It was a very nice hotel. It seems to be renovated recently, so everything is new and sparkling. I liked how much light the building gets inside because it was designed in a good way. It is close to the center, the neighborhood is decent. We got a room with windows facing the street but the windows decently isolated the noise and I could sleep very well. The room was nice, clean and big enough. The bed was a little hard, but that’s good for your spine and it didn’t bother me. The stuff was excellent, knowledgeable and polite. Harvey was always happy to help. I enjoyed my stay.

There was an a-socially looking guy who tried to sleep at the entrance to the hostel, but I guess that’s standard for San Jose 🤣

It was really good for what is paid. Staff is great! Room is allright. I asked for quite room and was accomplished. Location is fair. It is relatively clean and spacious.

It was a but if a smell in the room. The toilet us very close to the wall I am tall so was but uncomfy. No hairdryer. No lift but the girl helped me with tge lagguage.

Modern and clean 1* hotel. Good price for what you get. The room was nice and clean with TV and a nice private bathroom. No AC, but honestly we didn't need it, the fan was enough to cool us down. The bed was ok in terms of comfort. It's just about 15 min walk to terminal 710 if you wanna take a bus to other places in Costa Rica.

The window in our room let a lot of light in every time someone turned the corridor lights on. I know the room needs a window as part of the safety measures, but they could get some light blocking curtains so it doesn't disturb people so much. The surrounding area is not that great either.

I liked having a private room with the bathroom inside. It was also conveniently located to the bus stations, as well as, the bus to get to the airport. Many places to eat around and a small Pali nearby. The shower has hot water and you can connect your netflix or youtube account to the t.v. The fan inside was perfect. We never got hot, in fact, it cools a lot at night and we didn't even need the fan. It's a good value for the price. One could easily pay the same amount for two beds in a hostel without as much comfort and privacy this place provided.

The window inside was facing the hallway so we didn't have any direct sunlight or view of the city. It would have been nice to have a window looking directly outside. It was also a bit noisy our second night. We could hear very loud moans from a woman in another room. There are sensor lights in the hallways and since our bed was facing toward the hallway with the window there, the outside light would come on every time someone passed by. Finally, the outside lock to the building is a bit tricky and we had some difficulty opening it at times.

We only stayed here for half a day. Arrived around 1pm for check-in and left at 10pm since we had a 1am flight back home. All in all we just needed a room to store our bags and relax if we got tired of touristing. We stayed in Jaco the night before to be closer to San Jose. If you take a Transportes Jacó bus it terminates at San José Terminal 7-10. This terminal is a 10 minute walk to the hotel. So the location was great for us. From the hotel to the airport it was about a $8 uber ride. The central market is nearby which has lots of food options. There is not a whole lot to do in San Jose but it's nice to soak in some of the local life. The room itself was great. We asked for a room with a window to the outside and the lady helping us gave use one. Request this earlier since we overheard people complaining about windows that open up to the hallway. Bed was comfortable and the the shower was good. Toilet seat was broken in our bathroom but not a big deal for the price paid. Room was clean!

Not too big of a deal but there were 4 groups checking in at the same time when we arrived, so it took a good 45 minutes to get to our room. Again, not a big deal There was 1 lady working the reception and things can get overwhelming.

Third time staying here. Still perfect for a short stop over in San José. Good equipments and good location.

I messaged the place three times to know if we could check in early if they had a room available. We didn't get any answer but as we knew the place was big with many rooms, we still rocked up at 13pm hoping a room would be available for us. Many rooms were available, but there is a 3 200 CRC extra to pay for checking in early. Small amount but still nice to know in advance.

I chose it for a quick overnight in proximity to bus stations. It served the purpose. I had read reviews about the noise and had my earplugs in . It was fine for a quick overnight.

Being made to feel bad because I asked for the key to the locked front door. Being locked in anywhere is a very serious safety hazard!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean, good laundry service, warm showers and location was also good because it was in/very near the city center. Would definitely recommend (for a short stay). It also is very near the busstation to the airport.

Bathroom was quite small, so it was difficult to sit on the toilet.

A great value hotel that was clean and spacious. The location was about 5 minutes walk from the main shopping centre and all of the main city centre attractions are within easy walking distance.

There is no cheap parking in the area and the immediate location is very 'local'. It's not dangerous but it could be a daunting walk for some for a block or two as it's very busy with ticos going about their daily business.

Clean, modern property, good wifi, helpful staff. 5 minute walk from the commercial walking street, Pali supermarket a few doors away, a nice local restaurant two blocks away that felt very safe to walk to. Wifi was pretty good too. Would stay here again.

Not very sound proof so you hear a lot of chatter from the hallway/other rooms.
