I love the pools, lazy river and the running track. The room is also spatial enough. Btw the reception Yosef Talaf’s service is good. The wine service at the buffet restaurant is also good sorry I did not take note of his name. All the staff here are really friendly and passionate about their work and make us feel like home.

I think it will be better to give customers a map if there could be one :( I love the wonderful space in the hotel and the garden but I often got lost in it and need to ask many staff. (thx to all the ppl that had helped me

The best and most luxurious experience for us ever! The food was incredible, it was super clean, nothing was missing and the staff very friendly and helpful in every situation, regardless of whether it had to do with the hotel or something outside of it. In particular our very favourite (private butler) Saif Eldin Nader (sorry if I made a spelling mistake) exceeded our expectations. He was always there, always on time and seemed to somehow always be near us! Even outside of his working hours, he was ready to reply on whatsapp and help us with a problem. The only thing to dislike about our stay was that so many staff members spoke German to us or we got German menu cards or flyers, without asking us if we even speak German (as Dutch people - we don’t…). We can understand some confusion but it happened everyday one way or another so after a while it got annoying. Other than this there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back here!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning resort. From the flavorful food to the refreshing drinks, every detail exceeded our expectations. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible staff—genuinely warm, professional, and consistently going above and beyond. Their five-star hospitality is what truly sets this place apart. That said, there are two points I hope management might reconsider to elevate the guest experience even further. First, the in-room two-in-one shampoo and conditioner. For a resort of this caliber, many guests—especially women—really do appreciate having separate, high-quality hair products. It may seem like a small detail, but it does make a noticeable difference. Second, the pricing transparency for beach and water sport activities could be improved. I agreed on a price of €50 for parasailing, which was already on the higher end compared to market rates. However, I was unexpectedly charged an additional €15, which was not communicated beforehand. This kind of surprise isn’t a great feeling, and clearer pricing from the start would definitely help avoid confusion and disappointment. Aside from those minor points, everything else was truly perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Absolute Gem. Really nice and unexpected calm hotel. The grounds are massive and very well maintained. Even at full capacity it never felt full. Service at the restaurant, beach, pool and bar were absolutely great. Rooms clean and relatively new. It is not cheap but good value overall. Also great that you can use the sister hotel which is across the street which has slides for the kids but is way more an AI hotel than Aldau beach. Always happy to be back at our own calm place. Very little to criticise: - no conditioner in the room but a mix of shampoo and conditioner. Not acceptable for a hotel like this - our luggage was left outside our room for hours instead of putting it inside on the arrival day. - smoking in the main lobby is allowed. - the restaurants are not really bookable. They need to change the system so everybody does have a chance. People seem to book the whole week in advance - gym is on the small side for the number of guests - no outside lounge furniture in the bar. There is lots of space but nothing to chill.

The reservation process, i booked through booking and the hotel took full amount upon check in, without deducting the held amount and i had to wait for a month for the downpayment to be released.. this was really uncomfortable for me, Despite the fact that i asked several times the status and the reception staff said max 2 days to be released, then they said 2 weeks, until the system returned it automatically after 1 month

The staff and service is amazing, the food is of excellent quality and variety. The dive center is professional.

Nothing all was great!

Bit of a mixed review to be honest!! It was our first time visiting Egypt! Read a lot of reviews before booking and we were pleased that we booked in the steigenberger!! We were considering the aqua magic hotel the sister hotel to this as it was half the price to stay there but I am very glad that we chose this one as the standards were complete opposites from each other, if you book in this hotel, you get to use the facilities of the aqua magic, the pirate ship water park was great! I travelled with my three children ages 4, 6 and 10 and we spent a day here in the water park which they enjoyed but it doesn't feel like a 4/5 star hotel when inside it it was a bit like Blackpool I would have been disappointed but it was great for the kids.fpr the day! Our room was lovely! We did book and pay for a sea view but we got a ground floor looking at the pool which was disappointing, we booked a family room and a superior room as a family of 5 our only option was to book 2 rooms here but I'm not sure what the difference with the rooms is as they were next to each other and identical? You get Wi-Fi for two devices per room per stay, the grounds and gardens are immaculate and beautiful the pools are lovely only 1 of them heated and it's the smallest and a sea water pool the others were alot better but freezing this time of year! The kids club and kids pool are in a section of their own when there it felt cut off from the rest of the hotel it was either sit in the main area or sit in the kids part, my youngest wanted the kids pool my 10 year old the larger pool and I found it a struggle as could only do 1 or the other it's a very small kids club and I really was disappointed massively as it's tiny!! there's about 10 loungers here so in summer I imagine there is nowhere for parents to sit if the kids are in the pool or at the park as it's all together in the same area separately from the other pools!

My departure / pickup time from the Hotel was (taxi at 13:00 (start lunch time)) I was not aware that I could prepare a kind of "take away" I was informed by other (leaving) quest who kindly offered me lunch box. This can be more clearly communicated to leaving quest. Leaving your room is standard 12:00 "as soon as you checkout out at the reception the WIFI is cancelled. So to make advantage of your WIFI connection if you leave later do not checkout at the reception before you are leaving the Hotel. Tip for the Hotel disconnect the WIFI for quest at 24:00 (End of the day)

I had an unforgettable stay at Steigenberger Aldau Beach Resort in Hurghada! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, especially Mostafa at the reception. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring our check-in was smooth and seamless. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with lush gardens, a pristine beach, and stunning swimming pools. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer amazing views of either the Red Sea or the lush resort grounds. Dining at the resort was a real highlight, and the team at the Tamarind Restaurant made it even better. Ali and Amr were fantastic—providing exceptional service with a personal touch. They made us feel like valued guests and went above and beyond to ensure our meals were memorable. The resort offers a perfect balance of relaxation and activities, from water sports to a rejuvenating spa. The entertainment team was also great, providing plenty of fun and engaging activities throughout the day and evening. Steigenberger Aldau Beach Resort is an exceptional place, and the warm, attentive staff like Mostafa, Ali, and Amar truly made our stay special. I highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable vacation in Hurghada!

The wonderful staff, they treated us excellently! Regardless where you look, you were always welcomed with a smile! We simply loved the hospitality and like to thank everyone from waiters to reception! The hotel had so many activities available for guests that is beyond wonderful- you will def not get bored! We loved how much heart and attention to detail was put on when decorations for Valentines Day were put out. The food was always so beautifully decorated and tasted good! The widespread pool landscaping is gorgeous and perfect to discover!

Sadly something that the hotel can’t do much about is that animations of neighbouring resorts can be loud and heard at the Aldau Beach. A shame because the hotel itself is quiet and location close to airport and city centre perfect. I unfortunately also did not enjoy my Spa experience and there is room for improvement. However it is overall a fantastic hotel and these are only small remarks.
