The best thing about the place were the people working at the reception! They were extremely kind and helpful. Especially Anibal was very good to talk to and super nice!

I was just looking for an affordable place to sleep for two nights, so the place was good for that purpose. If you plan to stay longer, you should know that the street is very busy and you will hear lots of traffic. The room is rather simple and everything looks a bit old, but it was clean for the most part. The location looks a bit sketchy at first, but it’s very close the centro with Plaza de Armas, President Palace, museums etc.

Hotel Origen is located in the center of Santiago, approximately 400 meters from the Santa Lucia Metro station and also with access to several bus lines in the city's transport system. I really liked the friendliness of the staff, always available to help. The room I stayed in was comfortable, with a refrigerator and microwave oven. The shower always had hot water. Next time I return to Santiago, I will be very pleased to return to Hotel Origen,

The only thing I didn't like about Santiago has nothing to do with the Hotel Origen. But, with the insecure situation in Downtown these days. I had my wallet stolen from a zippered pocket by a pickpocket on the Santa Lucia subway, meters from the hotel. Stay tuned! If you can, keep your valuables in places that make it difficult for pickpockets to act. There are many in the city.

Arturo great guy very helpful . The hotel is not like 4 star hotel. But is very comfortable . Practical . Good value for money and clean great experience . Definitely I would come back. It is not a luxury hotel. But perfect match clean hotel ,good shower good sleep good value for money.

The electric heating . But it is ok . Also could have a better pillow .

Lovely apartment, fully equipped. About 20 mins walk to Plaza de Armas . Receptionists are helpful.

Street cars’s noise. A group of people selling stalls talked, turned loud music through night right across street. Blanket not warm enough, had to put my cashmere scarf on then I forgot it inside blanket. Contacted the hotel and it had gone forever :(

Location was in walking distance to a few places, grocery near by and close to metro. The man running everything was helpful and kept everything clean.

The only thing I did not enjoy was the mattress on my bunk. I could feel the springs, but one night didn’t bother me and I don’t know if all the beds are the same.

Location is very near Santa Lucia metro station so very central. Lots of restaurants nearby and supermarkets. Very friendly staff. Good sized bed and room. Good internet.

Nice location (Lider Express supermarket nearby, Santa Lucia metro station - 5 min walk, etc.), very helpful amazing staff, plenty of space in the room

The room has some wear-out but it's definitely something you can live with considering all positive points it has

24 hour reception. Staff were friendly. It was clean and had a fridge.

Bathroom was small so the hand basin was outside of the bathroom. No hair dryer. No kettle.

I stayed only one night before my flight, location is great, everything is easily accessible, had kettle to boil water and 24h reception.

They are aware of the safety of the guests.Great location and staff. Staff was always responsive. Check in and check out was very easy.

Nothing to say. In my opinion everything was good so I recommend this hotel to everyone
