Some locals seemed to think this area was 'bad' because Colombians and people from Venezuela stay here, but the hotel totally met my expectations for a cheap, very clean room to sleep in. It's no frills but the water was hot and the hotel felt safe and even looked after our bags after our room had run out until we had to go to airport. The Venezuelan restaurant right next door had good food, and the rotisserie chicken place when going left twice from the hotel (50m away) was excellent. Recommended to save money and just get ready for a flight out.

One mattress was pretty hard.

I chose this hotel since it was close to the bus terminals were I started and finished my journeys to other cities. It's a very good hotel for a few nights and for a very good price, too. Nice and friendly staff, very neat and clean room.

I did not particularly like the neighbourhood. It's not the kind of area where you feel like an evening walk on you own.

It's simple but nice hotel. Rooms are quite big and clean. The bed is comfortable and the ceiling fan works better than the air conditioning. It's close a city centre and different bus stations.

The area doesn't look great, but I haven't seen the rest of the city, I suppose it can be similar.

Location is not too far to city center and is just 2 blocks away from commercial street with all kind od fast foods. It is also close to many transport companies for longer distances-that is why we choose this hotel. There is nice bakery with good breakfast just over the road and small convenient shop two houses forward. Room big and clean, bathroom big enough.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern the hotel was. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage space. The hotel was able to accomodate our request to have 2 rooms next to each other since our teen was in one. The wifi was reliable and strong, and the central location makes it easy to walk to the city center. We really enjoyed the venezualan restaurant next door. Overall the hotel is a gem for foreign travelers and really great for the price.

My only complaint is the pillows were a little lumpy.

Good value for the money. Helpful staff, parking available on the street, cameras street side where we parked. Good for 1 night stay close to downtown.

Rust visible in bathroom. Determined beggars on the street in front of the hotel.

It was a good hotel with everything I needed within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and you have your own privacy. I always go here when I need to spend a night or 2 in San Jose.

Bedroom window was a little suspect but it was okay I didn't have any problems.

Near bus stations, staff at the reception was helpful with positive energy. Wifi was good. We just stayed 1 night, we didn't expect much but things went well. You can leave your luggage if you need.

Great, friendly staff! Location was excellent for a transit stop in town. In between the MEPA and Ticabus terminals and easy walk from there or into centre of town. Good budget accomodation, clean and helpful.

Simple, comfortable, clean and super affordable !!! Also, the personnel is super ok! Perfect for a quick 1-3 nights of rest onto your next destination for no money at all almost

The real only issue might be the local noise !!! No windows to the outside I guess for that very reason ... A bit weird, but then again I just wanted a clean + comfortable yet super affordable place to sleep for a couple of nights 😉 I also cannot speak for the other rooms that they have towards the back yard ?! Nor the other services (breakfast / restaurant room service etc.)
