Bed was comfy. Linens were excellent. Gal who cleaned our room did a good job-we asked for extra towels and she gave us some. Location of the room with the balcony was excellent. We enjoyed the size f the room and the two chairs and desk.

Could hear noise from the room next door-talking and their tv. It was somewhat annoying that there was no clear entrance to the property marked. We saw the Marriott sign but from the street it looked like it was a back entrance and just to the parking. So we drove around to the “front” of the building to look for the door but after stopping realized it was a locked door to Starbucks. So we walked around to the back and saw there was a door there. Bathroom was quite small and plain-thought it would be more upscale for the size and style/location and price of the room

The staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly, each and every time we interacted. Upon check-in we were provided a map of the city and were told of events happening that weekend. We had only a couple of questions throughout the stay, but were always treated with professionalism, honesty, and kindness. The location was unbeatable for exploring the city on foot, with the NAC, Canal, tours, and Busker's Fest all within just a few minutes walk. The room was clean, comfortable, and the views of the city were gorgeous. Overall a wonderful stay!

The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that we booked a corner room with the balcony, and while the balcony was amazing providing for incredible views at all times of the day, it would have been so much nicer to have had a couple of chairs provided out there so that we could more comfortably enjoy it. But I still brought a book out early in the morning and enjoyed the city waking up, I just did so by sitting on the ground lol.

It is in a winderful location. I stayed in an executive suit with balcony. Room was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, view was great.

The executive corner room was really spacious, with nice views. Good size swimming pool, good breakfast. We stayed for a week and some days were quiet and we could really enjoy everything that the hotel had to offer, the staff was really nice and attentive during the not very busy times. It was easy to walk to the parlament and Rideau canal to watch people skating. Parking has a lot of EV chargers

The parking -exit to queen st has a very abrupt ramp with a jump that will very easy damage a low suspension car, consider using the Lyon exit

I have to give 10 stars to one of your employees. His name is Eugene, and his assistance when we arrived was excellent, over and beyond and throughout our stay. When we arrived, I drove up the wrong way to the entrance. Taxises were coming in, and I had nowhere to go very frustrated. An employee, Eugene, came out to assist and got us turned around directions to hotel parking. When we got down to the parking garage, I was surprised to see Eugene was there with a cart for our luggage! He loaded our luggage, oh I need to mention that my friend had a broken foot in an air cast. Loaded our luggage, wheelchair, and crutches. When we got to our room, Eugene was already there and had our luggage, wheelchair and everything else in our room. It is hard to find that kind of dedication from an employee. My husband and I recently stayed at the Château Laurier, and the service there was not even close to the service we received at your hotel. Thanks again, Eugene. Your hotel has impressive game and arcade rooms, swimming pool, and workout facilities.

There were no ping pong balls in the game room or pucks for the air hockey table.

Very large room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff gave us warm welcome, providing us with map of Ottawa. Buffet breakfast was amazing with exceptional waiter Albert.

Only thing to improve was the outside space next to indoor pool. We had good weather and wanted to sit outside. The chairs need updating and area improved, but it didn't look like many people used this space.

I stayed in a room for 2 nights, on a business trip. The check-in was very easy (even though I was a bit late). I was informed about all facilities available within the Marriott Ottawa. The room was easy to find (there were 5-6 lifts on ground floor). On arrival, I found the room clean and tidy. The bathroom was clean as well. Linen and toiletries were provided and good standard. The TV was working (though I didn't get to use it). There is a small fridge in the room as well. All electricals were in working order. I also had the breakfast for two mornings- There was a buffet available though I could have requested any type of omelette. The selection of condiments and cereals etc was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did not use the (open) Wifi, the swimming pool and the gym though they were available for use if I wanted to. Finally, I ran into 2 problems while at the hotel (one due to noise on the floor from another room and other due to breakfast payment)- they were both resolved quickly and professionally. All in all, a great stay for me. Many thanks.

Location was really good, you can easily walk to see parliament hill, the national war memorial and the buildings around them. Staff was welcoming, helpful and polite.

For the price I expected more, parking price was decent, but the room just feels outdated, old tv, small keurig coffe machine, the water container needing to be refilled every 1 coffee. So overall it didn't hit the level of comfort I expected, when you spend 200+ a night for a room without breakfast included.

The response to my child’s birthday was delightful and well received. Very appreciated. This may seem odd, but the bedside lamps. Their reading lights turned night lights, making the lamp base glow, were surprisingly clever.

Just some small things. A little more water pressure would be nice, and a nightlight of some kind in the bathroom would be helpful. (Though I recognize that if it’s removable, it could easily be stolen.)

Super friendly staff especially Naveen at reception. We were able to check in early which was great. Large comfy beds and location wise right in the middle of everything. We were able to park our oversized car on the outside area - but we got lucky there was a spot left as it’s first come first serve. Our dog could stay with us without a problem. :)

The parking situation for oversized cars but I guess right in the heart of downtown it’s still great to get a spot at a decent price right in front of the hotel
