Lovely hotel, location fab , nothing was too much trouble . Breakfast and the rooftop bar were fantastic . The girls in the pool bar ( the one with very long hair and called us miss fiona and miss Sam was particularly lovely and went out of her way to provide the very best service ) were lovely and do friendly and welcoming

The rooms were sapcious and comfortable, the staff were wonderful.

A little disappointed that the only outside space was the roof terrace, this meant space was at a premium and it was difficult to get a sun bed and use the pool

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. If you want to go the city center it's a 10 minute bus ride even in the worst of traffic. Room was very spacious and clean. There's also a supermarket in the same building (unfriendly staff, but that's not the hotel's fault). The TVs can read NTFS for anyone who wants to bring a USB. The roof area is very chill with a nice view.

The gym consists of 4 cardio machines, some dumbbells and a few mats with no place to actually use them. I would've liked more strength based equipment, more room and not working out right next to the people sunbathing.

Excellent hotel. Room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the sea and mountains from the balcony. Amazing rooftop pool and hot tub which you can enjoy with cocktails. Plenty of choice of hot and cold food from the breakfast buffet. Reception staff friendly and helpful and provided good recommendations for local restaurants. Good gym and guest facilities including a free pool table. Excellent value for the price of the hotel. Would happily stay here again.

Nothing whatsoever to do with the hotel, but it is around a 20-30 minute walk from the centre of Split, so bear that in mind when booking if you're after somewhere more central.

Breakfast had a good selection, although fresh fruit selection was not always great. Some days, mostly bowls of chopped up orange/ grapefruit. Better selection of melon and pineapple would have been great. At this price per night I would have expected this daily.

Although the bed was made up as a double. It was just 2 single beds pushed together covered in a large sheet. This meant a join in the middle of the bed. Again for the price, and requesting a double bed, I would have expected an actual double bed. This did spoil our stay somewhat. On 2 consecutive days the only coffee machine was broken, meaning only flasks with filter coffee. I would have expected a hotel of this rating to have more than one coffee machine available, so that we could get coffee of our choice..And would not have to resort to flasks of coffee only.

The hotel how clean it was, the rooms how spacious they were and the spa is WOW! Haven’t been to a roof top pool like it you must visit it at sunset! The staff at the spa were so nice and friendly and the team at reception any questions you had they were so helpful. A lovely breakfast too lots of selection and was nice having breakfast outside. There is a supermarket right at the hotel too and really helpful was getting few extra things.

We took a bus to downtown split was 1 euro or walked down and got the bus back. It was easy enough to use but just being aware it’s not right in centre but we didn’t mind.

The staff was absolutely wonderful from the very begining. The pool was amazing, the wellness centre has Finish sauna, steam room and infrared sauna. Absolutely amazing! We could use the jacuzzi quite often during our stay, towels and bathrobes were provided. Cocktails were amazing and there are plenty of sofas and sunbeds on the terrace. The views are absolutely stunning! Breakfast has so many options! All the staff was super helpful, and welcoming. Absolutely recommended for a relaxing stay.

Everything was amazing, I loved it all!

Very nice room with balcony and modern bathroom. Good selection at breakfast. Evening meal at restaurant was really tasty. Rooftop pool and wellness area was nice to use, robes available in the room. Reception staff were professional, rooftop staff on night 1 were really friendly (not as much on night 2). Restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice mini bar. Overall decor of hotel gave it a 4* feel.

The lift was a nuisance at times - only 1 lift and it took us nearly 10 minutes to get back to our floor after breakfast as the lift kept prioritising people calling it at reception and restaurant floor despite us having been in it first and pressed our floor several times. The location was just a bit far for a walk into the old town, would have taken around 30 minutes so got Uber instead. Not a big deal but something to bear in mind. They charge for parking your car which I feel is a bit unnecessary for a 4 star hotel charging £150+ per night.

All staff are so friendly, accommodating and efficient. Great welcome at the airport for quick transfer to the hotel (and return). Breakfast was so fresh, covered all tastes from cereal, fruit and pastries to traditional fried breakfast and European continental. The manager went above our expectations in delivering a personalised service without request by reserving a table for us when we mentioned that we’d return that night to watch the Euro finals. The rooftop covers all bases - small but perfectly formed pool, jacuzzi, small gym, sauna and steam room. Really good sized rooms and bathroom. Could’ve stayed longer and would definitely return.

Shower took a while to turn to warm water

This is the best hotel I have ever been to... From amenities and cleanliness to nice and helpful staff. They deserve more than 5 stars. There isn't anything that this hotel hasn't thought of providinig to the guests. The rooms are cleaned every day, every inch of the hotel is perfect and spotless. There is a library, a piano, a pool table for those looking for some entertainment and there are jacuzzi, saunas and steam bath for those in need of relaxation, which are also the cleanest I have been to. The breakfast is great, all varieties of food for everyone's needs. The rooms are very spacious and stylish. All in all, the most perfect place for you and your friends or family to stay when you want to see the gorgeous city of Split. I recommend them wholeheartedly and I will definitely go back. Thank you Dioklecijan's hotel &residence. It has been a real pleasure staying with you!
