dashwood Manor.

What a gem. Incredibly charming house from the Victorian era, with Victorian furniture. Feels like being in a Bronté novel. The sea view is precious , so is the walking path by the waterfront. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Lain we had a great stay. It’s a short walk from coffee shops and restaurants on cook street. Longer walk or short cab ride to downtown. Perfect place to stay and get some quiet relaxing time while still being close enough to everything really! And the cherry on top: they have two pet friendly rooms. Sthg you would not expect in such an antique but yea they do. Definitely coming back here.

My experience from the minute I booked until I handed in the keys was exceptional. I could not say enough about the friendliness of the two staff members I interacted with. I had several special requests that they accommodated without hesitation. The room exceeded my expectations and was such a treat from the typical hotel space. I wanted to give my sister in law who just lost her husband and flew in for a one day visit a wonderful Victoria experience and the room, location and overall experience was perfect. For me it was a wonderful “staycation”.

There is absolutely nothing about the total experience I didn’t like!
