My recent stay at Canada's Best Value Inn in PEI proved to be a convenient and budget-friendly option for exploring the island. What I liked: The location was fantastic, offering easy access to both downtown Charlottetown and other popular PEI attractions. I particularly appreciated the included hot breakfast each morning, which was a great way to start the day without extra cost. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and having a microwave and refrigerator was a huge plus for snacks and light meals. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant experience overall.

There is nothing odd to hightlight during my stay

This is a typical motel - the rooms were comfortable and clean and it was quiet. Hotels in Charlottetown seemed expensive so this was more of a budget option - out of the town a bit, but near a big shopping area with supermarkets and places to eat. It is easy to get to without going into the town and there is ample parking. It is near the Confederation Trail which is a good way to walk into town, but a big plus was the bus from the shops - Royalty Crossing - the No. 1 is a loop that goes back and forth to the town centre every 15 mins and is only CAD 2 each way. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient.

I liked that it was on the edge of Charlottetown and easy to go into downtown or explore other areas of the island. The breakfast in the morning was also a nice start to the day. Bed and linens were fairly comfy and the chairs out back were cute.

Our room felt very damp. One day, when we cam back from being out over 8 hours, even the carpet felt damp and we weren’t really sure how it had accumulated so much moisture. Really though, that was the only issue.

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also nice.

We stayed four nights. The hot buffet breakfast is nice, but was exactly the same each morning. My idea would be to alternate between sausages and some other breakfast meat, such as ham. And possibly alternate scrambled eggs with, say, boiled eggs, The orange juice was very watery. Also, the TV system was very confusing and when we finally got it somewhat figured out, the system would still arbitrarily return to the Home screen periodically.

Very kind and friendly staff! Truly the best value. I expected less for the price, and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the facilities and offerings. It wasn’t perfect, but a clean room with no smell, a comfortable bed, good shower, fridge and microwave, free breakfast and exceptionally friendly staff was everything I need. I would stay again and will totally recommend Canadas Best Value to friends.

Room needed another light.

Room and beds were very nice and comfortable, very clean, and quiet. Shopping centre was right behind the motel which was really handy. Staff were really friendly and happy to assist with anything we needed. rooms are all on the ground floor making it easy to access with luggage -no stairs. Breakfast was lovely each morning -yogurts, bagels, toast, fresh fruit, coffee, eggs, sausage, etc. Really easy parking right outside your room. Free wifi which worked great.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this hotel.

Love how spacious the suites are. Was so great for our family of 4 and loved having a kitchenette.

Our room was late being cleaned. We were tired after a 5 hour drive and wanted to be in our hotel room. We ended up waiting an hour past when they said check in time was. However it was very hot that day- so we understood- but guest should be given a heads up if their room will not be ready in time

The room could use a bit of maintenance, e.g.caulking in the bathroom and a new table in the main area. The TV remote didn't work well. However the beds were comfortable, the heat/AC worked well, the room was clean, it had a sink, microwave and dishes, and the breakfast exceeded expectations with locally made breads and some hot items. Given the price, an excellent overall value. Will return for sure.

Walking distance to multiple stores up town, there is a restaurant in the lobby, the room was large. It was extremely affordable since we just needed a place to sleep for the night. Complimentary water bottles were great. Drive up room. Very quiet, never heard any sounds from neighbouring rooms.

I was trying to serve myself breakfast and they started taking everything away while I was standing there so I didn’t end up with much breakfast. They had almond milk in the fridge(thank you for including other types of milk besides dairy) but they had the best before date blacked out. The room was spacious but it’s a tight squeeze to get between the bathroom and the second bed if you have mobility issues.

the staff were friendly and helpful. I needed milk for my moms coffee and they were so kind they gave me some milkers so I didn't have to go to the store. I was so happy. they went above and beyond. they made sure my senior mom had the perfect room, we had a lot of space and a kitchenette. they had a grab bar for the shower as well which I was so happy to see
