1. Good location and convenient. Walking distance to center of the town and restaurants. About 7-10mins walking distance, there is store to get SIM card. 2. Safety. Must use key to open entrance door, in and out. Security Parking and Wifi is good. 3. Garden is beautiful. 4. Host is nice. And, people who work here is a nice lady. On the 1st day, we got here. The host gave me direction how to get the Sim Card which is the 1st item I need to have. 5. King room is comfortable. The size of the room is good with high ceiling. And it is located on the 2nd floor. I stayed here 3 nights. It is a mini fridge in the room. No air conditioning, but the ceiling fan works well. Everyday they provide room service. The room was always clean when we were back. 6. Price is reasonable. Definitely, I will come back when I am in Escazu.

I still can hear the sound from the road when big trucks were passing. But, in the middle of night, not much car passes.

The place it's artsy indeed, it has a nice garden, nice common areas and free coffee. Nice view from the window, nice bed, it was clean. There was also a fridge.

It was a bit humid inside, but it's probably because of the climate. I think there wasn't an option to pay via post terminal, only cash or via a link online, we had a bit of a struggle with this part but we sorted it out in the end.

Great location for close access to Escazu village, with restaurants, bank ATM, taxi and weekend mercado. The property is safe & well tended, many butterflies and birds can be seen in the front garden and trees on the other side. Enjoyed the art on display and small gift display.

The front road gets busy with traffic & sometimes noise.

Peaceful location in Escazu - lovely tranquil garden and courtyard areas. Homestay feel and arty vibe - loved the collection of bags/bandanas to purchase. The furniture and decoration. Great breakfast. Super friendly staff.

Nothing! If you’re a light sleeper then the queen room is closest to the road so there’s a little traffic noise.

The place is top quality and beautiful and the location was perfect. The shower was incredible and the view was a dream to wake up to in the mornings. Highly recommend it if you don't mind not having a kitchen.

The room was small and there was no kitchen, fridge or even a microwave. I've been to many B&Bs that have all of these and that makes staying there much better.

Otto and Barbara are great hosts. I highly recommend them Place is absolutely beautiful and a great value

Call ahead to have Otto show you how to get inside. He will meet you. The only downside is the place is in the middle of a hill and difficult to see at night. There is a gated entry.

The whole studio feels like a home, it feels like a piece of art in it self. The owner, manager and worker all make you feel welcomed as a guest in their little spiritual sanctuary in a beautiful and peaceful part of San Jose. Will stay there anytime I'm in San Jose.

Great location in Escazu. Easy walk to town and fresh market. Host were very welcoming. The back garden was my favorite part and loved watching the birds in the morning.

There is some street noise.

I am a vegan and had informed the host pre=arrival. I was surprised to find that there was no alternative milk was offered.

There needs to be a big board on the main road that identifies the B and B. Many of the uber drivers were getting lost.
