staff were great and very friendly! the beds were very comfortable and quite spacious, bathroom was also very nice and clean. the bunks didn’t make noise or moved at all, each had a few sockets close to them and an individual lamp, I had a towel for no extra fee and the lockers were also spacious. They also gave a key for no extra fee. Got to meet some cool people as well

It’s a 30 min walk to the city centre - it’s an ok walk if you don’t mind it - or you can take the public transport that’s like a 1 second away from the hostel. Either way it’s not isolated in any way, there are grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and a nice park nearby

This hostel is very busy and upbeat! I loved the cheerful signs in English all over the walls and there’s a nice lounge area — lots of books and nooks to be a little bit private. I didn’t use the laundry but the front desk person was super friendly and they have decent storage for your bags. The room lockers are really nice and big so you might not even need to big storage. All the people who passed through while I was there were really nice. Staff are all from all over the world. Some just for a few days! The hostel is midway between old town and a humongous park so you can alternate town and nature. It is a very safe country with super easy walking - there is also a public tram if you want! There is a FANTASTIC cat cafe very very close by. Worth a visit! Also don’t miss Museum of Lost Tales if you love fairies and magic and shadows.

The travelers I saw were mostly in groups and came in waves, first night they were happy party people but one woman was a screamer and they weren’t very quiet and overwhelmed the public kitchen. The room was very quiet however! The bathroom is only as clean as your bunk mates so it was soggy the first day. It was ok the second tho! Our room had six bunks and my bed was very saggy but after Zagreb’s stairs I slept well anyway! First night no one thought to open the window so that night was hot too. It is very DIY - if you love hostels this is a great one.

It has a nice vibe and it is in a quiet area of Zagreb — which also means a 20-25 minute walk to downtown. It has a joint CBD shop downstairs.

Common kitchen is quite small and gets easily crowded, disorganized and with dirty dishes left in the sink — the frieze is super noisy, so it is definitely not a place for a peaceful breakfast/morning. Commons areas could use some refurbishing (for the prices they charge) and better cleaning — tables also get dirty and do not seem to be cleaned everyday. Also, being a funky hostel with a friendly cannabis culture approach, there should be some better training (especially for male) staff towards LGBTQIA; as a trans nonbinary person, I could clearly sense a different (if not discriminatory) treatment from guys, whereas it was fine with girls — also at the adjoined CBD shop.

This is my one-stop place whenever I pay a visit to Zagreb. Generally the staff are helpful and cheerful, especially the legendary night shift chap 'Javier' who usually checks me in whenever I arrive late. The beds are clean, comfy, and spacious, in quiet dorms, making them ideal for a good night's sleep. The lockers provided are spacious at no extra charge, making it a perfect option for guests who don't travel light. If you enjoy sports the Maksimir stadium is a stone's throw away, in addition to the bike rental facilities near by. There is a warm atmosphere in the narrow yet welcoming common area where I made several friendships with fellow travellers during my multiple visits. If you feel peckish there is a Mlinar bakery next door to the accomodation, although their pasteries are no match for the ones at Dubravica bakery... mmmm take me back to Zagreb, the aroma mmm.

The Latina receptionist on duty was rude and blunt when I checked out and handed back the dorm key and card. She seemed to be new there so I reckon she ought to be given some training course on customer service and general manners.

This is gonna be a very long read. Beware! First and most important, the beds are nice and I think they're clean. I've arrived too late to be able to see anything. The stand for the toilet paper is so cool and super awesome, that I have to ask the PO (property owner) where did he bought it from, so I can buy one or two and instal them at my home. They're so amazing that I'll remember this place because of them and go back at least once, just to use them again. Guys and girls working there are very nice indeed, but OMG, the other guests... They clearly don't know how to use the shower curtains, because the floor in the bathroom of our room was wet *ss *uck every single *ucking time when I entered the bathroom to take a dump, release some bright yellow water from my kidneys or to wash my front/upper paws with sharp claws. So where we at? Oh yeah, the staff working there gets the easy 10/10, but the other guests are 0/10 and in case I was some crazy violent dude, I would probably force them with my raw power to get up on their feet and clean up all that wet mess they left behind. They're lucky that I was too tired to care and that by this time in my life, I've learned that violence is never the answer... Violence is the question. The answer is YES! P.S. I know that you can't pick and choose your guests, but some people are just *umb *ucks ready to get thrown into a meat grinder. 🍒 🔝

I wrote everything in the box above that and I ain't gonna cut/paste iz here. Just simplify it guys. One box for typing all of your thoughts and impressions is enough.

I like the room, bed,it was comfortable enough, rest room was clean, outside space was designed with armchairs and small tables which were useful, there was bakery and market around,it is just a bit far from the city center but definitely it is worth to stay there because the tram station is close and convenient.

When I arrived tired and hungry around two hours earlier they refused to check in and I had to wait for 3 o'clock,I understand it is rule but sometimes we can bend the rules for a tired Solo traveler, isn't it?!😃

Great location, close to the amenities: - Maximir - cleanest neighborhood, bone air, out of stressful center - no outside from noise area, comfy part of Capitol of Croatia. It takes 10 min on tram to the City Center, 40 mins a pied. Clean and cozy. The Study League - Nightshifts were used for studying and job apps at the Hostel Lounge and foyers. Youngsters doesn't bother of the elderly in the same rooms. Many ethnicities, English widely spoken. Just the way ev it should be.

It would be great to have a Breakfast at 6.30 hrs instead of 8.00hrs due worktime of mine. Yet, there were many students, youngsters, better be by their ways, I guess.

It was my fourth time there and I am always very satisfied. The rooms are comfortable and the hostel itself is very nice. It is not in the closest city center, but near from there and the connection is perfect. There are some stores and a bakery just 1 minute from the hostel. The staff is very nice and helpful.

One thing only. The tension of the water in the shower was really low and it was impossible for me to wash my hair. I don't know, if the reason was some defect or a measure for saving the water. I hope they will fix it.

Sure! Here’s the English translation: “It’s a wonderful place. The hostel is close to the city center and all public transportation. It has a kitchen with all the equipment we need, as well as a washing machine. There’s also a space to eat, sit, and enjoy a coffee. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.”

It’s perfect 👌

I had a pleasant stay in Zagreb. The room size was adequate and I had a power outlet just next to my bed, which was a plus to me. The lockers are very big, the bed was quite comfortable and the private bathroom in the room is a great thing. The hostel is just a little walk to Maksimir Park and Stadium, which was great to me.

Some members of the staff were friendlier than others. The street is quite noisy so one of the nights was a little bit difficult to sleep. Hostel is located at a 30 minute walk from the train and bus station and the city center, but you have a tram that go directly to both.
