My Mum and I had such a lovely stay at the Marriot Hotel. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and close to all major attractions. It is easy to catch the tram to Chinatown. The breakfast in the hotel was amazing- there was so much variety and everything was so fresh, we especially loved the omelette station, the coffee and the fresh pastries. There is a lovely pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop floor. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and obliging, thanks to Bill for his friendly words and greetings every morning at breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong. Everything met our expectations and made for a very pleasant holiday in Toronto.

Loved the location, the wonderful staff and accessibility to the Eaton Center by way of Trinity Square. Staff were so friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure you enjoyed everything.

Although our room was supposed to overlook the city, it didn’t but we were able to see the “TORONTO” sign in the park on an angle. If I could’ve changed anything at all it would’ve been the tub. We much prefer being able to step in and out of a shower than a tub. Outside of that, no complaints.

The staff were the most friendly and helpful. They were so wonderful. I loved that I had parking until 6 pm even though checkout was at noon. It meant I could finish sight seeing in the city without having to worry about what to do with my car. So convenient! Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is literally right beside the Eaton Centre so everything we could possibly need was right at our finger tips.

The room doors slammed with a huge resounding bang every time you entered or left the room. They need to put something on them to make them close slower and without slamming.

The check-in experience was very pleasant. I was offered water. Mr. Behroz, guest experience expert, chose a room to my liking, which made my stay pleasant. The room was spacious, with a city view, the king bed was comfy, bathroom was kept clean every day. Breakfast was rich with many varieties, offering an omelet station.

I would have liked amenities in the room like toothbrush, a pair of slippers. A bathrobe would have been fantastic. Tried their dinner. Options were limited and the food was not something special.

Great location within minutes walk to Eatons centre Central location was great We used the valet parking the the stars were amazing when we needed our car they were there within the time we got to the lobby I purchase the breakfast buffet for us and I was so surprised of everything that was available unlimited drinks and food and offered take out coffee was great

I didn't like the payment manner, because, we just could pay by credit card and it made us in trouble, until a gentleman helped us out. another thing that we didn't like was the separated payment for breakfast for children above 12 year/old that wondered us and we had to pay 75 dollar per night for them! we had booked breakfast included room for 4 people but it wasn't free for our children!

It's old building, but still clean. The furniture is a bit outdated and the arrangement made it difficult to open butterfly suitcases. Location is nice, about 1,5 km from the train station and bus station. And about 2 km from the luxury shopping area.

The price is expensive compare to the property quality.

The staff is very friendly, and the location is fantastic—right next to the Eaton Mall. The place is also very clean and comfortable, and the facilities are very good—we got a tea kettle, milk, and water delivered to our room from the hotel. I'd go there again.

Nothing really, except that I forgot my phone charger and two cables in the room but the staff told me they didn't find them after I left. I'm positive I left them there.

The location was perfect for business trips. Service was good and staff was very helpful. We had to travel to NYC and return back to Toronto in a few days, so they agreed to keep our luggage till we come back (with no extra costs). This was very much appreciated.

The hotel is largely outdated. It did not meet expectations knowing Marriott standards. Renovations are needed on both the rooms and the general areas.

It’s rare to encounter a team of professionals who consistently deliver exceptional service with such warmth and enthusiasm. The staff at Downtown Marriot CF Eaton Centre, truly make it a standout destination, and I look forward to returning to this remarkable establishment. Kudos to the entire team for setting a benchmark in hospitality. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

Overall, my time at the hotel was fantastic, but I believe a few adjustments to the breakfast menu would make it even more appealing to guests on extended stays. I hope the hotel management considers these suggestions to enhance the dining experience for future visitors.
