Great location and the staff were so helpful and responsive to any and all needs. The front desk staff ensured a fair price and a great room, and when we had difficulty with the air conditioning, they were extremely quick in responding.

Only issue we had was that there was a charity event out in front of the hotel the morning of check out, and the organizers of the event showed up very early and started playing loud music to pump up the crowd of supporters who were gathering to raise money. Not the hotel's fault at all, and the charity was for a great cause. It was just a bit of a surprise to be woken up by a house music version of Bon Jovi playing loudly and not knowing why LOL. If this is a future event and the hotel is aware it's happening, it would be good for them to mention it might be noisy in the morning just as a heads up.

Easy access to the water, easy parking, although the parking lot is small for larger vehicles. Enjoyed the high security with elevators that don’t work unless you have a room key. Highly recommended eating at the Loose Goose just around the corner. I’ve never seen wings with so much chicken on them. They have many specials throughout the week which makes it better. Breakfast was great for a hotel! Scrambled eggs, veggie egg bites (comparable to Starbucks), turkey sausage, bacon, pancakes, bagels, cereal, oatmeal.. the list goes on. Coffee was great too!!

The breakfast was perfectly served and a nice variety. I appreciated the notice re 'Traffic' for the breakfast service posted in the elevators...good info to know for planning my day. Staff were professioanl, warm and welcoming...very accomodating

I have nothing to say here! Maybe up your game re the coffee creamer in the room...powdered creamer is yucky! But every hotel does it!We stayed one night...it was relaxing, felt safe and secure. Several encounters with housekeeping staff were friendly and welcoming.

I loved the staff, Patricia , Upneet and the rest of the staff Oh!! can't forget Lemke. The kitchen staff was excellent very clean .Great breakfast options the parking was pretty good for us.

Wasn't happy with the room it was small and if you spend time in your room 5 days we had to sit in the bed, a sofa or love seat would have made them time spent in the room more comfortable and with no TV station to maybe watch a movie made it even more uncomfortable. also the baseball little league playing in the hall was very loud , screaming and banging against the walls at 10:30 pm was ridiculous and inconsiderate.

the parking situation is a bit of a mess

Fantastic location, wonderful view of the river, SUPER friendly, hard-working staff, terrific included breakfast with a lot of options that were kept fully stocked all morning, quiet, even with a travel softball team staying and lots of families with little kids, nice little touches like free cookies, 24 hour coffee, Tim Horton’s k-cups in the rooms, very comfortable beds with one firmer pillow and one softer pillow for each person. Nominal parking fee compared to other large cities.

Staff were extremely polite. Room was clean. Breakfast was quite good and well stocked. Additional parking in the parking garage was convenient and seemed safe.

Asked for late check-out, was told I would have it, then when check-out time came they suddenly said they couldn't do it and tried to get us to check out 3 hours earlier than we had planned based on their prior assurance that we would have late check-out. Was sorted out but it wasn't a great last memory of the place.

The staff was SO friendly. Every time we encountered one of them from the front desk to the room cleamers , everyone smiled and said hello. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was yummy!

The $20 parking fee wasn't great, and then there was also an extra charge on my credit card (very minimal, only $3), but I wasn't sure what it was for and also I didn't really notice it until we had left and were almost home.

The location was great, if you want to be just out of the hustle and bustle of Detroit. It's located right along the riverfront, and is great for a night or morning walk along the river or walk to a few nice pubs. Clean, comfortable spot.

Beware that if you don't get there early enough for onsite parking, you will park in a garage 1/2 block away for $10/night. It's safe and no big deal, unless you have mobility issues.

Everything was so perfect! My wife loved the room, the bed, the bathroom. She told me this was the richest breakfast he shad already had in Canada; this breakfast was inclusive better than the breakfast offered by an apartment hotel we stayed in Ottawa. The bed was so perfect to my back, the at conditioner so silent and efficient. The view is superb! All the associates so transparent and loyal.

The only thing you could do better is regarding number of available channels on TV. We found nothing interesting on TV. So this was frustrating. But this only one downside I leave it here just between me and you.
