An excellent resort, perfectly in line with the expectations of its target guests.The staff proved to be impeccable: always available, friendly, and ready to meet every need. A special thanks to the reception team, in particular to Assistant Front Office Manager Omar Aly and his colleague Gehad, for their professionalism and courtesy. As for dining, the quality is consistently very good. The main restaurant, Tamarind, offers a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every palate, while the other resort restaurants stand out especially at dinner, with very high standards of service and food. We particularly recommend Tanga Beach Restaurant and S Square Teppanyaki for evening meals. The beach provides easy access to the sea for swimming, while the pools – including the lazy river – are well maintained and managed by attentive staff, always ready to fulfill any request. A heartfelt thanks goes to the lifeguards Ali, Islam, and Mustafa, who assisted us daily with professionalism and warmth, making the experience even more welcoming. The cocktail bar service was also greatly appreciated: top-quality products (excellent liquors and spirits) and a staff that was friendly, approachable, and attentive. Special greetings to Mustafa, Abdel, and Marco, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Finally, a much-appreciated surprise for us Italians: the bar serves excellent coffee beans, allowing you to enjoy an espresso truly close to Italian standards. PS: The resort’s main street is modern and lively, lined with shops and bazaars where you can easily find everyday essentials while enjoying a pleasant stroll in a tourist-friendly atmosphere.

If we really have to point out a few minor flaws, the pools would benefit from some maintenance work, while the bathrooms in the rooms could use a few improvements in the finishing touches, such as the drains. The beach, with direct access to the sea for swimming, is pleasant but could be kept a little cleaner. We spent an afternoon at Aqua Magic: the resort itself is very nice and the slides, although not many, are fun and without long waits, as queues do not tend to form. However, the facility is often very crowded: it is difficult to find space in the pools and the atmosphere can feel quite chaotic. It is clearly a destination designed mainly for families.

We recently spent our holiday at this hotel as a family, and overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing experience. There are several positive aspects worth highlighting, along with a few areas where improvement would make the stay even better for international guests. Rooms & Housekeeping: The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — definitely one of the highlights of our stay. They were ideal for both families and couples. The housekeeping team was exceptional: always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Their friendly attitude really stood out and added great value to our experience. Family Facilities & Activities: The hotel is well-equipped for families, offering a variety of activities and spaces for children. We appreciated the effort to create a kid-friendly environment. However, we noticed that many of the children’s activities and entertainment were held in only one language. Since the hotel hosts guests from different countries, providing these in a common language like English would help more children and families participate and feel included. Food & Dining: There was a good selection of food available throughout the day, with a variety that caters mostly to European preferences. The overall quality was satisfactory, but the flavors were quite mild. A bit more attention to seasoning and the use of spices would help appeal to guests who prefer more vibrant and flavorful cuisine. We also spent time at the Bwala bar and noticed that, although the staff were friendly and clearly working hard, they were overwhelmed during busy periods. Service was slower than expected, and some orders were mixed up or served incorrectly. While understandable during peak hours, improved coordination or additional staffing could make a noticeable difference. Sea & Beach: The sea view from the hotel is beautiful and peaceful, which we enjoyed very much.

I love the pools, lazy river and the running track. The room is also spatial enough. Btw the reception Yosef Talaf’s service is good. The wine service at the buffet restaurant is also good sorry I did not take note of his name. All the staff here are really friendly and passionate about their work and make us feel like home.

I think it will be better to give customers a map if there could be one :( I love the wonderful space in the hotel and the garden but I often got lost in it and need to ask many staff. (thx to all the ppl that had helped me

Very nice hotel. This is the sixth year I visit this hotel. Special thanks to Chef Sayed and Chef Raafat for fulfilling my request and making sushi as a special gift for my daughter, as I was unable to book the sushi restaurant during my stay.

The bathroom has some defects as water collects a lot on the floor, which caused me discomfort in the room during my stay, and the room service team was fed up with my request for extra floor towels every day. The presence of a glass door for the bathroom is very annoying in rooms where there is a family. I hope the hotel management will review this matter.

Generally we liked most things and were satisfied, for example the waiters were very friendly and warm-hearted, they always try to please you, especially Elshazly, who prepared our drinks by the pool, is very good at his job.The rooms were spacious and clean, Mohamed, who was responsible for cleaning our room, was always very interested in us and did his job very well. The food was delicious. What we liked the most about the hotel was its garden and lazy river, very beautiful and carefully cultivated trees, flowers and grass give the hotel a very nice appearance.

Main course variety is a bit less. and finally, I think the tiles in the pool need maintenance because the joints are empty and need filling, some places can be sharp!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The reception team was incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Mr. Mina Ehab, who made us feel right at home. Most of the rooms offer a beautiful pool view and are in an excellent location. The housekeeping staff, waiters, and bartenders were all outstanding—professional, attentive, and always friendly. A special thanks to Mr. Mohammed Fathy at the pool bar for his exceptional service and warm hospitality. The food was also very good, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I do wish there were more entertainment activities or longer sessions from the animation team—it would make an already exceptional place even better. That said, it’s just a small suggestion and certainly not a major issue.

The best and most luxurious experience for us ever! The food was incredible, it was super clean, nothing was missing and the staff very friendly and helpful in every situation, regardless of whether it had to do with the hotel or something outside of it. In particular our very favourite (private butler) Saif Eldin Nader (sorry if I made a spelling mistake) exceeded our expectations. He was always there, always on time and seemed to somehow always be near us! Even outside of his working hours, he was ready to reply on whatsapp and help us with a problem. The only thing to dislike about our stay was that so many staff members spoke German to us or we got German menu cards or flyers, without asking us if we even speak German (as Dutch people - we don’t…). We can understand some confusion but it happened everyday one way or another so after a while it got annoying. Other than this there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning resort. From the flavorful food to the refreshing drinks, every detail exceeded our expectations. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible staff—genuinely warm, professional, and consistently going above and beyond. Their five-star hospitality is what truly sets this place apart. That said, there are two points I hope management might reconsider to elevate the guest experience even further. First, the in-room two-in-one shampoo and conditioner. For a resort of this caliber, many guests—especially women—really do appreciate having separate, high-quality hair products. It may seem like a small detail, but it does make a noticeable difference. Second, the pricing transparency for beach and water sport activities could be improved. I agreed on a price of €50 for parasailing, which was already on the higher end compared to market rates. However, I was unexpectedly charged an additional €15, which was not communicated beforehand. This kind of surprise isn’t a great feeling, and clearer pricing from the start would definitely help avoid confusion and disappointment. Aside from those minor points, everything else was truly perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Absolute Gem. Really nice and unexpected calm hotel. The grounds are massive and very well maintained. Even at full capacity it never felt full. Service at the restaurant, beach, pool and bar were absolutely great. Rooms clean and relatively new. It is not cheap but good value overall. Also great that you can use the sister hotel which is across the street which has slides for the kids but is way more an AI hotel than Aldau beach. Always happy to be back at our own calm place. Very little to criticise: - no conditioner in the room but a mix of shampoo and conditioner. Not acceptable for a hotel like this - our luggage was left outside our room for hours instead of putting it inside on the arrival day. - smoking in the main lobby is allowed. - the restaurants are not really bookable. They need to change the system so everybody does have a chance. People seem to book the whole week in advance - gym is on the small side for the number of guests - no outside lounge furniture in the bar. There is lots of space but nothing to chill.

It really was an outstanding vacation with the family. It is an absolutely well-maintained hotel and it was really top in all respects. But what makes it an absolute experience in the end is the entire hotel staff. I have rarely seen such friendly, courteous and polite staff. My daughter is already asking when we are going again.

If there is anything to criticize, it is sometimes the somewhat too high pricing of the activities here are extreme differences to the external providers.
