The property is well located close to the port and to the bars. This helps to reach all the attraction points easily. The jacuzzi is a plus at the hotel rooftop where you can eat and drinks if you want to chill at the hotel.

The rooms facing the street can be sometimes too noisy but this is normal if you chose to stay in the city center.

Location, clean, good service

The hotel didn't have hot water, very noisy for the repairs they were doing. On several occasions, they left us without water.

Very well located, within the walled city and close to bars, restaurants, tourist attractions, markets and everything else you might need. Staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was well equipped. Shower was amazing and AC working perfectly (much needed considering the heat). We walked around even at night, and it felt safe.

It can be a bit noisy inside, depending on the other guests staying next to you. I'd say it also lacks a tiny bit of charm, but nothing that affects the stay.

A perfect location in easy reach of all historic attractions. A very relaxed comfortable hotel with a rooftop restaurant serving a variety of included breakfasts and a good choice of delicious food in the evening. Compliments to a great chef Jose. Marcella was extremely helpful and kind too. She made sure we had a packed breakfast to eat at the hotel or take away as we had an early morning flight.

The towels are not very absorbent and a more welcome decoration in the reception area would be nice - very bright and stark.

Recently renovated rooms with smart controls, tv and Alexa. Our room was quite roomy with a small kitchen and couch and a balcony. Very clean. Staff very polite (also when there was a water outage in the whole city they helped us out and kept us updated). Breakfast is quite nice and served in the terrace (or in the room). Fast WiFi. Very close to everything in the walled city.

Nothing really much but keep in the following: - bathroom door was not closing properly and sink was in the room - for breakfast you had to say what time you wanted it the night before which can be limiting - maybe a bit pricey but for Cartagena reasonable?!

We took a side trip to Rosario Islands and couldn't bring our large suitcase. Cartegena Royal Hotel held our bag for 2 days and it was waiting in our room when we checked in. Breakfast is preordered from their menu with many options and everything was tasty.

We heard car horns at 4 am, but it was their Independence Day celebration weekend and it's not the hotel's fault. I don't drink tea or coffee in the morning and they didn't include water as an option, but that was a very small thing.

The location of the hotel is very central in the old town and the port for the islands trips are in foot distance. I would say that the value is ok for Cartagena. The AC worked perfectly however you will have to leave the card in it, so the room is never cool when you come back to the room. The room was clean.

The furniture of the room is not high quality and the bed wasn’t the best, but ok for a couple of nights. There are only a few options for breakfast and you have to choose from a menu. Any changes to the menu requires an extra pay. The walls are thin, so as we stayed on the top floor, we could hear the roof top music and also everytime people walked up the stairs.

The hotel has a wonderful location, it is possible to reach all the main attractions walking. The breakfast is delicious, served in the bedroom. The staff is very nice, always ready to support. All bedrooms have Alexas and are comfortable.

The is no silence police in place. So every morning there was a lot of noisy since 06:30 a.m. people screaming, construction, Alexa’s playing songs. Someone used to knock to our day every day early in the morning too and we do not have a clue why it used to happen.

It Was clean and the room was new and smart, the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The location was good very central, but the exact street were very noisy and busy. Also the hotel start play music in the común areas too early in the morning like 7am. The breakfast finish to early 9:30am it could be at least until 10:30am. Other than that all good.

We loved our stay here in Cartagena. it was very hot in the city and it was so nice to come back to a nice cold room. Shower pressure was brilliant and the beds were super comfortable. The rooftop restaurant had AMAZING food and was probably the best taste out of everywhere we ate.

There was an ant problem in our room but disappeared on its own a couple of nights into our stay. Other then that everything was perfect.
