The Schulz hotel is extremely well located, right in front of the Ostbahnhof and next to the Berlin Wall Gallery and therefore really well accessible. The staff were kind and helpful, rooms modern and well equipped. I appreciated the digital key option.

We were traveling low-cost, as a group of four, sharing a room. While the room was not crowded, the “bunk beds” were really not easily accessible. I would have also appreciated a safe in the room to s tore my electronics etc. While the digital key was a great idea, I would have very much appreciated the option to store it in the Apple Wallet as it is much easier to use. Breakfast was good, but the options were kinda limited, I would have appreciated more options.

Location is great, in front of a central train station and nearby east side gallery and many clubs. Also, its about 25 minutes in train from airport. Breakfast is variable and delicous. Reception stuff is very nice. We booked a room for 4 and stayed 3 people, it was fit for us even if it was a bit cozy. We always had a hot water

I'd give 10 to the hotel if the housekeeping would refresh towels, toilet paper and cleaning the room daily. We were 6 nights in the hotel, everyday in the morning we looked for the housekeeping worker to change us towels etc. After something like 4 nights, we discover a small sign in the bathroom that we need to ask for housekeeping everytime we want them to clean our room. As a traveler, i'd expect to have a daily room cleaning, or at least to get an explanation about how it works... And also i'd recommand to add a small fridge in the rooms. Except the above, Anything else was perfect.

I like that the beds come with a nightlight and long stand that fits a variety of items (small water bottles, meds, phones, eye covers, glasses etc.) The location is fantastic being across an sbahn station with a Rewe (grocery store) under it so getting food and water was very easy. This sbahn station (ostbahnhof) can be accessed directly from the airport and get pretty much anywhere in Berlin within 20 minutes. The pillow is very soft. I also appreciated having a virtual keycard since it can’t be demagnetized on accident.

It was very dry and could use a humidifier. I also found that the blanket could get hot for me and would require some finesse to find a comfortable arrangement.

I booked a double room even though I was traveling alone, and at first, they put me in a smaller double room right next to the elevator. I didn't like that room—the layout was weird, with the bed right by the door as soon as you walk in. Plus, the room was directly facing four elevators, so it was quite noisy. The bed being so close to the door meant I kept getting startled awake at night and felt insecure. Luckily, after I talked to the front desk, they moved me to a corner room, which was amazing. The view was great; I could see both the Berlin Wall(East Side Gallery) and the river Spree. The room had lots of natural light, and it was so much bigger. It was a complete upgrade from the first room. The hotel's location was awesome—right next to Berlin Ostbahnhof. It was super convenient to hop on the S-Bahn or catch a bus, which I really appreciated.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is excellent, with close proximity to public transportation, making it easy to get around. The area is peaceful and not noisy, which allowed for restful nights. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff was very friendly and always available to assist with any request.

The only downside to mention is an incident that occurred during one night. We were abruptly woken up by messages over the speakers in the middle of the night. After several announcements in German, a voice in English informed us that we needed to evacuate the building immediately due to a fire alarm. Once outside, we found ourselves in the cold (0°C), with no guidance or updates. Suspicious of the situation, as there were only a few guests outside and the reception staff seemed calmly seated at the desk, we went inside to inquire. It turned out to be a false alarm, and we were allowed to return to our rooms. While these things can happen, better communication and care would have been appreciated given the circumstances.

There are a lot of positives - location, price, restaurant on the ground floor. Great for families, rooms are a little too small. The area around the station, which is 100m away from the hotel, is flooded with junkies and homeless people. Police and ambulance sounds never stop, and you might get scared by some idiot near Ostbanhof. I would say the price is fair, but I doubt I'm visiting Berlin or Germany anytime soon - too many weirdos, immigrants, dirty streets and lack of any order whatsoever, especially in less touristic areas. They just lost the plot, unfortunately.

The location was brilliant, right next to the East Wall. The neighbourhood was lovely, there is so much amazing street art. The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the train station, making access to other parts of the city extremely easy. The rooms were lovely, clean and we had a view of the train station. The cafe in the lobby was beautifully decorated and great for people watching. The breakfast buffet has a lovely choice of foods. Check in /out and room access are all online, which i had not experienced before, but once a staff member explained it was pretty easy to use, with no worries of losing the keycard.

I loved the whole trip.

The hotel was modern - clean and everything just works right. The location right across from the train station made getting around very easy. The coffee shop in the lobby was a lovely place to sit and work with a snack. Plus, the barista was very friendly. The historical significance of the Berlin Wall park next door was interesting and moving. Have already recommended this hotel to family members going to Berlin soon. Would def stay there again!

The room was quite small. Not a problem at all for me, but just something to note for folks with mobility issues or large suitcases.

Great location, just over the road from Ostbahnhof station (walk to hotel, even with bags), and next to East Side Gallery section of Berlin Wall. Good bar/restaurant in hotel, and breakfast included was good. Many nearby restaurants/cafes. Rooms modern, clean.

Some noise on a Friday & Saturday night from nearby arena, but didn't go too late. Main issue was other guest's noise - young adults/teenagers talking/running, or just any guests talking loudly late at night; although a people-problem, was surprised doors didn't stop more of this. Don't let this put you off though; was still a good stay.

Staff were excellent - helpful and friendly whenever you needed help with anything. Location was great both in terms of the historic interest of being right beside the longest remaining stretch of Berlin wall and also being opposite the Ostbanhof station (although services there were limited due to engineering work being carried out). The station also had a couple of supermarkets and a pharmacy which was good as there weren't many other shops in the area. There was also good garage and bicycle storage in the basement.

Nothing major, although the breakfast didn't have much variety and the food options in the bar often closed quite early. It could also have been more clear on how to have the room serviced as it wasn't serviced in the week I was there. These are just minor points though on a very good stay.
