We had a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn in Ottawa. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made check-in and the entire visit smooth and stress-free. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with cozy beds and fresh linens that made for a great night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight — fresh, tasty, and with plenty of variety to start the day right. The location is excellent as well, offering easy access to local attractions and restaurants while still being quiet and relaxing. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would gladly return the next time we’re in Ottawa.

I prefer to stay at this Comfort Inn (on Michael Street) because many of my meetings are within that local area and is a quick drive back and forth. I usually only have a coffee or toast but the selection is good when I have had breakfast.

My only issue is the deposit of $100 that get held on my credit card. I realize it doesn't get charged when checking out but I stay there frequently enough that it would be great if it were discontinued. I have proven that I don't create a mess or destroy my room while I'm there but I do understand this is a policy. Perhaps reducing it even?

Facility was cleaner than one would think. The hallways always smelled clean which is a plus. The breakfast was hot. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Bathroom was cleaner than most hotels. Room smelled clean and not musty or used like most motels. Bed was comfy and bedding was clean.

As with any hotel, they are too expensive. But received a good deal through booking dot com. We were second floor end of the hallway and there is no stairs on that end of the hotel. Definitely not good for guests that are bigger, elder, or asthmatic.

Rooms were basic but very comfortable. Fridge, microwave, snacks in the lobby, close to bike trails, shopping mall within walking distance. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast was adequate, with eggs and bacon. Especially liked the night light in the bathroom.

Extra charge (25CAD$) for pets after having to pay extra already for a 1st floor room which was required if you have a pet. Kinda like being charged twice for a pet???

I was out most of the time due to my work schedule but when I was in my room, I was comfortable. I would have preferred to have been on the west side of the hotel because large trucks were parked at the main entrance and they were starting up and warming up very early in the morning.

The WiFi connection was challenging to get on. I got on it the first day but could not get a secure site the following day.

Location was pretty good. The price was just right. Felt safe. Every room had been remodeled recently and very clean.

Breakfast area and spread was much too small for the amount of people. Shower design made it so there was no way not to get shot with cold water when you turned the shower on. Overall a good stay though!

Receptionist is friendly. Glad they called me before canceling my room. Check at was at 3 pm and didn’t arrive to the hotel until 11:30 pm. Receptionist is very accommodating.

I notice the washroom was not clean properly. Toilet sits and shower tab has few hair. I noticed the towel looks dirty.

This hotel was nice and quiet. the breakfast was very good and the room was updated and looked wonderful.The staff were very polite. We spend 4 days exploring Ottawa and the Byward Market is great to visit.The location of the hotel is also great.Close to everything.

The breakfast was OK, not much choice, the bed was comfortable,toilet and bathroom was very clean.All electrical goods worked.

The floor was very dirty,could have done with a wet mop over it. occupier in next room was coughing all night, which broke our sleep.

It was comfortable and budget friendly. The stay included a decent breakfast. There was on site parking.

It was down a dark lane that you couldn’t tell was the road to the hotel. Felt like a favourite truckers stop also, so there were loads of long lorries parked up in the front.
