It is near center but the area is populated with homeless people around. While the poor fellows are not at all aggressive, this hotel is not the best choice if you travel with kids.

We booked here very last minute as we had been let down by our original booking. Arrived at 21:00, after a very stressful start to our trip to Toronto, Chris on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, and soon helped us to relax. We loved our corner room on the 3rd floor and the location of the hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff that we met were welcoming and friendly. It is within walking distance for what we wanted to do and with the metro nearby. If you stay here, take a drink upto the terrace and enjoy the evening views.

Couldn’t fault the hotel

Property is well designed and have good amenities and ambiance. Over all the staff were very accommodating. Overall Hotel is excellent !

Small glitch with the computer system ending up waiting for more than an hour for breakfast to be served, 1st day of the stay wait was about 1+ wait for Bf. 2nd day about 55mins but on our 3rd day which was a Monday it was within 15-20 mins, the system was working then. The roller blind in the rooms seems to somewhat working and not working at times. Major complain I would say was the stink in our washroom specially after the housekeeping staff would clean it, had to call the house keeping again. She said its the cleaning spray, but I suspect it the dirty mop which the lady was using.

New, large comfortable rooms that take advantage of the most up to date technology: switch by the bed turns off both bedside lamp and room lighting, and bed has a motion detector nite lite which turns on if you get out of bed at night. Wall to wall windows with both black out and filtered shades.

Neighborhood is up and coming. Never felt unsafe. Easy walk to tourists spots both north and south.

The hotel was beautiful, modern and clean.. My family loved the roof top terrace that overlooks Toronto city. Stunning especially in the evening lights.

Nothing much to complain about except that there should be a bar on the roof top terrace to avoid guests coming up and down to get drinks.

The staff were great. Helpful & friendly and responsive.

My first room really wasn’t comfortable and the moment I raised a concern to the staff they put found me a room that was better. Neighborhood is a bit sketch, it’s a sign of the times though.

The hotel appears to be new. Everything is clean and modern. With a nice bar/ cafe on the ground floor.

I was a little bit extra careful in the area as there were some homeless people around the street but we got on fine walking to and from the hotel in the evening.

The staff were very friendly. The property is immaculately clean and beautiful.

As a boutique hotel, the property was small and the location although central was right across the street from a Salvation Army and there was a homeless encampment very close.

Location, valet parking and they charged my car for me without asking, restaurant staff were great, rooms were nice, clean, modern. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.

Rooms were a bit small but not that different from the neighborhood

Great location. Very welcoming and helpful staff - from reception to room attendees. Very comfortable bedding. Great size bathroom.

Neighbors very noisy late at night. But has nothing to do with the property itself.
