I picked this hotel as I went on a business trip to Costa Rica, the hotel is only 2-3km away from the Airport which was convenient and only 2-3 km away from Parque Viva were the event I went to was. The Wifi was EXCELENT! no problems at all anywhere in the hotel which was good for my work.

I overall liked everything but they could also offer a little extras, I wanted a beer at the reception at night after my working day and it was not possible. I had to go out to get my beer. The hotel is also very close to a main road so beware that even at night it might not be so quiet. I slept well but just want to make you aware. The breakfast was good but very basic, a cup of coffe, rice and beans, eggs and a loaf of toast bread.

We stayed here because we were looking for a place with a pool, close to the airport with a shuttle, and with a kitchen. This place provided it all. It was exactly like the photos. Comfortable apartment, beautiful garden, and nice pool. It is near a busy highway, so there is traffic noise, but very close to the airport, and easy to find. We walked to veggie/fruit store, a butcher, and a grocery store, all within a 15 min walk.

When we got there the kitchen did not have pots or pans. But when we asked about it the staff found some for us. We did not like the traffic noise at first, then we got used to it, and we were happy with the convenient location.

The room and hotel grounds was lovely and very clean. The staff was wonderful, very kind and accommodating, and communicated well with any questions I had before checking in. They were also able to book a transfer to the airport for me for the next morning which was appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

The location was a bit far from the airport and it took quite a long time in the evening to get there because of bad traffic. But luckily the traffic wasn't bad in the morning to get to the airport so I had no issue making my flight the next day. The hotel is situated by a very busy road and my room was closest to the road so traffic noise was very loud. I would recommend bringing ear plugs!

The welcome was excellent and the staff kind at all times. The breakfast was very good and well served. Loved the pool!

The small cafe nearby had an electrical break down and the meal served was not a success and rather expensive. The 'sports bar' was just a wall of sound and we fled from it. Not the hotel's problem of course - but it is a pity meals were not easy and involved walking on the edge of a very busy road.

The free breakfast served each morning delivered by very friendly staff was very good. We would take the bus located outside the facility into town and have lunch there. At night I would recommend the Toro bar located left coming out of Bristol hotel which is within walking distance Like Bristol hotel, both serve good quality products with friendly services at great prices.

Nothing, the place for its price point and quality delivered in my opinion CANNOT be beat. Only thing that was a disappointment was the water in the pool was cold and that’s no fault to the facility.

Clean room, hot water, fan in room to help with heat. Delicious breakfast. The host was friendly and accommodating. Take taxi from airport $20.

Location looked shady late at night, but it's decent in day time. We needed to show proof of reservation/payment. It was unexpected but doable.

We just needed a place to crash before our plane travel and found a little oasis in the busy, noisy neighborhood. Nice, spacious room, swimming pool, flowers and birds, and the most exceptionally friendly, helpful staff. Very close to the airport too. Extremely good value for money.

Fairly close to the airport, best to have a car. Nice grounds, small pool. Nice rooms. Okay breakfast.

Lots of construction when we stayed in the general area, lots of road noise from the highway, bring ear plugs!

This is an older property. It was once part of a working farm in the middle of San Jose and now it’s in the middle of the city. It’s not the Hilton but this property offered well-kept grounds, clean room, bedding & bath, a comfortable bed & a delicious Costa Rican style breakfast & coffee ( that was included in the price).

There was moderate noise from two highways nearby.

The rooms are very spacious. The shower has excellent water pressure. They give you a nice breakfast. Everyone who works there is so nice. I would recommend this place as a great place to stay.

My only complaint would be there is no ground ( 3 plug outlet) in the rooms. So, when I needed to charge my laptop I would go into the dinning room and use the plug in there.
