Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent

Would have expected a daily bottle of water instead of just the first day of stay, very disappointed. Breakfast could have been better with more choice. Did not expect to have so much noisy building works very close by with a crane overhead and noisy drilling. Should have been warned of this as unable to relax on the balcony or by the pool as it was too noisy.

What I loved most was the convenient location, the cosy room with a beautiful view, and the spacious terrace with a jacuzzi. The breakfast was also very good and a nice way to start the day.

The Mesamies' rooms could use some improvements. The terraces were only separated by leaves and branches, which did not provide much privacy. Solid partitions, like those on other floors, would be much better. Another downside was smoking on the terraces. The constant smell of cigarettes and cigars often drifted into neighbouring rooms, making it difficult for non-smokers to enjoy their terrace, the fresh air, or even keep the room door open.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and stress free. The back garden/deck area was comfy and tucked away. Our 3rd floor corner room had an expansive balcony that looked out over the beach and it was such a nice way to end each day.

While the view was great, there was a club across the beach that went loudly into the wee morning. It didn’t really bother us as we are heavy sleepers and used to “city noise” but I could see how if someone who wasn’t either and paid the price for the room could be upset.

We booked a suite big enough for a family with lovely views an a hot tub on the balcony. The staff were wonderful, incredibly friendly and helpful and provided a complimentary bottle of prosecco on my birthday. The breakfast was delicious, so much choice, so fresh. The location was perfect on the beach front and just a 10 minute stroll to the historic centre of Split. The pool wasnt huge, but still very pleasant with gorgeous views. We had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend this hotel.

Mainly I think the hotel feels comfortable and the amenities were great - staff also very pleasant and helpful. They gave great restaurant recommendations. Appreciated the garage parking as the street is busy with a lot of foot traffic to the beach. Our patio was quite large with a great view. Unfortunately it was too hot to ever use the hot tub, which was clean and a good size. Nor were we inspired to use the fireplace, but would have been nice in less hot months. Beautiful room, nice large bathroom, cozy pool area downstairs with a view of the ocean. The location is above a very popular beach and beach club, so also probably better during non peak travel times if looking for a more peaceful spot. Good access to Old Town as well.

My only real issue was the crowds...it made the beach unappealing, yet the proximity is part of the attraction, and clearly that is not the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware of.

Probably the best located elegant hotel in Split. Beautiful view of the sea from the shady balcony in a central place close to Bacvice beach, the railway station, the bus station, the port and to Diocletian's palace. It is right next to the sea. The staff is professional and they often greet you with a smile.

The balcony door is a bit difficult to open/close. The nearby night club is a bit loud especially on weekend days. It can be heard even if the balcony door is closed but fortunately, we are not sensitive to noise and we were aware of this before choosing the hotel. The view from the balcony and the excellent location of the hotel make up for it.

Lovely choices at breakfast of both hot and cold food. Continually replenished. The staff were exceptional and a credit to the hotel. Always willing to chat and booked restaurants, taxis etc for us.

There are some building works going on next to the hotel with a large crane moving above your head when lying on the sun beds and therefore some noise.

Large room with balcony facing the water and public beach. Walking distance to old city. Very friendly staff. Room was quiet with excellent sound insulation despite being located near a fairly busy street and numerous pedestrians. Bed was very comfortable.

Pool was small. Street noise along one side of hotel was high unless windows were closed. Construction during the daytime on the other side of hotel was noisy especially if laying by the pool .

This is a great hotel close to the beach and walking distance to the Old Town. It looked recently remodeled and out room, albeit small, was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and it had everything we needed. The highlight was the staff who were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good with many great options to choose from. The pool was fine. Tip: our 2nd floor room view wasn't the greatest. Suggest 3rd floor and above.

Amazing terrace with the jacuzzi. Staff was really helpful and location looking over the sea is beautiful. Next to the port so excellent when you want to combine the hotel with a visit to the islands.

Somehow the layout of the hotel is not very practical. The bar in the reception is not really inviting to have a drink in the evening. The breakfast is nice but not spectacular.
