Clean with a very friendly staff. A very well managed establishment. It is located in historical downtown area that is very close to many attractions.There is a convenient mini-market at the corner for supplies to bring back to the room. There is a mini fridge in the room

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, the location is a bit run down and in front of the hotel area can get filthy at nighttime but is cleaned up by morning. High praises to Chile in putting a lot of effort in keeping streets and parks clean.

The accommodation was generally nice. The breakfast was delicious and rooms clean. It felt safe and was accessible to transit and other venues.

The staff were so stuffy. I arrived at the hotel 240pm. Check in time was 3pm. I had a walking tour booked at 3pm. I explained this to them. They still insisted that I check my baggage with them and then check-in at 6pm (when i returned). I never I thought I would get such hassle for checking in 20mins early. I even said to them that the room didn't have to be 100%, just wanted to leave my bags in my room. It was strange for a 4 star hotel. Also, just would get weird looks from the doorman. This place needs some customer service training.

I booked this hotel as a last resort when I had an overnight layover in Santiago. All of the hotels at the airport were booked, and it was late at night. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the hotel and wished we could stay a few more nights. The location was awesome and the room was very comfortable.

This is obviously an older building, but it has been well maintained and updated. So there may be a few creaks in the floors and some of the decor is a little dated, but that's really not a complaint. It was still a cool, hip place to stay.

Great location and friendly staff. The hotel is located on a pedestrian walkway and is away from busy traffic that is on nearby streets. I recommend that people stay at this hotel when they are in Santiago. A Papa Johns is located next door just in case one gets hungry for American food.

No complaints really. The room we had was a large suite with two AC systems. We had to experiment with them in order to not be too cold at night. Otherwise everything else was fine. We recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location and the restaurant Calicanto service. Mrs Clara was exceptional. Also the service at the front desk by Maximo, Cristal, Brian and Carlos was excellent.

There was a bad smell in the bathrooms, maybe because it is an old building, but I think that you should try any solution to fix that.

Metro Station (underground/subway) is literally around the corner, shopping district and currency exchange is also really close. Shower was hot and had great water pressure

Wifi was infuriatingly slow and intermittent. Getting more than 1 mbps was rare. Wouldn’t choose the hotel is you are planning to work from there. A/C and minifridge are LOUD

Fantastic central location on a side street, pnly a couple blocks away from La Moneda, Plaza de Armas, and the city center. Safe and comfortable area, lots of convenience stores, shops etc. nearby. Room simple but well equipped, nice shower, fridge and well working A/C. Great breakfast and amazing cocktails served in the restaurant! Friendly and helpful front desk staff, one young lady in particular who spoke flawless English - unfortunately, I do not remember her name. All in all a great choice for a very comfortable budget stay in a nice place, definitely recommended!

My room was facing the street in front of the entrance, which was filled with youngsters playing loud music and partying every night between approximately 10PM-1AM, and it felt like as if there was no soundproofing at all. It did not spoil my stay, but some people might find it troubling, the noise was very loud. It's not the hotel's fault that people choose to gather in front of it, but they could definitely improve soundproofing for a more comfortable stay.

breakfast was great, location is ok, if you like authenticity of the place. Near metro station and caffe right next door. close distance to santa Maria hill and few food street aroung.

the quality of internet was really poor. AC in the room worked just as a fan, otherwise the room was nice and clean

+Most comfortable bed in the king suite in all over South America in my experience +A/C easily adjustable and not noisy +Size of the suite, + the location and + the lobby area all wonderful

- Breakfast only continental - Spa Bath is not functioning, even for a plug I have waited 45 minutes to get one - Reception doesn't allowed you to check in a minute before 2 pm and at 12:07 you will be asked to leave. Or is it fully booked (it doesn't seem like that) or it's just rigidly following their own rules, not very welcoming

Great location, central to historical monuments, metro 100 meters away, all amenities and stores close by. Quiet at night. Attentive, friendly staff were fantastic and made our stay enjoyable. From the front desk, hospitality and cleaning staff. Fantastic laundry service. Great and well priced restaurant food. Would love to come again.

Would have liked a kettle in the room, we bought one for early morning and late night drinks.
