The room was beautiful with the private balcony and you literally step out into the center of town. Air con was definitely needed! And the room even came with a fridge ☺️ be aware the double rooms with balconies are street facing so there’s noise all night long!

The fridge was incredibly loud at times and the cleaner tried to tell the reception staff that I’d drank beers from it in order to charge me more, this felt a little disappointing as my stay was really lovely. Luckily I speak Spanish and I was able to explain that I don’t even drink alcohol!

Everything... great staff... great room (I loved the balcony)... air conditioning was sufficient for my needs... fantastic location... staff remember your name... there is a cat that lives in the property named Augustina -- I found her adorable... everything here was fantastic -- an entire week without a single concern, frustration, or dissatisfaction... 24 hour express market right across the street... plenty of restaurants nearby -- centrally located in historic center / walled city... if you want to be in a lively vibrant part of the historic center, this is the place for you... if you want to be completely insulated from daily life get a resort or consider a different city for your holiday. Thank You Hotel Casa Agustina

The staff was absolutely awesome. Special thanks to Junior for arranging airport drive for us, and for being always very reactive on all of our requests.

The location of this hotel is in the city center. It's very convenient to do everything by foot but it is extremely noisy. As a light sleeper, I was unable to sleep without my earpods and white noise playing. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel that is open 24/7. People in the neighborhood also show no respect at all for hotel residents: taxi drivers hunking in the middle of the night. We also were disappointed by the quality of the breakfast. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. It's an affordable hotel to stay in the city center and the staff makes all the other things dissappear. Just be aware of the street noise, to avoid if you are a light sleeper.

Perfect location with a mini market across the street, a pastry shop and coffee shop on the corner. Right in the middle of all the action and within 3 blocks of the Marina. The hotel itself is clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are so helpful and kind. The beds are very firm which I’m not a fan of but everything else was perfect so it made up for it. Would definitely recommend staying here and I’ll definitely be staying again my next time in Cartagena.

Very welcoming guesthouse particularly for my late night flight. One of the few who even answered if a late night check in was guaranteed. Very central. Very clean. Very friendly staff.

While they do pre warn you about the single room not having a window, it’s hard to appreciate until you arrive. You are paying for location, not comfort. Filtered water would be nice versus forcing more disposable water bottle purchases.

I loved the location, the room was clean and spacious. Staff were super nice and helpful and I was super obsessed with their hotel cat Agustina.

The only thing that I was struggling with and didn’t like was that the bedroom had door to balcony that were not soundproofed therefore my sleep was nonexistent as the people outside kept yelling and cars honking until 4 am. If this wasn’t issue then the stay would be perfect!

Great location, very nice and supportive staff, room had a decent size (we had the one with a balcony, which was great to sit outside). It feels very safe, reception is open 24/7 and the door to the street is always locked. It can get a bit noisy but ear plugs help. Coffee is available all day for free, breakfast is served a la carte in a cafe 2 minutes away from the hotel. A small supermarket is right across the street. Overall this seems to be the most central area of the old town. We loved to be in the middle of everything, but still felt safe walking home when it was already dark

The bathroom and especially the shower was tiny- but everything else was positive, we would definitely come back here

What you see is what you get. A safe and good no-thrills hotel at reasonable price in the very center of Cartagena that is efficiently run by a reliable and effective management, That is very helpful for e. g. day taxi booking to Mompos. Rooms are basic but with excellent hard beds. Very well located in the city centre with nice upper floor terraces. Can be noisy in the evenings nights, but a good set of earplugs helps you though the night.

The included breakfast is served a few houses further around the block, and it is limited in quantity and quality. Can take long before being served.

1. Ideally situated within the historic walled city. 2. The front desk staff were very friendly, though their English was somewhat limited.

1. The rooms, particularly the bathrooms, are quite compact. Maneuvering within the bathroom space might feel somewhat confined. 2. A heads-up: dining at restaurants in the surrounding area can be quite expensive, potentially among the priciest you'll encounter in Colombia. Be prepared for higher-than-average prices.

The property is essentially located and easy to walk to many restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and they did a great job cleaning the room quickly.

Be aware that if you’re staying in some of the back rooms, you are definitely going to hear the music from the bars. I did not have a hard time, falling asleep, but some other other people might. The free breakfast would be even better if it was provided inside the hotel instead of outside vendors.
