The facilities at AMANO East Side were perfect. When we first arrived, we had coffee in the lovely outdoor seating area. Everything was so well presented inside and out and at breakfast, there was so much choice, the food was delicious. We visited the roof top bar and had some drinks with bruschetta. The staff were so lovely and friendly and the food and drinks were amazing. The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the train station and a perfect location to visit the Berlin Wall and a local indoor street food market, which was awesome. Transport into the city centre is also close by. Thank you AMANO, I would love to stay again!

Everything from Check in to Check out was great. We were treated both times at reception really amicably and well, both the lady and gentleman went out of their way to help us (wish I could write their names but I didn’t catch em). The facilities were clean, modern, restaurant was amazing, the bar at the back was great for a few drinks and even though we didn’t use the sky bar it looked amazing. Honestly great experience through and through. Great location in city center and Ostbahnhof is just 3 minutes away on foot. If you come with car parking is directly at the hotel and at a great price. Can only recommend and will definitely stay here again.

If I were being a bit picky, the mattress could be a bit fluffier as they were a little on the hard side but I also know this is subjective and it’s just a personal preference but still we’re comfortable enough that we got a good nights sleep each day.

Everything was perfect, the location, the dining room, the lobby, the bathrooms, the skybar on the roof, the garden of the structure was beautiful and welcoming, the Neapolitan pizza and the pasta were delicious. What we appreciated most of all was the room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view, where we could admire and appreciate the New Year's Eve fireworks. Everything perfect....then the location was very central, 200-300 meters away there is the Berlin Wall, and in front of the hotel there is an important station (OSTBAHNHOF). WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE, WE WILL RETURN ONE DAY

Nothing, everything was perfect. Maybe just the fact that the hotel kitchen started at 5pm so you could only have dinner... not lunch.

I don’t know where to start. The hotel was well located for our purpose. It was close to the Ost Bahnhof . The breakfast was good. The staff very helpful. The restaurant manager, Ron, looked after the customers in a most efficient and attentive way and made the other in the restaurant working very efficiently as well. The Italian food was very good and both the restaurant bar and the rooftop one had a good atmosphere. The room amenities were very good with an excellent shower (both a handheld and an ordinary one). I would highly recommend the hotel and would be happy to go back.

Nothing could have been better

The Hotel is located not far from the underground station. The breakfast was very good. We could also make tea or coffee in the room. The staff was very friendly. We also liked the bar in the evening.

It was rather dark in the room in the evening and in the bathroom. I would say, there were not enough lamps, or maybe they were not strong enough. There was a kettle on the table. But the socket was under the table and we had to put the kettle on the floor to boil water. There was only one chair in the room, although we booked a comfort room for two persons.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, easy to find. Reception is always available. Friendly and helpful staff. we could drop our bags off before check-in time. The location is great, close to the train station from which you can go almost anywhere. Would gladly stay again.

the only missing thing for me was cups, some cutlery, and access to drinkable water. There could be definitely some vending machine, dispenser, or anything to drink water from. If you wake up starving or thirsty just wait till morning. Which happened to me during night. I was thirsty and struggled till morning. and the best solution buy your water and keep it in the room.

The hotel was amazing. I always stay at this hotel whenever I visit Berlin. I’ve previously stayed at their other location in Berlin too.

I’ve had staff knocking on the door for room service. I have said that I don’t need it but I’ve had 3-4 different people knocking on my door asking door room service. I’ve said I don’t need for the day in English and German but they kept knocking on the door few minutes apart. Probably good idea to hang the paper indicating that no service needed if you want good sleep in the morning

We were in town for a concern that was in Parkbühne Wuhlheide so we chose the hotel somewhere in between the venue and the city center. This was a great choses it was close to the train station with trains in every direction we needed to go. Room was nice, clean and quiet. Bathroom good size with hot water. There is a nice restaurant on the ground floor serving Italian and tasty cocktails. Staff was very friendly and professional. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I’d love this hotel at East Side and I always stay in Amano with visiting my family; however I recently stayed here in summer and AC wasn’t working as we were expecting, maybe that would be something the hotel could improve.

The decor of the rooms and lobby was really cool. The room/bed was really comfy. The shower was great. Location fantastic for getting to everywhere I was hoping to go in Berlin over a few days trying to see as much as possible.

For the price, there was some things missing from the room that I would expect. No bottles of water, but an option to pay a lot for anything extra like that. The outside terrace had more than one rat running around one night, which I think is is down to being so close to the river but there didn't seem to be any attempts to do anything about them.
