We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and spacious with a big and very comfortable bed. The beach is right across the road and getting around with a taxi or uber was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately return.

Great location, very comfortable, spacious room, very nice SPA, comfortable sundeck. Bartender on the rooftop was very good, drinks were excellent.

Staff is poorly trained at the restaurant/lobby bar. We asked to change large bills to smaller once at the front desk, the answer was something like we don’t do it and why do you need it. We went for dinner to the restaurant. Menu is very poor , not much to choose from. They were out of items we wanted ( restaurant was empty, us and two other tables). We ordered burgers and chicken tenders not because we wanted, but because there was nothing else that looked good. That was a mistake also. Rooftop drinks were great, but the ambience needs lots of improvement.

The room was very spacious and beds very large and comfortable. The spa was a great addition as well as the gym. Breakfast was fully comprehensive and catered for all taste.praise to Marco at reception for the welcome and all the tips on Split.

Not enough sun loungers outside by the pool. People tend to leave a towel and disappear for hours to end. Gym etiquette is some what questionable with people coming in barefoot or in sandals and shirtless. Against every sign that is up on the wall. Staff didn’t seem to monitor or check. leave gym open 24/7. The safe in our room could have been taken away by anyone as it wasn’t fixed to the wall or else. Our door was left open all day by the cleaning staff which was a concern of ours upon our return to the room in the evening.

Absolutely fabulous. Very modern, clean and spacious. Rooms are great , lovely bathroom and balcony with side sea view. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful . I had requested in writing 2 days before my arrival a lower floor as I am uncomfortable with elevators but unfortunately they could not accommodate me and said that they upgraded me to a better room but on the 9 th floor and assured me that their elevators were very safe. I was fine with that and felt very comfortable in their modern ,efficient elevators. Their swimming pools were amazing with a great sea view. We had dinner served to us by the pool and used both the outdoor pool ( a bit too cold) and the warmer indoor pool. Across the street is a great accessible beach with ramps and wide stairs for people with accessibility problems and I benefited from that tremendously. The sea was lovely . The beach is quite rocky on the one side but then there is that accessible part with big umbrellas and benches. I had my own little beach chair but were too late for the umbrellas but we still enjoyed a great day at the beach. We had a great dinner at the restaurant the last night and truly enjoyed the food and service.

The room was modern and with good balcony and lovely views to the sea. The indoor pool was really nice and made the difference when the weather wasn’t as good, specially because the water is warm. Did a hot stone massage in the SPA, which was really nice. The SPA staff was nice as well. Breakfast can be improved but is ok. The lady that was doing the breakfast check in was nice.

A lot of hotel staff doesn’t speak much English, except from reception and SPA staff. Pool bar staff not very helpful. The staff in general wasn’t very nice, you didn’t feel they wanted to help. The room service isn’t actually a room service. You need to go to the bar in the lobby to order the food and the menu is limited. The room phone didn’t work and we couldn’t find any instructions with numbers to call reception for example.

Almost everything was perfect! The breakfast was outstanding, the hotel itself is truly high-class with excellent service. The balcony view deserves a solid 10 out of 10. The pool, open until 10 p.m., was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended!

If you have a room with a sea view, make sure to close the balcony doors in the morning. Starting from 6 a.m., the city service cleans the beach with a very loud cleaning machine. I understand this is not the hotel’s fault, but the hotel management should raise this issue with the local authorities and try to solve the problem

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amphora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the Front Desk staff greeted us with such kindness and warmth, making us feel instantly welcome. The Housekeeping team was just as lovely - we requested to separate the double bed into twin beds and the kind blonde maid did it truly swiftly with a big smile on her face, without being at least bothered by the additional request. Unfortunately I did not ask for her name so I can’t give a personal shoutout to her here. She is truly a gem and I hope the management recognizes this. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean—I honestly can’t remember the last time I slept this well in a hotel! The thoughtful welcome gift (fruits, water, and wine) was such a nice touch. The spa was incredible, offering the perfect place to unwind. Watching the breathtaking sunset over the sea from the swimming pool area was truly magical! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. Although there was some construction at the beach in front of the hotel, it didn’t bother us at all and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we left feeling refreshed. Unfortunately we were in Split only for a short 1-night stay, but the hotel is worth revisiting in the future.

Great location, the room and the amenities were fantastic with the great view from the balcony. The food from the restaurant was good and especially the breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice, quantity and quality. The spa is very modern and nice.

The noise generated from slamming doors early in the morning was very annoying. They should replace the door closing system to smoothen the door closure. Also at the pool level there is a bar serving drinks and food but the people who are present at the bar 90% of the time are unable to do anything for the customer and you have to wait for the official “Barman”
