As we already stayed in Bogota in general several times, and specifically in this hotel before once, we knew what to expect. But this time was actually better, as previous time we were in one other suite that has smaller shower, but this one has noticeably bigger, also the table was bigger in this room, so for sure if we are in the city again we will pick it again. Every day when cleaning they also fill a big reusable 1.5L bottle with fresh drinkable water for free. There is fridge and microwave. Reception speaks fluent English, they always reply to booking message or email within hours or even faster. They are always friendly, all of them. We asked upfront to have hair dryer in the room all days and it was already waiting for us in the bathroom, as usually you can get it if you ask at the reception, but I believe is expected to return it after using it if no longer needed. Location is great as it gets, it is about 7 minute walk to shopping center Andino and Atlantis and Zona T, which will be your main restaurants and shops areas in El Chico. It is about 40-45min away from the airport with Uber and about 35-45min from Candelaria depending on traffic. Even being so close to more lively area as populated restaurant and shopping streets, it is basically quiet at night as it is just enough away from crowds and close enough to walk whenever needed. We already stayed in Bogota in around 6 or 7 different hotels, and this one is one of two favorite so far, is hard to compare them directly as they are in different areas and it just depends where we need or want to be.

There was a door in the room that leads to another room, of course it was locked but I suppose I personally like the wall, assuming you can book two rooms together as a family to have access directly. Already first time I did not like lightning and also this is still the same thing. At night, even with all lights on, it felt dark, I strongly believe that stronger bulbs are not just wanted but mandatory, at least one of them as you can turn them on with 2 or 3 switches anyway, to assure that people who want light get light. There were dishes for two people, but only one fork and one spoon, we wish everything would come in pair.

I stayed here about two weeks in suite 2s and the last night in 8s. Very convenient suites, suite 2s is even more spacious than the others.perfect location in the beautiful, safe, upscale and not so busy neighborhood Retiro with nice coffee bars close by. Walking distance to Zona Rosa. Very kind and helpful staff. Amazing shower, big shower head and high waterpressure.

The ventilation system in the hotel doesn’t work well. Every day from 6pm the unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen/restaurant where breakfast is prepared enters the rooms, not only on floor 2 but also on floor 8. The windows of the suites on level 2 are blocked. It’s good for the privacy but blocks the light. No smart-tv (no Netflix) Cleaning needs sometimes more attention. When a guest is staying for a longer period the bathroom/toilet should be cleaned more thoroughly and sheets should be changed more regularly.

First of all, I want to mention the incredible staff of the hotel. They‘re friendly and so helpful. If you have any question or need help with something, they go above and beyond to fix it for you. The location of the hotel is really good, in a safe neighborhood and close to Andino Shopping Mall. There are coffeeshops (Tropicalia, Masa, Maison Kayser) around the corner with a really nice atmosphere where you can work or enjoy the coffee culture of Colombia. And you have the best restaurants in whole Bogotá in walking distance. The breakfast is every day different and the ladies prepare you daily scrambled eggs, french toast, arepas and many other delicious dishes. On top, they‘re so incredible nice and you can have a chat with them and practice your spanish or just talk with them, they’re so lovely. Don’t miss to try the fresh homemade juices! The rooms are modern and clean, the bed is comfortable and big and it is really quiet during the night which is a big plus in a city like Bogotá. The water pressure in the shower is perfect and after a few seconds you have hot water. The cleaning service is as well really nice and the laundry service is fast and inexpensive. The whole hotel is made to feel yourself at home. I was traveling alone and the staff was caring a lot about my wellbeing. They offered me for example an umbrella when it was raining a bit outside. In these details you see the difference and for me, all the employees felt like family to me after a short time.

Nothing. The whole stay was amazing! I‘ll come back over and over again.

Location is great and you can walk to many nice little coffes and restaurants around. Lots of shopping possibilities nearby too. Very nice sheets. AC working very well, shower with lots of pressure. No iron or hairdryer in the room, but you can ask for one.

You do listen to noises in other bedrooms, so your sleep depends quite a lot on others guests. No gym unfortunately in the building. Rooms/double beds are smallish unless you have a suite.

Everything about the hotel staff and location were great. Small language barrier on MY part as unfortunately I know only an itsy bit of Spanish. The staff were wonderful in working with me to make sure that I understood everything.

I am sensitive to noise and unfortunately our room was on the 2nd floor facing a busy street that had vehicles basically all day and all night. If you can get a room much higher and off the street the place would be perfect.

Excellent, helpful staff. A big, quiet room (Executive Suite) in a quiet, swanky neighbourhood of Bogotá. Great shower, big comfy bed. There is a pleasant roof terrace to sit outside. Within a hundred metres there are three excellent coffee bars, at least one serves great food too (Tropicalia). Nearby, safe walking to other restaurants and a large shopping mall. Thirty minutes in an Uber to La Candaleria, scruffy but interesting. Go on a Bogotá Cycle Tours ride from there, excellent value and great fun. Breakfast at the hotel is very good too, included in the price

Nothing. Slightly expensive compared to the Colombian average but the hotel is in a lovely area of Bogotá.

Location is fantastic. It is located in a great area, very safe, and the street is one of the prettiest in Bogota. It has nearby restaurants, cafes and just a few blocks away from the bank, the Andino and Retiro malls. On top the hotel is great, room is comfortable and clean, hotel staff very kind and helpful. Think it offers the best value in the area. Highly recommend it.

Breakfast was outstanding, as was the kitchen staff. The rest of the staff of the hotel was also outstanding in their helpfulness and flexibility in taking care of any issue or need that we addressed, such as our very early morning arrival. Additionally, and perhaps most important to some travelers to Bogota, the hotel is not only located in a very safe part of the city but the hotel itself is a very safe venue to stay at. Great care for the safety of guests is taken by the friendly staff members. No one either enters or leaves the hotel without being buzzed in or out. My wife and I felt very safe staying at the hotel and in the neighborhood.

Only two items were relatively minor issues for us. The first issue was that even in normal speaking voices, we were able to clearly hear the guests in the adjoining room. Fortunately, the guests in the adjoining room were not loud. The second issue was with the lighting in the room being too low to read from anywhere other than from the bed when it is dark outside.

Nice and safe location in Bogota. Many restaurants within walking distance. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

Poor information regarding the "mini-bar" in the basement lounge. On check in, we were informed to "help ourselves" to the snacks and drinks which was misleading. The snacks and drinks were laid out with no price list in view. A visible price list would certainly tell us that we had to pay for the items - please do this to avoid confusion!

This hotel is super sweet and located in a great part of town. The room is modern and comfortable, the staff bends over backwards to make sure you are happy, and the location can't be beat. You are walkable from a bazillion great restaurants and all kinds of conveniences and night life. Strongly recommend!

The only thing that sucked was that the heat was really finnicky. It would constantly reset itself every couple of hours, so there was no way to keep the room heated at night. I told this to the staff and they sent a repairman to help me, but he couldn't fix it, so I was stuck with a cold room at night. Fortunately they gave me extra blankets to keep myself warm!
