Initially, we were worried that the location would be too far from the Old Town, but it turned out that Lapad is a wonderful place to stay. The public transportation is perfect, with the bus stop for bus number 4 right around the corner. The apartment is just a few steps from the beach, where we went for a swim almost every morning and evening. There's also a promenade with cafes and shops nearby. Since our family enjoys cooking, the kitchen was well-equipped enough for making breakfast and a couple of dinners, but we also enjoyed dining at the local restaurants. L'Orangerie is spread across several buildings, and we were in the one located directly above a store, which meant we weren't bothered by the noise from the bars and people. The apartment had two balconies facing different directions, so we could choose where to have breakfast in the fresh air. The air conditioning was very good, although we didn't really need to use it much. The towels were changed and the apartment was cleaned regularly. The reception staff was very kind and offered to help with reservations for both dining and excursions.

These apartments are second to none, everything appeared new and plush with regular housekeeping and a simple message to reception they’d arrange whatever we needed. The apartments were huge and had absolutely everything we needed. The onsite reception team are excellent. The restaurant on site is set with spectacular views of the bay and the restaurant team and food are fabulous! Supermarket on site excellent. Bus stop right outside.

The only thing was that we did not get the apartment we booked, we’d booked a garden view but we were told we couldn’t have it till Friday. A little disappointing as the one we’d booked had clear verandas to look out.. We decided to stay where we were but we’re happy in all.

The front desk gentleman was extremely helpful and kind. He was so efficient when we had an issue with the aircon in our apartment unit. The apartment was indeed spacious, however the tired looking furnishing could be improved to make the place more cozy and comfy. Car parking was easy. I strongly recommend to leave your car and take the bus to the old city. Bus stop is just next to the property. You can also easily Uber there at 5-6 euros per way. On the ground floor, you will find a few cafes, a Korean restaurant, cinema and supermarket. Just a short walk gets you to the beach, restaurants, ice cream and small shops.

The bedding could be better.

Great location pretty close to downtown. The apartment is really spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bath was just ok and the kitchen as well, equipped with the basic stuff you need in order to prepare a quick meal. The terrace is wonderful with a nice view towards a garden. We were greeted by a very hospitable person from the reception who offered us the support to park the car and lead us to the room. At the check out she offered us a chocolate :), a nice gesture appreciated by us. The reception services are really great!

I loved everything The floors were very slippery

The host was very responsive through email and the booking.com communication. The reception desk was open early, so we were able to arrive early and store luggage while waiting for the apartment to be ready (~30 min). The host pointed out a restaurant just across the plaza that gives a discount to building guests, so we had a lovely breakfast while waiting for the keys. She also shared information about unique bars and other restaurants nearby, and information about the local bus, which has a stop just across the street. We used the bus to access Old Town (about 15 min away) as well as dinner and other outings. The local area within walking distance was also great to explore and had plenty of activities and amenities. The apartment is huge with two large furnished balconies, one with an ocean view.

Spacious, brand-new apartment equipped with everything we needed for a great stay: comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and a living room. It's within easy walking distance to the beach, promenade near the sea, restaurants, and a supermarket. The nice layout features a comfortable living room ideal for families (we were 4), a lovely balcony, and a table for sitting outside, offering a partial view of the sea. The area of Lapad is beautiful and only a 10-minute taxi or Uber ride to the old town. We appreciated that the apartments provided housekeeping service while we were staying, ensuring clean towels and taking out the rubbish bin. Finally, excellent wifi and Netflix are available!

Our apartment faced the main road and was on the first floor, which meant it was very noisy with all the vehicles passing by during the day and night. The sliding doors helped when closed, but it meant that we couldn't get any fresh air!

We had Petra waiting for us and she very helpful explaining everything despite it was late and we were last arriving people for the day. Location is perfect, apartment has everything you need and it’s very modern clean and well equipped. Girls couldn’t be more helpful. You have market, bakery, cinema and restaurants all in the complex. Beach is 3 min walk. Bus stop is just outside. I loved it and definitely will come back !!

Liked everything

Lovely and so spacious with TWO balconies and a short ride on a cheap, regular bus to get to the old town. Easy beach access and to the beautiful turquoise sea, plenty of restaurants nearby. The whole group was delighted with the accommodation.

Difficult to find anything to complain about, though a few ants did appear if we left sweet items out for too long. Not a major issue, just have to try to be relatively clean.
