We have just got back from an 8 day stay at the grand palace hotel and would have given this a rating of more than 5 star if we could. We were so impressed with the all the staff from the concierge, waiters, pool team and cleaners, all worked to such a high standard and couldn’t do more for you to make you comfortable. We were well looked after by Mohamed in the pool area and the rest of the bartenders. We paid extra for the junior room with direct pool access and the staff came to the side of your pool to provide us with drinks and crisps. We particularly loved the option of an al a carte meal in 5 different locations in the evening and the staff worked so hard to make it feel special and intimate. The food all week was superb. We particularly liked Vienna cafe where you can get icecream, coffee, waffles, crepes and snacks in the day time. The Beach club at lunch was fantastic. You can get pizza, pasta, salads, burger and chips with table service. You are able to go to 5 different a la carte restaurants in the evenings providing you book the day before and the food at these restaurants was great and the service was extremely good. It says that you have to pay for WiFi but we were told as we booked though booking.com that the WiFi was included.

I really like the room especially the Arabic-style white furniture & the dressing room so your clothes are out of the way. In particular I loved the swim up pool. So convenient to step out of your room onto the terrace then into your own pool. I also liked all the food & drink outlets, gardens & very attentive & friendly staff.

I found the floor tiles in the bathroom very slippery. The shower always filled up with water & took ages to drain away. The tiles should be rougher. Also the terrace tiles were the same. They were very slippery on exiting the pool. Not enough entertainment. Saw the same dance show three times.

The various pools. This hotel is definitely a Palace for sure! Loved the hotel so much that i didn't have enough time to explore outside🤣 I’ll definitely book for longer, next time.

Excellent architecture in Arabic style. Very well furnished & decorated room with lots of storage. Only a few steps at the beach otherwise the hotel was completely flat & easy to get around. Beautiful environment with lots of trees, pools & fountains. Excellent service from all the staff.

The bathroom tiles were very slippery especially as the shower filled with water each time it was used so I was very worried about slipping & falling but the room cleaner gave us extra bath mats. Also I felt the buffet was the same every day. All varieties of food were available but it was the same. The meat, chicken & fish were very overcooked. No entertainment at night. Had to walk to the hotel next door. It wasn’t worth it.

The staff was amazing (especially the waiters), the property was stunning. We loved to watch the sunrise or sunset on the beach or the roofbar. The massages were also very good. The food was also very delicious and had a lot of variety. We also really loved the venice café where we would get some ice cream everyday. BONUS there are a lot of cute cats and kittens on the property, we were heartbroken to leave the hotel ! The pool was also very clean and beautiful !

On our first day when we wanted to check-in, there were two bellhops that were disputing on who gets to move our luggage and show us our room. They started to tug-and-war our luggage and we felt very uncomfortable. The meat that I ordered (à la carte) at the beach restaurant was very charred and dry.

We are absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff. The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a restful night's sleep. The breakfast, as well as the lunch and dinner buffets, were all excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious and high-quality dishes. The service was impeccable, always with a smile and ready to meet all our requests. A special thanks to Hamdy for his invaluable help and attention throughout our stay. The hotel's location is also ideal, close to major attractions, which made our travels easier. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches and the impeccable cleanliness of the premises. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and worry-free stay. Thank you to the entire team for this memorable experience. We will definitely return with great pleasure

Very relaxing, comfort bed, proffesional staff, not to crowded, good food, lots of a la carte restaurants. Lot of coctails and mocktails. Great walking street. Beutiful surrondings.

Some shows in restaurants and on the beach were payable. It is realy calm, no aquarobica, no music, no evening shows at the terrace only in sister hotel.

The property is big and has a nice view from the terrace at the top. We had a room leading to the pool and this was definitely a game changer through our stay

The property itself is beautiful, however we didn’t appreciate all the vendors disturbing the guests at the beach. We stayed at the beach just once and for few hours only, as too many people were approaching us trying to sell tours, snorkeling, massage, or photoshoots… the problem was their behaviour which was very insisting and made us feel uncomfortable. We chose this hotel to relax after a busy year so we didn’t like that kind of behaviour. We noticed many people pretended to sleep to avoid interactions with these vendors. It just seemed too much. Also, the property has an exceptional potential and it would have been nice to have some music at the pool or even something going on in the evenings in the outside area.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and the staff is excellent, always smiling. The rooms are large and the view is amazing , as well as the restaurants on the sea, are wonderful

There are no songs or music on the beach, the pool, or the bar. I had to play songs from my cell phone. The hotel is very quiet. The hotel needs songs and needs more activities.

No kids! Big room with swim-up pool on the outward side of the hotel. Very tranquil and lots of sun exposure. Also well away from the (relatively low) noise of the bar and dining area but nevertheless very close to the reception and other main areas. Lots of electrical outlets available throughout the room. Lots and lots of cupboards and drawer space to put your clothes. People at the reception were lovely and always did their utmost to make our stay as comfortable and stressless as possible. The food was good. Breakfast was opulent. Fresh fruit juices were provided, as well as eggs in all configurations. The evening buffet provided something for every taste. I personally preferred the fresh fruit and vegetables as well as the oriental corner with great taboulé etc.. and lovely tahini, yoghurt and garlic sauces among others. Also the local white cheeses were delightful. As a suggestion: why don't you also provide some fresh vegetable juices as well, e.g. carrot juice, celery juice, apple juice, etc. which can then be combined by your guests as they like? It's not expensive, it's healthier than just fruit juice, and I'm sure it.would be a hit among your guests who want to avoid too much sugar. Just saying 😉. I steered way from the dessert buffet which was truly opulent and magnificent but too sweet to my taste. For lunch we can only recommend the beach bar, near the boats which was very relaxing and has the best burgers. We didn't like the pizzas very much but then again I suppose that is a matter of personal taste. The big swimming pools and the beach were wonderful as well. The installations are so big one never gets the feeling of being crowded. The pool is surrounded by very comfortable big round lounges with a collapsible sunshade and they are great to relax in and read a book.

A few minor things. The bathroom was OK but water always pooled at the entrance of the shower so it was slippery and we had to be careful. The last day there was a slight sewer odour but that went away when I took a shower. In the shower the shampoo and soap dispensers are placed too high which makes it difficult to use them. For us it was no problem since we are rather tall, but I can imagine that for smaller people it could be complicated to use. A bathmat should automatically be provided for the entrance from the terrace to the room. The first days we always wet the whole room after having used the swim-up pool. Fortunately Ali provided us daily with an extra bathmat when we requested one 🥰.
