Good hotel in the city of Dubrovnik, nice restaurant downstairs. You get a voucher for the restaurant on the arrival, the dinner with it costs 20 Eur, it is a buffet, nice and tasty food, would really recommend it. I got the voucher in October, not sure if they give it during the summer season though. Parking on site available, 12 Eur, which is OK. Overall good value for money, around 80 Eur + parking in October.

In order get to the beach you have to cross a street, it is not very busy but still a street in the city. The hotel is not very close to the Old town, around 4 KM.

The balcony overlooking the bay was great, try to get one of those when you book. The food was perfectly acceptable but the coffee machine was not that great. The pool area was really nice albeit a little crowded at times, but the sea is always very very close. if you walk along the beach to the left you find other beaches with cheaper chairs and less crowd. Buses leave very often to Dubrovnic old town, easy and cheap to get there.

Not much really, the hotel needs a renovation I guess since it has been around for many years but that does not really affect the quality of anything we as customers cared about

Firstly, my room was nice, clean, and with a beautiful view out across the bay. It wasn't really warm enough to sit out in the evenings but in the summer it must be lovely to sit out on the balcony. I like a very hard bed and this one wasn't bad at all! Breakfast is buffet style with lots of things to choose from - I'm just a cereal person so I doubled down on the CocoPops and the Hot Chocolate. Inside the hotel is nice and clean and has a friendly atmosphere. I didn't interact too much with the staff but any time we did talk they were always helpful. Wi-Fi was good and strong. The area is nice and pretty quiet; just a few minutes away is a boulevard with restaurants etc. I didn't find a good nearby supermarket but I'm sure there's one somewhere.

Nothing really, it was all good. I've seen people call it a bit old fashioned, but I thought it was quite stylish.

Zoran is the reason this hotel scores so highly. All the staff were lovely but zoran went above and beyond and was definitely the best part of this hotel, he is an asset to hotel komodor! Location is great opposite beach and 2 minutes from a bus to old town. Lovely pool area and decent sized rooms Breakfast one of the best Breakfasts buffets weve had at a hotel

Annex could do with a lift very hard to take luggage if you've got a room on the top floor Dinner was mediocre at best which was surprising seeing as the breakfast so good Cant go through reception in swim wear so trek to the bar, should maybe banish this rule or have a poolside ordering service

Most beautiful view from my sea view room with balcony. Close to lovely beach, restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Quiet location. Short bus journey to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Not far from harbour to get ferry to beautiful islands. Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Nice food. Sun bathing area and outdoor pool (not heated)

Mattress very hard and uncomfortable.

My booking got changed from Hotel Komodor to Hotel Vis, prior to my arrival, without any explanation from the hotel staff. Upon arrival to hotel Vis, the staff was quite nice and helpful. They even arranged for an early breakfast for me on one of the days. The breakfast was ok. No natural juices or toaster available. The hotel has direct conection to the beach and great sea views

The rooms need to be refurbished. Also, the access to the hotel is full of stairs to the main entrance and the beach, which is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. I don't know if there is an alternative. The walls of the rooms are paper-thin and you can hear almost everything that goes on in your entire floor.

Good location, close to beach, bus stop & main strip in Lapad. Spacious rooms. Lovely little pool area with views out to the beach. Is dated but has a vintage charm about the place - we liked it but not everyone’s taste! Breakfast simple but still enough choice. Staff very helpful and friendly especially the guy on the bar.

Could do with some modernisation in parts. Slight musty smell in the room. Fine hotel for a couple of days in Lapad / Dubrovnik.

The hotel is in the ideal location just 3 min walk from the Lapad strip. There’s a lovely pool with stunning sea views. The staff are so friendly and provided me with great info on where to eat and drink each night. My room was very clean and the cleaning staff do the rounds at 8.30. If you’re hungover and need to sleep you can hang the “do not disturb” hook over the door and they’ll come to your room last. The room had a tv, nice bathroom and a balcony with a view of the bay. Breakfast was tasty and the dining hall is very spacious with an indoor and outdoor area so if you’ve had a few drinks the night before you can can find a quiet corner and do your own thing. The hotel is also located right next to a mini market and row of shops where you can get bits for the beach or any clothes you may need or forgot to take with you in your luggage. I would highly recommend this place. It’s where o will stay when I return.

There’s was nothing that I didn’t like about the hotel.

The location of the hotel is great. My room had a balcony which opened onto a view of the whole bay in front of the hotel. From day 1 at Check-in I was very impressed with the staff, particularly Anita from Reception who greeted me at my check-in and seemed to be there without going home throughout the duration of my 5 day stay. Staff were very helpful. I was particularly impressed and surprised to find the tv in my room was a smart tv. I was able to log into my Netflix account straight away and didn’t have to worry at all about using mobile data to watch Netflix whilst away. Having said that, the hotel wifi was available in all parts of the hotel, although at times the signal did drop a little.

It’s a shame that the hotel rooms don’t have fridge and kettle facilities. Knowing this beforehand I took a travel kettle and some powdered milk, but it would have been good to have a fridge to keep cold drinks cold and to have fresh milk. If these two facilities were provided in the guest rooms it would definitely be a 10/10 from me. Another minor niggle from me was the fact that the rooms don’t hace ‘Do Not Disturb’ signs that you can put on the outside of the room. So every morning was a repeat of the cleaners trying their keys in the rooms and then having to get up to answer the door and tell them I didn’t require housekeeping. This is something that can quite easily be solved.

Pool was clean and easy access. Bus line 4 into town was minutes away. Breakfast was good. Quiet at night. Excellent internet. Room with a seaview with a balcony was lovely. Great supermarket beside hotel.

Individual room ( room 220) is really small and plumbing issues in some rooms. ( room 210) More plugs would be helpful. Room not hoovered for 4 days. Surrounding areas abandoned this year so nearby beach is really basic.
