Great location The trams are literally stopped right outside the hotel going and coming and the trams run 24/7 Deli mart across the street open 24/7 A plethora of eating and coffee cafe (the subway does suck though just bread and dressing in a sub sandwhich ) Room was great the balcony is a interesting concept Comfy bed and the mini lights on the corner of each bedframe is useful for Instagram late night scrolling/gaming lol Location is near a park and a super good cafe called purple penguin 🐧. Best fresh honeycomb coffee I've had and I'm from ny that thing is chefs kiss. Worth it.

The price was a bit high,but it's Toronto, so that was expected. Parking is not good. The staff couldn't have been nicer,and helpful.They were all Fantastic! The bed and pillows were the best!

The parking, they have 8 spots, if you move your car,you can lose your spot. I was not ready for that. Public parking is available, but there are problems with that as well. The staff helped us through it. It's really nothing they can do ,it's just the space .

The location was excellent to reach the co-working space I had meetings in. Toronto is a big city with many restaurants and bars spread around. So depending on your preferences the location of a hotel can be good or not so passing. For me this hotel was in a good location with many good options outside. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bistro at the entrance level has delicious options. I loved my avocado toast. The room has all the amenities you may need and it's designed with comfort in focus. I enjoyed the style of the decoration as well. If you want to stay in the east side, just book this hotel without any hesitation. You'll love it.

Couldn't adjust the heating in the room. And the water bottle was always taken when cleaning the room, their water station in the hallway is great but when they take the bottle away, it becomes a bit difficult to stay hydrated :)

Boutique hotel with nice design. Spacious rooms with tasteful deco. I love the nice touch of having a vynil record player in each room. The rooftop bar is nice and has gorgeous views of sunset over the city. A good restaurant as well on ground floor.

Only a couple of little things. There was no menu in the rooms for the mini bar and snack station so it was unclear what is complimentary or not (perhaps this is on purpose?). Also there is a water station on 5th floor but would have been nice to have water already in the room on arrival.

Positives:: the room was decorated beautifully and was clean. Loved the record player and the French press . The lobby and cafe were beautiful.

Negative: Check out was noon. At about 12:15 the front desk texted me to ask if we were leaving— I responded “yes we are just now leaving.” We got down to the front desk around 12:30. She charged us $30 for being late by 30 min which seemed a bit rude. Also negative: we are vegan and there wasn’t really anything good for us to eat in the cafe downstairs. We just had coffee. Please increase vegan offerings

The flair of the hotel is a blast. The room was big, cozy, comfortable and each accessoire blended in perfectly. So many little thing from an own umbrella to the record player...everything just perfect. The dog park, the cable car right in front the door mad either even better. Rooftoprestaurant, bistro and bar...all in all...we'll be back

Some personnel the restaurant needs more training how to serve in a high class restaurant. An Entrè isn't meant to be served with the Main dish.

A great funky hotel in the heart of Lesliville. The rooftop restaurant was amazing, and the brunch downstairs was great. If you are staying in the east end it was a great location and was easy for us to access the area with the streetcar right outside the hotel.

It is an old building so it is to be expected that it is quite loud. You can hear the room next door to you. The room was a little dark as well, I think better lighting could be an easy fix to this. We stayed here because of the location was convenient for us, but I think there are hotels that the value you get for your money is higher, but that is not to say this Broadview wasn't great.

Excellent location. The immediate neighborhood is great to spend time in plus the area is well connected to the downtown and expressways. Public transit very accessible to the hotel. It is a very beautiful building and the 7th Floor terrace offers amazing views. The staff were very helpful for a variety of questions.

We found the lighting in the room a bit dull for task oriented activities. Since the hotel is at a busy corner some, who are not used to city noises, might find it a bit noisey overnight. Parking offerings at the hotel are limited.

This was a cool retro hotel which is pitched as a hotel in an area which is being more gentrified as the years go by. This is an excellent place if you're heading out to the Rebel Concert venue (We did and appreciated the 10 min Uber at 3:00am) . Its a 20 min Uber downtown depending on traffic. Staff were very helpful and awesome. Cool bars and restaurant in the hotel. If you like Best Westerns do not come here - you're not the type that would appreciate this hotel. Grabbed a parking spot for $30 at the rear of the hotel. Overall, its everything we expected and our room had plenty of amenities, clean, adequate shower and very very comfortable bed. Retro turntable and found Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac LPs in the room (or just bring your own for a retro feel). Could be noisy late night from private functions in the roof top bar but we are night owls and loved the vibe here. We are 60 and 50 year old empty nesters and loved the energy of the area and accessibility to downtown. We will definitely stay here again. Don't expect standard characterless hotel America here - this place has history and charm so embrace it.

Nothing - for the price it exceeds.

The location was good for my stay. Very nice hotel, decorated to a high standard. Housekeeping excellent as were reception staff. It was handy having the water dispenser available. I only ate in the bistro, it was a nice space with very attentive staff.

The hotel was described as having sound proofed rooms, they weren’t. That said, they were no better or worse for noise than any other hotel. It would have been nice to have a larger reception area or a separate lounge area to sit in but the rooms were so nice you could manage without.
