+ great, friendly and helpful staff (10+++ for them) + Aldi right next door + restaurants nearby (BK and chinese) + bus station with great connections 2 min walking distance + free bus tickets (Bodensee West Card) at reception + clean, good sound insulation, comfortable bed + good location (close to Swiss border, close enough to city center, good road connections, good bus connections etc.)

- minimal furniture. A bigger table and extra chair would have been nice (especially since room are very large and feel empty) - only a few (free) parking spots in front of the hotel, but there is a parking garage (10€/day) and there are available spaces nearby in the afternoon and evening - while the room was generally clean, there were a few spiderwebs and the bathroom would have needed a bit of extra attention (but nothing major)

The bed were super comfortable, honestly. Once the window were shut, the noise of the nearby highway was completely silenced. The hotel was just fine, and we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get into the downtown area. The rooms were very warm and the fans were not working, making it very uncomfortable for my partner. Also, the rings could benefit from blackout curtains or shutters to help cut out the light. All in all, we were very satisfied with what we got for the price we paid. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

Modern, simple and clean budget hotel, at the outskirts of Konstanz next to a commercial area with a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. The first night we had a room facing a major road, recommend to ask for a room facing the parking lot, so that you can keep the windows open. The bed was fine, there was only one pillow each, there is very little storage and only some coat hangers. The bathroom is compact, but clean and modern. Staff were all friendly. Parking is €10 unless you can find a free spot outside. Would stay again for a good deal

I stayed here for one night during my bike trip around the Bodensee. Clean, comfortable, and very quiet... the best night of sleep I got during the four-day trip. Loved that I could open a window for fresh air. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and worth the minimal extra charge since there are no bakeries in the vicinity. I appreciated being able to park my bicycle in the locked garage with elevator access.

It was a bit removed from the city/downtown area and couldn't be walked to. But accessible by bike, bus or car.

Nice staff, quick check-in, decent location for the price and with quick access to multiple touristic areas around (by car), but a bit of an "ugly" area as it is essentially a commercial/industrial zone.

Unfortunately someone in the reception mistakenly gave our room to someone else during one of the nights, which led to a stranger entering the room in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. It was obviously a huge scare for us and a very very awkward moment for the person that got into the room thinking it was empty and found two strangers were already staying in the room. In the end the situation was solved, but obviously not a great experience.

The room was really nice, comfortable bed, amazing deal for the price. The location was quiet with a supermarket really nearby. The staff let guests use the staff fridge — that’s cool.

The cleaning wasn’t great, but I accepted it since this isn’t a fancy hotel. But a few days I left the "please clean my room" sign on the door and they simply ignored it — that was annoying.

We were genuinely impressed with the facilities of the hotel. They have a pool table, cocktail bar, outdoor area with a small playground and they provide board games that you can play. Genuinely a lovely place to go with children. We also loved our room. It was clean and comfy. Our son LOVED his bunk bed. There is an Aldi a stone's throw away as well as a buffet Chinese restaurant. The hotel happily gave us an ice bucket and wine glasses to take to our room and we really have no complaints. We were expecting something basic but it was actually a really cool place to stay as a family.

The room was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. The bed was comfortable. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I can say anything about it. In the entrance hall there are a couple of vending machines. The hotel is very close to a supermarket, a fast food store, a Chinese food restaurant and a bakery (and also to a hardware/DIY store, just in case). The location is not central, but there are bike lanes to reach the center, it's served by public transport, it is next to a main road (but don't worry, the glasses of the windows absorb the noise), not far from a train station and there is plenty of space for parking. I did the check-in and the check-out in the "Ibis Styles" hotel next to it (and internally connected by a corridor), which is always open. Earliest check-in (15:00) and latest check-out (12:00) times are also, in my opinion, very good.

In my room there was not a wardrobe and this might be inconvenient in case of long staying (but the room is large enough to store your luggage without "being stuck"). There is a desk which is big enough to use a computer, write something or read a book, but not enough to be a convenient working place for the whole day. I mean, it's all fine for a "budget hotel", it's just to warn you that if you want to stay there for many days you might have to adapt a bit. And, of course, all what I have written applies just to my room; perhaps, if you ask, they might have something with different characteristics.

Location is not great, but still reasonably accessible by bike or car. Bed wasn’t comfortable… would be better if the bed had a single sheet or something so the two beds didn’t come apart. Also was always too hot in the room despite it being too cold outside.

great value, clean room, easy check out and check in. great for a minimalistic stay / a bed to sleep when you're out all day anyways. directly in front of the hotel, there's a super market to buy all necessities.

reception is not in the ibis budget building but in the ibis styles building directly next door. still okay, yet at first this can be a bit confusing.
