Very pleasant stay with lovely reception staff. I wasn't there for long so I didn't get a chance to fully explore the facilities etc. but my experience was positive overall. I arrived too late for the laundry service, but the receptionist kindly did it himself which was greatly appreciated as I'd been travelling for a while. Room was comfy and spacious, and the shower was good. Felt like a safe area.

I didn't have time to explore, but I don't think there is much to do directly around the hotel.

This place was absolutely amazing for it's value. Staff was super friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome and comfortable. The facilities are really nice and clean, this place was clearly very well-maintained. The WiFi was pretty decent, no issues there. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nice, hot water triggered pretty much right away. The location is great cause it's not too close to the center of San Jose which can be a bit sketchy, but it's not too far either and has great access to other locations like Escazu or Santa Ana.

This hotel is right on the Sabana Park, albeit a slightly west of ground zero all the "action". It's a nice, quiet hotel and doesn't seem to be filled with tour groups. I'm not sure where the parking is for travelers with cars, but that wasn't a factor for us, as we used a taxi from the airport. If you need a taxi to get around to get around, the staff is happy to call one for you. We arrived on the eve of the big Festival de la Luz, followed by the World Cup Final the next day. So, being situated directly across from the national stadium and near the festival parade route, I'd say we found the experience at this location really added to our trip. On a final note, the hotel infrastructure is very good and what I really appreciate was that the hot water in the shower came on quickly (unlike the shower in the hotel used by our tour, which to be run for 10-15 minutes). There's even an emergency phone in the bathroom.

I am in San Jose Costa Rica. I came for medical surgeries and was "helped" by a "medical tourism " agent yet my surgeon wanted me closer after so I stayed 5 days/nights and after being here already almost a month I finally was able to be comfortable in my bed, get a great night sleep seeing it was quite even where it's located. The staff, I honestly can say we're the best part o my time here! Even staff that we had language barriers was so helpful and would right away get/do/figure out what I said and helped me more than the people who were paid to help me! If I do come back I'll book here on my own that way if everything goes wrong again at least I will know I have a very comfy bed and great staff!

It really wasn't a "dislike" but especially because I was there right from surgery and alone I wish they had the food court or at least snacks available anytime. During the morning after my surgery though I wanted a "cold coffee" like I'm used to from the states and even though they didn't have it they tried and then I didn't even ask and I think he was the manager but he had went to the store for me on his own! That meant the world to me especially seeing I did not feel good that little cold coffee made my day!!!

Easy to get to. Close to restaurants and 30 min from airport

I wish they offered transportation to the airport. There was not noise control. Someone was having a party all night in one of the rooms

As in the past this hotel and the staff reaches out to satisfy your expectations. It's all there to be experienced. We have returned many times and strangely each time something has changed enhancing our experience.

Returned for another stay. Same as before the staff were excellent providing only positive answers to all my questions.

Breakfast was a little under par based on previous visits. The selections being a little restrictive.

Very helpful and friendly staff, the room was very comfy and had its own kitchenette! The hotel also has an outdoor hot tub and gym (treadmill, cross trainer and mats) and the breakfast included was very nice!

Location, as a solo female traveller I didn't dare go out alone at night, but was able to get ubers and private taxis there.

The location is a bit displaced from the central part of the city, but that makes it quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was ample, with lots of choices.

There is not much parking available. There is an elevator, but the staff did not advise of it, which made lugging a suitcase up a staircase using an injured shoulder a problem.

The personal was excellent.

The body gel dispenser was empty the shower curtain was damage, the light of the bathroom was damage also and there was no coffee maker on the room.
