We have just got back from an 8 day stay at the grand palace hotel and would have given this a rating of more than 5 star if we could. We were so impressed with the all the staff from the concierge, waiters, pool team and cleaners, all worked to such a high standard and couldn’t do more for you to make you comfortable. We were well looked after by Mohamed in the pool area and the rest of the bartenders. We paid extra for the junior room with direct pool access and the staff came to the side of your pool to provide us with drinks and crisps. We particularly loved the option of an al a carte meal in 5 different locations in the evening and the staff worked so hard to make it feel special and intimate. The food all week was superb. We particularly liked Vienna cafe where you can get icecream, coffee, waffles, crepes and snacks in the day time. The Beach club at lunch was fantastic. You can get pizza, pasta, salads, burger and chips with table service. You are able to go to 5 different a la carte restaurants in the evenings providing you book the day before and the food at these restaurants was great and the service was extremely good. It says that you have to pay for WiFi but we were told as we booked though booking.com that the WiFi was included.

Excellent architecture in Arabic style. Very well furnished & decorated room with lots of storage. Only a few steps at the beach otherwise the hotel was completely flat & easy to get around. Beautiful environment with lots of trees, pools & fountains. Excellent service from all the staff.

The bathroom tiles were very slippery especially as the shower filled with water each time it was used so I was very worried about slipping & falling but the room cleaner gave us extra bath mats. Also I felt the buffet was the same every day. All varieties of food were available but it was the same. The meat, chicken & fish were very overcooked. No entertainment at night. Had to walk to the hotel next door. It wasn’t worth it.

The staff was amazing (especially the waiters), the property was stunning. We loved to watch the sunrise or sunset on the beach or the roofbar. The massages were also very good. The food was also very delicious and had a lot of variety. We also really loved the venice café where we would get some ice cream everyday. BONUS there are a lot of cute cats and kittens on the property, we were heartbroken to leave the hotel ! The pool was also very clean and beautiful !

On our first day when we wanted to check-in, there were two bellhops that were disputing on who gets to move our luggage and show us our room. They started to tug-and-war our luggage and we felt very uncomfortable. The meat that I ordered (à la carte) at the beach restaurant was very charred and dry.

We are absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff. The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a restful night's sleep. The breakfast, as well as the lunch and dinner buffets, were all excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious and high-quality dishes. The service was impeccable, always with a smile and ready to meet all our requests. A special thanks to Hamdy for his invaluable help and attention throughout our stay. The hotel's location is also ideal, close to major attractions, which made our travels easier. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches and the impeccable cleanliness of the premises. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and worry-free stay. Thank you to the entire team for this memorable experience. We will definitely return with great pleasure

Very relaxing, comfort bed, proffesional staff, not to crowded, good food, lots of a la carte restaurants. Lot of coctails and mocktails. Great walking street. Beutiful surrondings.

Some shows in restaurants and on the beach were payable. It is realy calm, no aquarobica, no music, no evening shows at the terrace only in sister hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and the staff is excellent, always smiling. The rooms are large and the view is amazing , as well as the restaurants on the sea, are wonderful

There are no songs or music on the beach, the pool, or the bar. I had to play songs from my cell phone. The hotel is very quiet. The hotel needs songs and needs more activities.

We loved the atmosphere! Beautiful garden, pool area! Wonderful sandy beach! Beautiful facilities! Very friendly, nice staff! Helpful reception, answering all questions, booking us our transfer from the airport. Tour agency on site, who helped us book Luxor day trip and snorkeling day trip.

Though this is a resort with private beach, outsiders constantly come inside and harrass you for you to buy something and / or book treatments / trips / etc with them. You can't have 5 minutes in peace at the beach or poolside, without anyone walking up to you. Free wifi is only available in the lobby and has horrible connection. If you want wifi accross the resort and your room, you have to buy a package for 1/3/or more days for 1 or 2 people to use. Connection with this is good, but it's not cheap.

We had a spectacular time and will be back for sure. Our 9 nights flew too fast. Once again one big thank you to the entire crew starting with reception, bar team and all the cooks and all others helping out that hotel works nicely. You made our stay memorable and we will keep telling everyone to visit the hotel. Room was nice and specious. Nights at the balcony enjoying the sound of the sea were amazing. Food selection was great. We loved the sea food and sweets. Selection for breakfast was just what we needed. Gluten free section was highly apreciated. Thank you once again for the late checkout. There is soo much that we did at the hotel and around it that it is sad that I cant fit it all here but to anyone reading, book this place. You will not regreat it. We paid 3€ for taxi from the airport for 4 of us which in my mind is reasonable, we werent pushed to buy all sorts of stuff at the pool which gave us a moment to relax from the crazy sale tactics from outside the hotel. Our stay at The Grand Palace hotel exceeded all expectations. We arrived to be taken into lunch which was amazing. The choice and quality of food was of a very high standard. The fish and seafood, which included prawns, mussels, calamari, grilled salmon,, squid and other grilled fish alongside, beef, duck, lamb, veal, chicken all beautifully cooked. The salads, vegetables and so many varying side dishes left no one in a place of having no choice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all of a high quality. The fruit and deserts were endless too. Staff in the restaurant were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Waiters would bring dribble as soon as you arrived and replenished even before you had finished. The beach was wonderful, beautiful clear sea and sand which was peaceful with many surrounding juice cars, ice cream bars and beach bars to choose from. The waiters in the beach were very attentive and you needn’t leave your sunbed if you didn’t want to for anything. Houssam on the beach made sure everyone had a quiet and enjoyable holiday, he and others on the beach were great. Thank you all. The swimming pools were lovely with so many to enjoy. All well looked after in beautiful surroundings and the gardens were always being tendered to. The pool bar was looked after by Inawi and his team. They were always smiling and so happy making everyone’s stay enjoyable. Very attentive and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome and part of such a great place. Ahmed at the terrace bar made sure that everyone was well looked after and went above and beyond to make whatever drink you wanted and was polite and always happy and smiling, such a lovely man to look after you. Ahmed in the Mirror bar in the evening was also very attentive and was interested in making everyone happy and welcome. The hotel rooms were well designed and kept very clean. Balconies look out over the sea we got lost in the extra large (bigger than king size) bed.
