I spent three nights with my husband and children here. The rooms were very spacious and colourful, decorated with themes of the history of Imotska Krajina. The staff was both welcoming and motivated and although the hotel has just opened, you can immediately notice that the staff is incredibly skilled and experienced in this line of work. The main attraction was the restaurant, “Tri Sunca”, which makes use of fresh ingredients provided by local suppliers. As the hotel has just recently opened, at the time of writing, the restaurant only serves a special five course menu, which consist of an array of local delicacies presented in a new innovative way. The hotel owner, being one of the most famous young Croatian chefs, clearly holds a lot of passion and vision for his newest project and made sure to make the restaurant and its menu an unforgettable experience worth visiting on its own, one which we will surely revisit in the future. The hotel is located in the city centre, making the entire city at the reach of your fingertips. If you a lover of nature, you are but a stone’s throw away from Modro Jezero, and if you are a lover of poetry, you are given the opportunity to drink coffee next to the statue of Tin Ujević, the greatest Croatian poet of the 20th century whose dynamic life was intertwined with Imotski. While we were one of the first guests of the hotel, the potential it has was immediately obvious. Such a luxurious place was unheard of in the region, as before the hotel opened the town of Imotski was practically devoid of hotels. Even though it is still in its infancy, we have no doubt that this place alone will help rekindle the flame and make the city of Imotski become a major tourist destination, as the Michelin star worthy quality of food and care that the hotel’s wonderful restaurant provides will surely attract visitors not only from Croatia, but the entire world.

The front management / Hotel boss helped me a lot, when I was sick at check-out day. I couldn't travel home under this condition and she organized a solution. I could stay in my room. That was a big help for me and more than friendly. Hospitable, friendly and professional Staff. Also the housekeeping Lady. Thank you! The door makes noises, when neighbours close their doors.

This was our first time at this hotel. It was wonderful, we were delighted. The people were the ones who left the biggest impression on us. The waiters, the chef who prepares perfect dishes, the maids who take care of every detail. The hotel is beautifully decorated, in a perfect location, clean and comfortable. A blend of the heritage of the area in which it is located, the food it serves and the people who are there for us to please us. Highly recommended!

The hotel was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and had a fresh, inviting atmosphere throughout. The rooms were modern and stylish, offering a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. From the well-appointed interiors to the thoughtful attention to detail, it was clear that the hotel staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard. I truly felt at ease and well taken care of during my stay.

There was honestly nothing to dislike about my stay. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded my expectations, from the welcoming staff to the quality of the amenities. If I had to search for a flaw, it would be that my stay wasn't long enough to fully enjoy everything the hotel had to offer

Emotheo Heritage Hotel is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived the service was incredible. We were given a welcome drink on arrival whilst checking in. We were talked through places to visit. The blue lakes were only a short walk from the hotel. We had arrived after a big trip and we could not have picked a better place to stay. Our room was incredible. It was large, we had a separate lounge area, spotlessly clean, big bathroom and the bedroom was a dream. The hotel has been impeccably renovated. We had 3 meals at the hotel which is something we don’t normally do but the food and drinks were superb and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Emotheo Heritage Hotel.

Fantastic experience. New hotel, everything very clean with modern rooms. Ours had lovely blue theme with a calm view over the fortress. Great staff at reception, bar and restaurant. They also arranged taxi service to nearby vineyard. The hotel is just by the blue lake we walked to several times.

Exceptional boutique hotel in the centre of the old town. The breakfast was amazing. Great variety and promote local organic produce including cheese, oil, wines and fresh produce. The staff and service was exceptional - extremely helpful, accommodating and nothing was difficult for them. The beds were very comfortable and the location couldn't be better - just a stroll to the famous Blue Lake. Exceptional value for money and a great place to stay to enjoy the Dalmatian hinterland which has so much to offer and a pleasant and welcome change from the coast but yet only a short 30 minute drive to the Makarska Riviera. Imotski is a definite must for anyone travelling to Croatia and Hotel Emotheo is the place to stay.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Everything was top. Located in a nice, seemingly newly renovated building right in the city center and just 5 minutes from the blue lake. Check in was very nice, they even offered me a glass of sparkling wine while they reviewed my documents. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. Mine had a view of the castle. Very modern furnishings. Had all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was also outstanding, made a la carte. I ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and very much enjoyed the meal.

Perhaps only downside is the hotel does not have any private parking. I had to find an open spot nearby. Luckily I visited in February so there were free spots. Also the room did not have a hot pot for tea or coffee.

For us the location was perfect and allowed us to visit the Croatian coast with our rented car. The staff recommended a few towns to visit which we did. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast tailored to our needs and nice. The hotel is lovely and source food and wine from local producers which we enjoyed tasting. We had the room with the balcony with a very nice view. Our stay was made special as the staff were so welcoming.

Bed was extremely comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was spotless. Loved the a la carte breakfast and the soy milk option for coffee. Staff were outstanding and wanted to ensure guests were happy. Location was fantastic and it was great to see a high end hotel in the city to cater for guests who want better quality accommodation. Even though there were things that need reviewing and improving I will definitely be back to stay again.

No iron/ironing board in the room. No lotion/vanity kit in the bathroom. No umbrella in the closet- just in case! No access to parking outside the hotel. The nearest free parking area is 500m away. Not sure how this will work in Autumn or Winter with rain. More bottled water in the mini bar. No cakes/pastries for breakfast on offer for those who want it. The dried fruit on offer in the room…. Get rid of this and replace it with a chocolate or a small plate of fruit instead.
