1) Mr. Amr at the reception was extremely professional and very polite. His hospitality will make us return for another visit. The pleasant and helpful attitude of Mr. Emad the waiter at the beach restaurant is to be commended. We are really grateful for his restless efforts to please all the guests. Mr. Ibrahim at the egg-station during the breakfast meal is absolutely professional and his cooking is really marvelous. A special thanks to all three of them as well as to all the staff members. 2) Beach was exceptional, and the sea was very clean. 3) Food was excellent with many varieties in all three meals as well as the snacks. 4) My family and myself will look forward to return in another visit the premises again. We enjoyed our stay to the full.

1) The pillows are really thick and this affected our sleep but we managed. 2) Some sanitary appliances were out of service. 3) The animation team were far below our expectation.

This huge resort is very well located ...on one side the busy promenade and on the other side their lovely private beach. Food was abundant and fresh. Staff is very hard-working and efficient: never kept us waiting and always with a smile on their face.

It was supposed to be ALL inclusive, but there were many restrictions unfortunately which are not visible in the description before making the reservation. Only certain simple cocktails were included, while others had to be paid for separately. Similarly, only one out of the restaurants mentioned in the description is in the all inclusive package. For all the others (Italian, Asian, Mexican) there is a surcharge of 10/15 dollar per person. As for the seafood restaurant the à la carte is fully against charge. I would suggest making these restrictions clearer in the description of the resort.

The sea was fantastic! As always the thick matrasses on the sunbeds was lovely! Staff so friendly and nice as always!

The food was not at all as good as it usually is but I understand that during egyptian holidays it can't be. The families take soooo much food and leave s lot! A big big waste. Terrible. I feel ashamed over the human nature when I see this. The same with all rubbish just trown on the floor and on the beach. Thats really sad. A fantastic culture as Egypt and its wonderful people is acting like low class.

Food was fantastic and there was excellent variety. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you from the Reception Team, the Manager and Waiters! Location brilliant, right on the beach with a few shops outside.

The only thing I didn't like was constantly getting pestered by people trying to sell you trips, massages, treatments or camel rides. It became quite annoying when you are trying to relax!

The food is great, very testy, lot's of to choose. No issue with the food what so ever, just to know they don't serve pork meat, which is understandable, but there is always some fish, chicken, beef or lamb prepared in different ways. Lot's of salads per serving, which I respect as well.

The whole complex looks a bit wore off. It is an old resort, but I must say it was well maintained, and everything is functional around it. This reflects to the price I suppose, as this is one of the cheaper resorts compared to others. I would say it is a value for money choice.

Not only the beach is just 100 meters from the room, with crystal-clear water and soft golden sand that made every moment perfect, but the room is so spacious, spotlessly cleaned daily, and offered a tranquil space to relax. The food is wonderfully varied, with each restaurant offering something new every day. The staff were incredibly attentive, from the front desk to the beach and commodity attendants ensuring clean sunbeds and toilets . The food was excellent, and I had the opportunity to choose from three different restaurants. It is a great destination if you want to relax away from your busy routine, with the beach just a short walk from your room. One of the restaurants is located on the beach, and there is also a pool available. The facility feels very safe, as the staff goes to great lengths to ensure guest comfort. Additionally, there is a doctor on-site should you require medical care. A tour company is also available to offer excursions to places like Cairo, Luxor, Gouna, and Hurghada. The staff is very accommodating, and I particularly appreciated how meals were served on time without any issues. They put in significant effort for the New Year's Eve celebration, and they also offer weekly activities.

The food was delicious, with plenty of options at every meal. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something for everyone. We got an amazing room with a sea view, spacious and comfortable, and the balcony was a big plus. The sandy beach was ideal for kids, clean, with enough sunbeds and just steps away. We also really enjoyed the daily and evening entertainment and shows. Ffun, engaging, and well organized. Overall, we are more than satisfied with our stay and would happily come back again!

The only thing that was a bit annoying were the sellers on the beach constantly offering excursions, massages, tattoos, etc. but we got used to it after a while and just politely said no.

The staff across the entire resort were fantastic. They were friendly and attended to my requests in a timely manner. My room was incredible with a sea view. The Animation Team was energetic , adding much to the experience. For the money spent, the Giftun Resort was an absolute bargain!

I know that it was his job to generate excitement during events, however, the MC of the Animation team was a somewhat annoying by always saying, " Are you ready?" During the foam party, he lost half of the participants before the foam started to flow because he talked to much.

Lovely to have lunch served between the beach and pool. No music blaring. Incredible value. Some really decent food options available - the grill in particular is a lovely touch.

Rooms could definitely be cleaner and housekeeping not great. Not an issue for us particularly as we spent so little time in there but you wouldn’t want to do much more than sleep. Bring your own toiletries - no hair conditioner and the soap strips your hair dry. Staff pretty unfriendly - they’re on such low wages comparatively it doesn’t seem there’s much incentive. Take a few cash notes as tips - it’ll make a difference for them as much as for you.
