The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did their best to keep the hostel clean. The curtains attached to our bunk beds are an excellent idea. The AC in our room worked without any problems. The hostel is located a few minutes from the main bus stops and shops or supermarkets (Lidl).

Although the staff was working hard to keep the hostel neat and tidy there were some people for whom cleaning up their own mess in the kitchen was the hardest thing to do... Leaving dirty dishes and frying pans in the sink or on the tables, cleaning their own shoes in the sink (sic!), leaving dirty underwear on the floor for all of roommates to see (sic!), making general mess around them everywhere they went, is something you wouldn't like to experience... But it's the attitude towards living among other people that has to change not the hostel or the people working there... Is showing respect really that difficult?

It was in a real nice part of the Split, everything we needed was close, like stores, coffee shops and farmers market were just a few minutes walk. City center and beach were 20 minute walk from the property. Stuff was really helpful, kitchen had everything we needed.

Maybe one more fridge in the kitchen would be nice, the one there is was a bit stuffed.

I had an amazing experience at Elli Hostel! Every detail contributed to making my 21-day stay unforgettable. From start to finish, I felt incredibly satisfied with the entire experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations about local places to visit. The beds at the hostel were truly comfortable, and I really enjoyed getting a good night’s sleep after long days of exploration. But what truly made the stay special were the two volunteer girls, Mag and Demi. They added an incredibly positive atmosphere to the hostel and were always ready to organize events like movie nights, trips to the beach, and outings into town. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude really rubbed off on all the guests, creating a wonderful ambiance.

Like I said in my previous feedback it's worth to stay. I do recommend it so I stay again :) it's very flexible as I book last minutes extension and Mr ante is so cool and nice that makes me feel home more. They give whatever request I want. From 3 days become one week now. It's perfect hostel I can say. Try it and u will not regret it. The best hostel in split. Nothing u will dislike.. complete facilities and fun roommate. Great kitchen to cook. Nice smart TV with Netflix. Everything clean room, and toilet. WiFi strong also. The smell of the apartment is wow like in 5 star hotel. Amazing staff friendly.. they perfectly manage to maintain the good smell even it's fully book and crowded. Just being honest. When I come back to split in the near future i will definitely come back here with friends for sure. 5555

Demmy gave me a warm welcome and did a good job showing me around. The lockers offer a lot of space and everything is clean. Offers a lot for the price .

The Beds are quite noisy, so it's hard not to wake everybody when standing up or laying down. Curtains would be nice as well. It's quite a walk to old town, mostly not through too beautiful area, so the location was not the best. I would have loved to have some natural light in the livingroom / kitchen.

Spacious rooms, big lockers, accommodating staff, laundry machine on site, large, clean bathrooms, large kitchen with pantry and two fridges with all the cookware you need.

Nothing. It is a 30min walk to city centre but there is a bus station right around the corner from the property so it’s very convenient to hop on and head into the centre!

This is my second time here. It's so far the best place I stayed in Croatia and especially in Split since I stayed quiet a lot other places in Split. My room was so comfortable and silent. The kitchen and showers were proper and have been cleaned every single day early in the morning. Thanks so much to Mr. Ante, Petra and Ana for their helps and kindness. I'd like to stay here one day again hopefully.

- Staff was nice, we received all info and guide to check-in late to the hostel through WhatsApp. - Everything was very clean and felt pretty up to date. - Nice with curtain in beds. - Good with AC in every room.

- The reception personnel came and went. - The beds were squeaking like crazy. - Nice with AC in every room. - Too few bathrooms (2 for women). - The water in the shower kept stopping after 15 seconds, making it really annoying to shower - maybe a longer interval would be better? - The showers aren’t that private, just a curtain, no locks. - The sea is further away than we expected when booking - maybe 15-20 min walk.

Well first of all I book it for the late midnight check in and it's available for them not like the rest hostel in split,also Mr. Ante assist me thru entire booking. He was wow for doing such excellent communication even he contact me in WhatsApp when I did not have EU number or either I didn't reply in booking.com or email. Doing such passion for work to communicate with clients and doing extra miles is for me considering this the first hostel I did booking in my entire life that try to contact me to make my check in easy without hussle. I salute u sir for this and appreciated that and because of that I extend my trip and stay here longer instead moving somewhere :) hostel is perfect , clean ,facilities is wow, kitchen is wow and u can cook also . Bath room clean and smell good. The lady in the morning I saw the way she clean it and even I was in kitchen she never show any attitude and she even smiling and telling me don't go out u can stay no issue not like other hostel they keep me out and telling come back later when they done cleaning.. I like the atmosphere here and the people. I feel home.

Well abit of walking thru the old town city centre about 20-30 mins but with all of the good things I experiences I can say it's worth it. Still the best hostel I stay in EU.

Rooms are amzing toilet as well, very clean hostel, one of the best I had been in Europe.

It's a bit far from the city center and main attractions, but its an easy 20min walk and you can catch an uber from back the center for less than 5 euros. DO NOT TAKE A TAXI, IT'S VERY EXPENSIVE!
