We stayed at the Quiral in Santiago for two nights. We arrived at 8am after a long overnight flight from the UK, but we were able to get in our room(which was already ready) straight away. All staff were so kind, warm and friendly and accomodate all our requests: they helped us print some bus tickets, helps us carry our bags and even provided a packed lunch (without us asking) when we left early in the morning to catch a flight. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, we were able to pick a time for it and found our table already set with loads of deliciousness: fresh yogurt in a glass calyx, a selection of cured meat and cheese, a selection of granola and fruit. We then had delicious scrambled eggs freshly cooked (much better than the ones I had in the UK), warm bread and unlimited coffee freshley brewed. The hotel is small but very quiet despite being on the road with a classic chilean decour. Our bed was so comfortable so we had the best sleep. The area is lovely, quiet and safe. The hotel was few minutes walk to a shop to buy essentials and 5-10minutes walk to the lively Barrio Italia with loads of options for food, ( both chilean and international). We were sad to leave!

Located in a quiet and leafy area of the city within easy walking distance of the centre and the lively Barrio Italia district. The staff were wonderfully kind and friendly. They put on a bountiful breakfast with great coffee too. The rooms were spacious with great air-con.

Nothing to mark it down for. It is an older property made into a hotel, rather than being purpose-built, so one has to set expectations in that context I.e. the bathrooms are good but not great, there isn’t a fitness area etc.

Honestly, I was a little taken aback when I arrived early in the morning after a long flight from the US. The property was surrounded by tall ornamental iron fences with a metal gate. However, once inside, it was quite nice wood floors, nice furnishing art on the walls. Susana was the best host. She took care of me very well during my stay. She was very attentive to my needs answered all my questions and made arrangements for transportation and other things

Upon checking in the room was quite cold, but they changed me to another one which was fine.

The service by Suzanna and Pamela was excellent! Suzanna made us feel welcomed and Pamela was very patient and attentive to us during breakfast. Breakfast service was the best I've experienced. Location is also pretty good, near to the central and san cristobal hill. Uber costs only around 4 usd to get there.

Really can't complain for the price, but the only gripe I have is that the bathroom is kinda small and squeezy. If other guests close their doors loudly you can hear it, but nothing ear plugs can't solve.

Very quaint, comfortable exceptionally friendly staff, who were very helpful. Great breakfast, so much more relaxing than big mainstream hotels. Quiet residential area, 10 mins walk from subway. 10 mins walk from a tremendous streets of shops, fantastic restaurants and bars. Safe to walk home afterwards.

Not everything is super up to date, but that is the charm. It is an individual hotel rather than a duplicate of one you find in every city.

Wonderful property, well run by sweet and caring people. Highly recommended, very personal style. Nice food and drinks. Lovely small garden terrace to sit outside.

Room sizes differ, we were offered a smaller room at first which was disappointing. After asking they moved us to a better room (with chairs to sit, about 50% bigger). Maybe better if they first give the larger room to persons.

Cute, cozy, clean and quiet hotel within walking distance to restaurants, metro and downtown. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the outdoor garden patio is lovely! The room and bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom was a bit dated and drains and pipes were not at their best.

The care and attention from staff really makes this pretty hotel stand out from others. We felt pampered! The bed was SO comfortable. The outdoor area is lovely for having afternoon tea, wine, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of many restaurants, parks and museums. A taxi is typically waiting for riders at the opposite corner from the hotel.

I would have preferred to have had a room upstairs but this was just a personal preference - the room we had was large and comfortable.

The staff were excellent, great location and hotel very clean.

I had arranged for an airport pick up and the hotel forgot to arrange - reception. The hotel needs a bit of minor maintenance (light fittings, light bulbs not changed, shower rose not properly working). The bedside glasses were not cleaned each day.

Plentiful and varied breakfast. Added on a boiled egg on request! Freshly served. Really friendly helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Especially Xavier!

Some menu items for light dinners not available. A little tired in places but added to the quirkiness and more than made up for by the staff !
