Staff was welcoming. Called you by your first name throughout your stay. Food was amazing. Spa services were excellent. Room very comfortable, beautifully appointed, and the view to die for.

The Retreat is like home for me. It is Heaven on Earth. I feel so welcomed by all staff each and every day. The spa is exceptional and all staff are so loving, nurturing and professional. The Ayuvedic Dr and his sessions are unique and exceptional. His treatments are transformational for mind, body and soul. My personal diet was exceptional catered for by the chefs and served lovingly by waiting staff. I will return soon and I share my experiences with my friends so they too may experience a piece of Heaven. Than you Diana Stablo for creating this place for us to feel at home, loved and nurtured. The only thing I missed was my dancing. Perhaps Conscious Dancing could be introduced.

Set in such a stunning location, on a private hillside which you can explore on a daily hike with a guide. The best thing about the Retreat though is the service, all the staff go above and beyond for you, and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy and comfortable. Due to it being a small resort, all the staff get to know you by your first name, and are able to offer an even more personalised service. Special shout out to Emerson and Luis, who made our stay so much more enjoyable and personal. Hope to go again soon!!

Our visit wasn’t long enough...

Property itself is beautiful. The common areas are lovely and the pools are amazing. Everything is immaculate. Despite being rushed off their feet, the two guys running the bar/ restaurant were extremely nice. The chap who gave us a tour of the hotel on arrival was really nice and helpful. There are lots of animals that live in and around the hotel - really fun to see peacocks and coati’s just wandering around.

Not enough bar/ restaurant staff to get a drink by the pool. You have to go up to the bar. The food is distinctly average. It looks nice and very well presented but tastes very bland. We didn’t like having to stick to a set menu. Would prefer some choice or to be able to pay for things not part of the full-board offering. By comparison to the common areas, the room was mediocre - poor finish Check-out was odd. No one asked how our stay was and didn’t really say goodbye. Weird experience. Felt like there was an air of arrogance among a lot of staff.
