Ku’Damm 101 is my favourite hotel in Berlin. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Served in a bright, hugely spacious dining area on the top (7th) floor, it offers an enormous variety of food for every taste. All kinds of breads, mostly wholewheat and covered with various seeds, excellent soft scrambled eggs, jams and jellies of all types, nice hot coffee from a machine, good for me, numerous different juices… I wish I could have lunch there too, with the cheeses, pasta salad, green salad and other things I don’t eat for breakfast. Then there are cold cuts, sausages, and such for non-vegetarians. Its location is also one of the strong points of Ku’Damm 101. Situated on the long, straight Kurfürstendamm, just on the outskirts of the elegant shopping strip, it is well-served by public transport (except during strikes, as happened during my latest stay), but is within a half hour’s walk from numerous points of interest or convenience. The rooms are spacious and equipped with most of the usual accessories. I was especially pleased that the housekeeping was done every morning while I was at breakfast, so I could then feel free to stay in the room as long as I liked and not have to rush out in order to allow staff time for cleaning.

A small fridge, even if not stocked as a minibar, would be a welcome utility.

The room was quite large, as was the bathroom (caveat- I had an accessible room). The location was good - easy to walk to S-bahn and U-bahn & lots of shops around. The breakfast was really great!

The inside initially looks nice in the lobby but the hallways are very stark, hospital-esque, and not very welcoming. It is all a bit dark and the interior is a bit of a maze - I definitely walked in circles a few times before finding the right elevator. The room key has to be in the room in order to turn on lights/get power, so you can't charge things when you are not in the room, which was a bit inconvenient for me. I didn't like that the bed was two twins pushed together, as opposed to a full bed. They shifted easily and it was a bit uncomfortable because of this. No way to connect streaming to the TV, which was a bummer.

Thank you for receiving us when my family was expelled by another hotel (Enjoy Hotel Berlin, which we filed complaint) near midnight. Even without making any prior reservations, the receptionists of Ku'Damm were so nice to understand our needs and managed to offer suitable rooms to accommodate our exhausted family, otherwise, my family (with 2 children) may stray in the street in Berlin. Indeed, the hospitality of Ku'Damm deserves my appreciation. It deserves high marks because it is really much better in every aspect than the previous one - a feeling of hell and heaven.

In a lovely quiet neighbourhood . Hotel was also very quiet and restful after a day sightseeing. Close to the S bAHN and underground is 10 min walk. Rooms are spacious and Rituals toiletries. Water provided on arrival. There is safe and slippers.

It is quite a long way out. However the locality does make up for it as we enjoyed the non touristy bars and cafes around plus 2 good sizes supermarkets. I wish I had packed a kettle for a hot drink as the breakfast was quite pricey.

The shower gel and lotion provided smelled wonderful, and the location is absolutely top notch. The room was clean and very quiet.

There is a frosted glass window between the toilet and the rest of the room, so unless you are comfortable with whomever you are staying, take that into consideration. It would also have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room, but there was none.

Wonderful team, especially many thanks to the staff in the restaurant! Rooms a re big, comfy and really clean (cleaning everyday), very comfortable bed, quiet hotel and area, very close to the public transport from where you will go everywhere - trip with double-decker bus to the city center is like extra attraction ;) Shops, restaurants, coffee places around. Safe and calm place for staying, especially with family. Delicious breakfast with big choices for everybody, and once again: very friendly, helpful staff :)

Everything was perfect, one thing for consideration - kettle in the room to make hot tea :)

I stayed there for a business meeting / vacation for total 7 nights. The breakfast is so delicious and very well prepared, the view on the 7th floor of the breakfast room is must go place to overlook the city. The location is 2 to 8 minutes walking distance to bus/S- Bahn and U-Baha stations. Restaurants/shops nearby, very safe neighborhood. clean comfortable room/bed. Friendly staff.

May need to have an office room with a computer access for your guests. Also the power plug is little far away from bed and desk

We checked in at 11 o'clock in the evening, and after a really smooth check in process got an upgraded room for free! Super nice staff, great location near the station of Berlin-Charlottenburg. We arrived by train and it was a really easy walk over to the hotel. Breakfast was good as well.

There was only one thing in the entire stay that could have been better. The sink didn't drain as fast as you would expect. That was all though, and the rest of the stay was flawless.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff in a non-chain hotel with more personal services. The room was well lit and had good desk space for working. There are many restaurant and shops close to the hotel and it is near an S Bahn station. The location was very good for attending a conference at the City Cube conference venue, but not so good for central Berlin.

Very small improvements would be to ensure that housekeeping staff pay attention to the privacy notice on the room door. I was working in my room on a couple of days and staff entered the room when the privacy notice was displayed outside. Also, at breakfast sometimes crockery and cutlery was removed very swiftly after eating and before I was going to use it for more.

Location was great for us as we were looking to be central but at that particular end of the Ku'damm. So might not be for everyone as it was about a 10min bus ride to KaDeWe (the more central part of the Ku'damm). Room was clean and staff were friendly. We did not eat breakfast but it was possible to add it to our stay.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the pillows were a bit thin, not the cosiest of hotels and lots of siren noises from (police?) cars outside but this would not stop us staying again as the positives outweighed the small negatives.
