the key is price combined with a convenient location, and a decent size of the room. the property is really aged, but not very dirty. not very clean either. Its okay for a couple of nights. Its a quick walk to Getsiamani and the Walled city and all other surrounding areas of interest. Its not a very touristy spot, but its right in the middle of a happening area. Mostly local residents are seen in the night, but does not feel unsafe. Touristy eateries are at walkable distance, other shops like grocery, pharmacy etc are very close. Staff are very pleasing and always willing to help you with any queries. Breakfast for 13cop was a good thing to have.

The night staff (femle) needs to learn to be polite to guests. I PAID to be there. Did not appreciate her making me or my friend feel uncomfortable as she did! The beds are very firm

I came late at night and tired, there was an issue with the passport at registration and the person came to my room very, very late at night because it needed to register again. That was the only thing that bothered me

We liked the location, facilities, the breakfast, and the security and restaurant staff.

We didn't like the bathroom because it didn't have the stuff to put the personal cleaning things. We arrived at the hotel before 3:00 pm thst it the hour of check in, and we talked with the receptionist that we will come later and after 4:30 pm we came to the hotel and the room wasn't ready, at this time the receptionist was checking if the room was cleaned .

The staff was exceptional. They were attentive and helped with everything. At the restaurant the staff would watch my toddler at the table while I grab us breakfast and if you have kids you know what a big help that is .

I didn't like that they don't have dinner included but other than that it was fine

The front desk staff and security attendance were AMAZING- Diduvier + others were very helpful and responsive to my concerns !!!! Lunch is a must have especially the stewed lamb and coconut rice and the passion juice (yellow) haha Central location which is close to night life..

They gave me a room with sea view on 8th floor which was very nice and comfortable. Room was spacious. The buffet breakfast was good and had nice service

This is an old and a bit rundown large hotel. I had somehow expected this in a tropical city. Not a luxury hotel.

Nice location, within walking distance to all historic sites and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was airconditioned, which is essential for this climate. Bed was old style hard one, which I actually like.

I wish there could be some electric kettle in the room, to make coffee/tea, and bottled water.

I stayed here for only one night, but it was a great experience. Obviously the hotel has an old charme, but it is kept in working condition and the mattress in my room was new, so it was super comfortable to sleep. Additionally the hotel stuff is really friendly and helpful, they sell drinks on the reception for cheap prices and the WiFi works great, as well as the air condition. Beside that in a very central place, with an affordable laundry beside to it. Breakfast was for 12.000COP the best I yet had in Colombia. Different fruits, toast, ham, eggs, sausages, cereals, coffee, chocolate.... For the price of 130.000COP including breakfast, it is a no-brainer for me, just do it!
