Staff are exceptional and the General Manager has built up a formidable team of talent for her hotel The kitchen dining staff are impressive and go beyond the normal gold standard.
There was no parking spots available and that should be a future upgrade - my rental was parked outside across the street under a dirt patch with local taxis - if it wasn’t for the fact that the staff were so nice - I would have moved to another hotel - I needed to park my rental car

EVERYTHING. The staff was so incredibly kind and accommodating. They made the entire experience wonderful. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and I was able to work very efficiently with the set up. The restaurant, Amira, is spectacular. Amazing location, close to shops, restaurants and tourist attraction. Definitely coming back.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staffs are very professional, and friendly. Room super clean, everything is great! I wish Marriott could be in every city I visit in Colombia. This is probably the best hotel you can experience. Well done Marriott Barranquilla! You deserved 6 stars!

Very clean inside. Beds are comfy.
The pillows provided absolutely no support for our heads. The windows of the room were very dirty. The views from the fifth floor we’re of a trash dump beside the property. The ground-level pool is partially shaded until 11 AM and again starting around 4 PM. The bartender was unfriendly and left piles of used cups and dishes in the middle of the service area on the bar.

I think it is a bit further from the city. you need a car and can’t walk to restaurants
