Since the internal pool and especially the salt room has limited sunbathing areas, which is to the disadvantage of many hotel guests, due to different guests who use the sunbathing areas unlimited (especially in the salt room with only 2 loungers, where guests stay up to two hours!!!), unfortunately you can hardly use these spa facilities. Here, as in many hotels, a time-limited reservation, for a general benefit for all hotel guests, would be an advantage and solution

Staff is very kind and friendly. Water in their indoor pool is warm and pleasant for swimming. Nespresso coffee machine was a big surprise. Bvlgari cosmetics are found in the bathroom. Cleaning was good and on time. Champagne for breakfast is a nice touch. Their lobby is really warm and pleasant for relaxation. The hotel is close to a majority of tourist attractions in the city.

Corridors around the indoor pool and spa center are freezing cold and bathrobes too thin for off season. The pool itself is too well-lit in the evening, thus the atmosphere there is not at all romantic. Not any cakes are offered for breakfast. Furniture in the room is not adequate for the property of that rank and there is no carpet. Bathroom does not have any doors, so it is a bit colder there. The room service prices are abnormal.

We stayed for 4 nights in Rixos Hotel Dubrovnik and we would give it a 5 star rating! From staff to location to gorgeous food, we left Dubrovnik feeling relaxed and energised! The hotel is located just a short 15 minute walk from the old town. Staff were all very welcoming and pleasant. They helped to book a trip for us to visit Montenegro on one of our days. Breakfast was delicious each morning with a wonderful view. We ate in the dinner Buffet in the evenings and it was more than we could ask for. There was a great selection for all tastes. It was a treat for our birthday and the hotel left a lovely treat for us on arrival which was such a gorgeous addition. Spa and gym facilities were clean and comfortable too. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

Wellness & Spa are outstanding. The hotel staff is always ready to make your stay more pleasant. Hotel location is outstanding, about 10 minutes walk from the old town, and a beautiful walk through the Great Park towards Lapad. Everything is extraordinary.

Great location and staff. Excellent breakfast, and the short walk to swim in the sea was incredible.

The sun loungers in the pool area were too plastic and uncomfortable for a 5 star hotel. Also lots of kids running round, jumping into the sea from the hotel decking area who clearly weren’t staying in the hotel.

They took our car to park it, nobody told us that garage cost 40€ per day! There is free parking in front of hotel but its full because they have only few lots..

Loved the location and the seaside views. Very tranquil.

I wish the gym/fitness area had opened earlier. I like my workouts before breakfast. 7 am is not early enough.

We enjoyed the spa. The selection of hot bath, sauna, steam and cold options was excellent. The massive supply of robes and towels along with the hot tea was very comforting. The room was nicely appointed. The waitstaff at the buffet were so nice and helpful.

The walls and doors are thin. Also, there was no bathroom door for any kind of privacy. There was a massive party until 1am keeping us awake.. If you can’t manage the sound, you need to care for your sleeping guests. Room service was overpriced. The buffets were chaotic with some food being ok and other dishes being mediocre at best.

very clean, modern and spacious. most of the staff were excellent, including our personal butler who was delightful. the food at the pool restaurant was fabulous.

I would imagine the loungers are in short supply in busier periods. furthermore the pool bar/restaurant in the evening seems to be either under staffed or staffed by staff who don’t seem to care about serving you particularly quickly, or at all. one of the bar staff was on FaceTime to a friend whilst using the shisha pipe and the other was at the bar drinking wine so we left after one drink. furthermore the bar in the hotel was slow service, we waited for a long time for just one drink and it wasn’t even that busy. the food for a 5 star hotel whilst great was somewhat disappointing that the main restaurant was always a buffet. for the money I would expect to be able to order off the menu.

The atmosphere is always wonderful. The staff is great. The sauna pool are wonderful.

I have been a few times at the rixos Dubrovnik. Every time the food was more than wonderful. I was expecting something amazing as before. But the food was just averadge. Some chicken , beef patato salad, other salads, vegetables. The only fish was some breaded squeres u get ready from freezer. No filet, salmon. No lambs meet or anything grilled. No steak. I was so dissapointed. Breakfast used to be salmon and small fishes etc. It was super plain. I dont know what happend if its only on cheaper room prices times. I wonder in summer when prices are a few hundreds per night if the food is better as well. There are worst things in life but i was quite shocked. Room no crackers, peanuts nothing small to eat as before.
