Pretty hotel, an oasis of calm on a very busy street. Great location. Small but comfortable room, always kept spotlessly clean by the exceptional housekeeping staff. Slightly silly plunge pool on the roof, but nice views. Excellent breakfast served by lovely ladies, thank you all. And thank you William on reception for always being so friendly and helpful. There are many more stylish places to stay in Cartagena. I suspect Casa La Fe once led the way but now seems a little tired.

Across from Plaza Fernandez and 15 minutes walk to the Clock Tower and other attractions in the historical city. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast consists of a plate of fruits and one of five choices on the menu. Love the water kettle in the room. Plenty of hot water for shower. Filtered water provided in the room which can be refilled on each floor. Comfortable beds, mattress maybe a bit hard for some people but suits me just fine. Pool on the 4th floor is an added touch.

There is no elevator and despite asking for a lower floor, I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor. The staff will carry your suitcases to the room but my feet get tired climbing stairs so many times a day.

I loved this place so much!! Dennis at the front desk was exceptional. All the staff were fabulous. The location was perfect! The pool was refreshing and the views from the pool deck were lovely. My room was so comfortable and clean! The entire property was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was tasty and the breakfast staff were so nice! The breakfast in the atrium, couldn’t be more soothing and peaceful. And the inclusion of unlimited refills filtered water was unspeakably wonderful. Nothing I hate more than plastic bottles.

The only downside was the wifi which kept cutting out.

Casa La Fe in perfectly situated in the heart of the old town. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. The AC worked well and there was always hot water. The reception staff were helpful and extremely welcoming. As was the kitchen staff, the servers and everyone who worked at the hotel. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. The cocktails on the roof top patio were also delicious. Gorgeous view from the rooftop patio and lovely refreshing pool. I could easily have spent another week at Casa La Fe.

We were in Casa la Fe for 4 days at the end of October and we can say it is nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the heart of historic Cartagena, its prime location means you'll never need transportation within the historic city center—everything you could want to see or explore is just a short, delightful stroll away. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, the service and hospitality were impeccable. Every member of the team—William, Dennis, Samuel, Arledys, Aris, Sebastian, and others—went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Always ready with a warm greeting and a smile, they made us feel genuinely welcome at every turn. Whether it was offering tailored recommendations, answering questions, assisting with luggage, or fulfilling any request, they delivered with kindness and efficiency. The ambiance of Casa la Fe is a harmonious blend of charm and tranquility. Immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, it offers a peaceful escape despite being in the lively city center. Inside, it’s remarkably quiet—you’re blissfully shielded from the bustling sounds of the streets. Breakfast was an absolute highlight: a delicious spread featuring rich coffee, freshly squeezed juices, seasonal fruits, and a selection of menu items to suit every palate. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to make you feel at home. If you're seeking a quaint yet sophisticated hotel with unparalleled service, Casa la Fe is your destination. We left with hearts full of gratitude and can’t wait to return.

The front staff as well as the restaurant and cleaning staff were fantastic. They were all very helpful and very kind, it was easily the best part of staying at this hotel - the wonderful folks that work there.

If you get a balcony room, the music from across the street at the square will play until midnight. The windows and doors are sealed well, however the music is loud and you will still hear it. It didn't bother me as much as it might bother other people. If that is an issue, as for an interior room where you will be much happier.

Absolutely fantastic little hotel right in center of historic Cartagena. Breakfasts were delicious and the crew were exceptional. Location great for sightseeing historic Cartagena with everything within a 10 minute walk. Especially enjoyed the rooftop swimming pool and bar which were a great alternative for the hotest hours of the day. Rooms were clean and well prepared. Room service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and return the next time I visited Cartagena.

Fabulous stay in Cartagena! The hotel is well located in the heart of the action, yet feels like an oasis of calm in the walled city. Excellent rooms, which were spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast on the terrace each morning with fresh fruit, pastries and freshly cooked hot options. The pool on the roof is excellent for hot afternoons. The staff were fantastic - special mention to Dina & Lili !

The biggest highlight was the staff. They treated us like family and made the entire trip great. From the moment we arrived William, at the from desk, went above and beyond to take care of us from recommendations for lunch to telling us all about Colombia. The hotel is beautiful. The internal patio with its water fountain and green wall is very peaceful. We stayed in a big room for three people and it was spacious and comfortable. The morning breakfast is phenomenal. They have a menu of 5+ dishes where you can choose from. Dina went above and beyond to make breakfast a wonderful experience. Her daily special juices made fresh from local fruits were fantastic. The rooftop bar and pool were beautiful. Aris made some great drinks for us and his company was a plus. The location is great. We walked everywhere and the hotel was always in the center. We highly recommend Casa La Fe.

Stairs. If you cannot climb 4 flights of stairs, you won’t make it to the rooftop.

Very pretty architecture and all of the employees were top notch. Our room was tight, but very well thought out—making good use of the space. The breakfast is not great, but Dina was a sweetheart and offered prompt service. The location is wonderful, and our room overlooked the plaza which was full of life. Fortunately, the windows to the balcony have three layers to block out sounds. We slept well. I highly recommend Mistura Cartagena just a few doors down for a nice meal and live music. Also: have your shield up because the street vendors are aggressive.
