This hotel was used by the travel company that we had signed up with for exploring Costa Rica, so we had stayed at the beginning and the end of the trip. The rooms were fairly big with 2 double beds and they were clean. Staff were generally helpful. The breakfasts were mostly the same each day with Costa Rican food and lots of fresh fruit. The restaurant was available for lunch and dinner as well, and the food was good with fairly big portions.

The disadvantage was that it was a little far from the city centre (about 20-25 minute-walk).

Great hotel but just be aware there is no free airport shuttle (hopefully they will update the listing but if not folks should be aware). Even trying to coordinate a paid shuttle with the hotel was tricky. The listing just needs to updated to reflect reality. Still recommend the hotel just want folks to be aware to avoid disappointment.

It was located next to the main park and art museum, and had excellent scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant was very good and the staff there were particularly helpful.

Like the rest of San Jose, the traffic around the hotel is very busy and not amenable to visiting the local area on foot. However, it was much better location-wise compared to the more central areas of San Jose.

Very nice comfortable hotel room, in a good central location for easy access to museums, walking streets etc Good breakfast, quiet room, convenient location, and not far from airport.

The internet was terrible, full of poor security page warnings, so most of our web pages were blocked and not available.

The rooms are large comfortable and clean. The hotel is downtown with modern facilities and with many restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast is decent.

The reception staff is distracted and very slow. Although there were no other clients, we waited for 10 minutes while he spoke to his one of his colleagues at check-in instead of checking us in. Then we were told our rooms were not ready (at 2:30pm) and to come back in 30 minutes. When we got back, we got to wait for 10 minutes again for the receptionist to finish his discussion with another colleague before he handed us our keys... My room faced the street and the noise from people partying prevented me from sleeping.

Staff was exceptional, so helpful. We had dinner at the hotel and it was beautifully plated and delicious. The hotel is very pretty inside and well maintained.

This hotel is advertised as being downtown, which is why we decided to stay here, but it's really not. The location is fine, but you are not downtown.

I haven’t found a lot of places to eat around, but their restaurant was very nice. So not a big issue I only stayed one night. And getting a Taxi around is always possible.

Great city center Location, clean and renovated rooms, confortable beds and great view

Breakfast was a bit greasy. Not much choices. Coffee from machine was extra (not included in buffet)

beds are comfortable,nice breakfast,location near Prisma dental in rohmoser where my husband had dental appointment.

not much counter in bathroom to put our stuff like my night cream, etc. also space between dresser & beds are a little tight.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was good. Breakfast was ok but could have a better selection and quality. There is a car park at the back where we parked for free.
