24-hr manned reception, English-speaking (although we can deal with basic German): they literally saved us when our Booking.com ordered taxi got suddenly cancelled and we needed to leave at 4am. In panic I asked the desk, who within a minute booked us (a cheaper) ride with a taxi to the airport and arrived as promised 7 mins later! Really impressed! Sheets: diy- change them with a bundle of new ones, if those you have need changing. Cleaning: if you like you book cleaning, otherwise they leave you be. Cleaners available, supplies available, no extra charge. Very quiet room despite overlooking main road, adjustable heating- very warm! Nice touch to have separate toilet from the shower room! Hairdryer and heated towel rail very handy. Smart TV (logged on through phone and watched YouTube on it but channels also available). Pizza place right next door, 5 mins on foot from Edeka supermarket, pharmacy, bakery etc. Really central, 30 mins with taxi from airport but also well-connected with public transport. All ages at the premises, although seems somewhat more popular with younger crowd. Shopping centre 11 mins on foot. Schanzen bakeries everywhere, but the one around corner from Manufactum/ Bechstein in Chilehaus / Chocoversum comes highly recommended. Try also the Italian Supermercato/ Andronaco, in the direction of Elbphilharmonie from the hotel, for the pizzas (the chef is Italian). We walked everywhere and was very easy to do so and felt safe enough.

The elevators were really small: I entered with my husband and when a third person came in, that felt basically rude. Worse I could smell a bit of alcohol- too close! If I were travelling by myself I’d probably not ride it, but we were on fifth floor. We booked a private room for three and as advertised our daughter got the bunk bed, while we were on the two twin beds: we slept well, but if you’re looking for less basic look then you’ll probably have to pay considerably more elsewhere.

we had a very spacious private room with private toilet and shower. the common space was really nice and colorful, provided with tables, chairs, sofas, board games, pool tables and books.

the hotel is located at a 15 minutes walk from the centre, in a quite isolated area. the staff was very slow, we arrived and had to queue for 45 minutes despite the fact there were only 4 people in line for the check in; once it was our turn we had to fill an online form that could have been easily filled from the queue but you only get to do it once you are at the desk, which makes everything so slow

I was very disappointed by one your staff, the way how he used abused word on me, I spent over 2 weeks in the hotel, I used to check in everyday but unfortunately I having problem with my card to make another payment but it couldn't go, he asked me to leave the room until I done with my booking, which I agreed but when he came back on me, I was inside toilet, without manner of approach he used different word on me as a matured,, that's why I cancelled my booking for today. It was happened on 17 February, 2025 11:30 the staff that's on duty at the counter.

I had a good experience at the hostel, and I honestly don’t understand why it received bad reviews. To be upfront, my room wasn’t on the first or second floor. I went downstairs and saw my room number was 29, and I was a bit confused at first. But when I entered, the room was surprisingly spacious, and both the toilet and shower were clean and well-maintained. It wasn’t the most luxurious place, but for £11 a night, it was perfectly fine. I stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm. Despite Hamburg being cold outside, my room was very warm—so much so that I had to open the window on the first night! If others had negative experiences, it might just be a matter of bad luck. Personally, I liked the place. For the price and location, it’s definitely acceptable.

Far from center but not too far.

Excellent team, they were super empathic and comprehensive and always ready to support me in whatever I needed. The installations are also great and greatly fit my expectations. The location is super accessible and excellent for those who want to explore Hamburg.

For the moment, I did not appreciate much the prices of additional services or breakfast, but I understand that in the city center is kind of harsh to maintain prices accessible to all the public. Overall, there is nothing critical to highlight.

It is really close the center. And there is a bus stop very close to the hotel so if you don’t want to walk, you can take the bus and go to center very easily. The room was hot you can arrange the temperature from radiator and there was hot water as well. The room was really quiet. I had been read in every comment about there is too much noise. But only noise was from the hotel like door closing noises.

The room was very small. We barely opened the our suitcases. In addition I cannot say dirty but cant say clean either for the room.

The position was lerfect to visit the city. Always clean and safe! The prices at the bar are ok, and the staff is kind. My room had one full bathroom, and two small bathrooms one shower only, one toilet only. The hostel is so big! Every floor and heaveb the breakfast room so big

Inside the bed slot there are only one usb and one usbc socket. They should also put a regular one

The hostel is clean, WiFi works, there are toilets and bathrooms. Close to the main station and the center. Beds ok. People fine. Fast check-in and check-out. Perfect to overnight cheaply.

Sink clogged, water goes out very slowly. A lot of corridors (fortunately well signed). Bed linen randomly entangled. I have found a bed cover (at least two), and a pillow cover, towels (too many), but not a quilt cover. WIFI could be faster.

It was close enough to the train station, about a 15min walk, they had good common spaces to dine and hang out in, good price, breakfast looked really good but didn’t buy since it was on the pricier side

Beds were a bit meh, and would have liked the bathroom to have been separated (toilet in one, shower in one) as it often is at hostels since a lot of strangers are living in the same room, but otherwise good

I liked it a lot that the bathroom and the toilet were in the same room as I was staying. They had necessary bathing facilities, and the bathroom itself was quite nice and clean. Also, bathroom and toilet were separate. I also was lucky enough to stay in a 5-bed room with only two people staying (including me).

There were lots of teenagers who were very loud after 9 pm. I’m not being grumpy, but after a tiring day it’s not what I would like to hear. Also, my neighbor was a bit strange and always taking on the phone with a speaker instead of doing it outside the room, but it’s not the hostel’s fault. Inside the room, the desk was too small and shaky to work on it, and there were no chairs to sit on, only puffs, but they are not comfortable to sit for a long time. I also had to put the sheets on myself, in the hostels where I’ve been before it’s usually done by the staff. The location is close to the train/bus station, but it was a bit scary to walk alone to get to the hostel at 9 pm.
