Breakfast delicious, breakfast lady very lovely. Room big and very clean. Beautiful hotel and great facilities. Definitely worth a visit

The room was modern and with good balcony and lovely views to the sea. The indoor pool was really nice and made the difference when the weather wasn’t as good, specially because the water is warm. Did a hot stone massage in the SPA, which was really nice. The SPA staff was nice as well. Breakfast can be improved but is ok. The lady that was doing the breakfast check in was nice.

A lot of hotel staff doesn’t speak much English, except from reception and SPA staff. Pool bar staff not very helpful. The staff in general wasn’t very nice, you didn’t feel they wanted to help. The room service isn’t actually a room service. You need to go to the bar in the lobby to order the food and the menu is limited. The room phone didn’t work and we couldn’t find any instructions with numbers to call reception for example.

Great location, the room and the amenities were fantastic with the great view from the balcony. The food from the restaurant was good and especially the breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice, quantity and quality. The spa is very modern and nice.

The noise generated from slamming doors early in the morning was very annoying. They should replace the door closing system to smoothen the door closure. Also at the pool level there is a bar serving drinks and food but the people who are present at the bar 90% of the time are unable to do anything for the customer and you have to wait for the official “Barman”

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amphora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the Front Desk staff greeted us with such kindness and warmth, making us feel instantly welcome. The Housekeeping team was just as lovely - we requested to separate the double bed into twin beds and the kind blonde maid did it truly swiftly with a big smile on her face, without being at least bothered by the additional request. Unfortunately I did not ask for her name so I can’t give a personal shoutout to her here. She is truly a gem and I hope the management recognizes this. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean—I honestly can’t remember the last time I slept this well in a hotel! The thoughtful welcome gift (fruits, water, and wine) was such a nice touch. The spa was incredible, offering the perfect place to unwind. Watching the breathtaking sunset over the sea from the swimming pool area was truly magical! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Although there was some construction at the beach in front of the hotel, it didn’t bother us at all and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we left feeling refreshed. Unfortunately we were in Split only for a short 1-night stay, but the hotel is worth revisiting in the future.

Staff were not overly helpful. The location is very remote. Nothing around it and beach very run down.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Amfora Hotel! The rooms were impeccably clean, stylish, and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. A special shoutout goes to Franka at reception—she truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect from the moment we entered and the moment we left. Her hospitality, professionalism, and accommodating nature made all the difference. Wellness and spa area was great, and for sure was a highlight of our stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you to the entire team, especially Franka, for making our stay unforgettable.

We were on a city break to Split and our choice was Hotel Amphora because of its location and Spa and Wellness centre and we did not choose wrong. I could say it was one of the best hotels in Croatia. From the very beginning the staff was extremely polite, they even offered us free upgrade to Superior room with Sea View. Room was spacious and the view from the balcony was fantastic. You could even hear sound of the waves with the balcony door opened. You have everything you need in the room, even the ironboard. Spa is great, even though there was a lot of guests at the time the pool and sauna’s were not crowded and you could enjoy your time. Complimentary tea in the sauna area is such a sweet detail. Location is 10 minutes drive from the old city but you could enjoy seaside walk in the hotel aera which is very peaceful and quiet. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and some people were swimming so if you are into one last swim for this year the location is great. Breakfast was really good and big plus is that you could enjoy your meal while looking at the sea.

For a 4-star hotel they made it feel like a 5-star. Our room was huge, we had a sea view. The shower was amazing. The balcony large. The gym was a full gym! The breakfast spread was better than any we have had and it was included. Private parking garage under hotel included. Beach right outside the front door. I would aboslutely book here again. It was a splurge two days for us and we don't regret it one bit.

Not their fault, FYI the whole area is under construction in front of and around the hotel. We knew this going in. It did NOT affect the hotel or the service or the amenities, just know that you are going down dirt roads and around construction equiptment and you feel like you are lost, but you are not! You arrive and pull into the parking lot and are at a really fine hotel! Don't let the surrounding construction keep you away.

We stayed here for our First Wedding Anniversary. I have stayed in many 5 star luxury hotels and although this is advertised as 4, the service, the rooms, the location felt like 6 Star. It truly is a wobderful Hotel with magnificent staff. I cant recommend it highly enough. The sea view is awesome and the breakfast was great, they had cooked and continental on the buffet. Free car parking, just cant go wrong really. Thanks!!

Very nice hotel with a calm atmosphere. It was great that it has a small beach in front, but also the alternatives of three pools in the hotel.

The Amphora Hotel listed that it has chargers for electric vehicles. I looked for charging outlets (dedicated box) in the parking basement, but I couldn’t find them. I asked the front desk for help, but they couldn’t find the outlets as well. In the end, it turned out that they just have the normal 230-240V outlets and the guest must bring an own emergency charger. This type has a very low output. So the guest will need to be patient, since charging to a full battery may take more than 24 hours (depending on the battery state). So, the Amphora is really not offering an effective charging solution. Very disappointing, indeed.
