Situated in a lovely quiet area with beautiful views. Away from the road so no traffic noise...although it's only a little road anyway, not busy. Short walk, about 10 minutes, down to the town where there were many varied restaurants and bars. Good sized room with a nice balcony overlooking the gardens and bay. Large complimentary bowl of fresh fruit and bottle of water...very much appreciated when I arrived quite late in the evening. Numerous outside areas to sit or sunbathe. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided was great, had everything you could want and plenty of it. The bus to the Old Town stopped right opposite the entrance and ran every 30 minutes. I bought a Dubrovnik Three Day Pass, covered lots of places in the Old Town including the wall and all local bus fares - saved me a lot of money. Overall, I would go back here.

Room could do with some modernising. Hairdryer was wall mounted over the toilet with quite a short hose, not much power and a handle that got very hot. Room didn't have a kettle or coffee maker but I had taken a travel kettle just in case. Unfortunately the only usuable socket was on the back wall under the desk so very awkward to get to. I knew when I booked that there wasn't a lift but one would have come in very useful. Did have to complain...dirty crockery, glasses etc left for 4 days. Was sorted immediately though once I reported it.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent; food was very fresh and plenty of options available. It was very easy to travel from the hotel to the old town by bus. The views from the hotel over Lapad bay were just lovely. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was very clean and well looked after. We booked taxis with the hotel for our journey to/from the airport and that all went smoothly. There are some restaurants and shops within walking distance (just 2 bus stops away). Having a room with a double and a separate single bedroom was ideal for us and a great option to have. I would love to return for another visit in the future.

We didn't have any issues with anything but there isn't a lift which may affect some people with mobility issues. My elderly mother was ok with the stairs to the second floor but some people may need to specify a ground floor room when booking.

The staff. They were always asking to help us in anything we requestedand they came through always, way beyond the request. To top it all they were extremely warm-hearted and cheerful, as most Istanbuleans we encountered. We checked out at 5 am and asked the receptionist is he could get us a bite and coffee. He not only gave us the coffee of our choice with a delicious cake and cookies, he also gave our driver, the same treat. Location is a short walk away from many attractions in the Old City. We had Ocean view of the Bosforus that made our hearts melt. It is a small, modest hotel but with all the amenities, super clean at a great price. Breakfast was great at 15 Euros. Bargain.

Towels were not tops.

Staff was very attentive to us. They even let us check in earlier, which was great because our baby needed to sleep.We received a lot of help from them from the moment we arrived until we left. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was varied. The pool was not necessary since the beach was in front of the hotel.

It would be great if they updated the facilities a bit. The floor and bed in the room creaked when lying down or walking. And described that there are a lot of stairs in the hotel (just a warning for families with strollers) and there is no elevator.

The location was beautiful and away from the crowds in old town. The hotel is on a bus route that made it easy to grt to the center when we wanted to get to tours. Stunning views from the terraces and restaurant of the Adriatic sea. The hotel staff is excellent. That was my experience throughout Croatia.

I enjoyed having breakfast buffet included, the food was abundant but rather mediocre. Eggs were very cold and bacon was undercooked. There is a lovely restaurant right by the sea where you can order off the menu, but it closes at 5pm, which means you are limited to the buffet at the main restaurant. That might change in high season. To the staff’s credit, they did let us order from the dinner menu, as my friend is gluten intolerant. The staff is exceptional.

Located a good 20 minutes (by easy bus ride) from Old Town, in quieter more beachy area of Dubrovnik. Within that beach zone, hotel on the far side of most of the beach “action”, but still walkable to larger beaches & restaurants, which are on the other side of the inlet. The upside of a kind of out of the way location is the quiet & it’s uncrowded. Charmingly set in a cliff, but be aware that means quite a bit of climbing/stairs. Restaurants and bar on site were good. Staff were excellent and very helpful!

Rooms are quite small and rooms and hallways were starting to look a little beat, though clean and adequate.

Many things I would consider favorable about this facility: Location on the waterfront, Facility staff were very attentive and proactive in our needs. The provided breakfast was outstanding with menu items changing from day to day, while the seating overlooked the bay. A great way to start our day. I would not consider this remark as a negative response but the facility is older AND the staff work very hard to improve on its appearance. I understand that if the costs of the rooms were increased, a higher degree of improvements could be maintained. I preferred the current room costs as well as the facility's current appearance. Good value for money. Staff very helpful and pleasant. This is not luxury it is a 3 star. Ample breakfast. Beautiful views. Bus stop right by hotel. Very convenient. 15 mins to get to Dubrovnik Old City No. 4 Bus. Recommend buying the Dubrovnik Pass online which is great value and includes hours 72 hours of bus and museum visits (Inc City Walls). Lapad (where the hotel is situated) restaurants quiet in April. Very pleasant. Weather perfect. Did not enjoy the evening buffet at Hotel Splendid...this needs improvement. Overall really good. Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean. Walls thin but didn't bother us. Very peaceful on the whole. Again, stunning setting. I imagine in the warmer weather it would be smashing too being right by the water's edge.Thank you Hotel Splendid

We’ve just had 3 nights on a trip to compete in the half marathon. The hotel staff were fantastic, helpful, happy and just all round great service. We used the pool and sauna facilities over the road, also hassle free. The terrace and views at the coast are stunning, perfect to sit and enjoy the sun rise, sunset…. little bit conscious of staying away from the main drag but it was no bother at all, buses like clockwork from outside hotel to the old town every 15 mins. Super stay and great value for money 🫶

Great value hard to fault without being picky so why bother finding something to whinge about!!

Located on Lapad Bay with wonderful views! The breakfast offers many choices and you can enjoy it on the outside patio overlooking the bay. It is an easy walk to restaurants, bars and a store. It is a 6 Euro ride by Uber to the Old City or a 35 minute walk. Easy to find and great parking. The air conditioning is very nice, quiet and kept the room perfect.

Unfortunately there is construction going on across the bay and it’s quite loud during the day. We were out all day so it wasn’t a problem for us but could be bothersome if you stay at the hotel during the day.
