The rooms were excellent. Loved the decor throughout the hotel. Especially the library. Breakfast was outstanding. Service was outstanding. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We needed a gluten free breakfast. Will definitely come back

That rooms have different facilities, which I only found out there and then. Luckily my room had what I wanted. A shower (not a bathtub) and a fridge. My daughter's room did not have a fridge, so we had to share it. From now on I will ask for a shower and a fridge when booking. Actually I will ask for the same room I had as I loved it so much.

This boutique hotel is a gem in Mannheim. Ideally located next to the train station, the hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet. The room was superbly decorated. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel if you stay in Mannheim.

One member of the staff was disagreeable, to say the least. I did the check-in with a professional young lady when I arrived in the middle of the afternoon. When I came back from the office in the evening, a young guy was at the reception desk. He basically accused me of having stolen the card key of the room. When he realized that it was not the case, he did not even apologize. First time in my life (and I am 50 years old) that I had this type of experience in a hotel. It was very disagreeable.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was top notch — literally steps from the train station, which made getting around super easy. And despite being so close, it was incredibly quiet inside, which was a huge bonus. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot whether you're staying short-term or longer. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel was fantastic and the stay was perfect. The hotel's design is elegant and the location is ideal. Everything was clean and organized, and the hotel gives you a warm and comfortable feeling. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Klouse and Gernet helped us a lot and were always smiling. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay next time I will choose it again without any hesitation Thank you for making our stay perfect. We enjoyed it a lot.

Great location near to monuments, bars and restaurants. On street parking was free on Sunday too. Stylish boutique hotel with a very good breakfast and lounge area. Rooms very well appointed (we were single travellers but the rooms can comfortably take 2)

Superb hotel. Probably the largest room we've ever had in any hotel, and all very stylishly decorated. We had a fridge which was very useful. There was also a kitchenette, although no obvious pans to cook with / plates / cutlery. Not a problem, as we hadn't planned cooking! Convenient for the station - about 2 mins walk. 5-10mins walk from the main shopping / leisure area. Excellent breakfast. Excellent cocktails.

Location by the station to catch the train to Heidelberg (only 17 mins) but with parking close by was perfect for us. There was no noise from the station despite it being close by. Staff were friendly and room was spacious with a comfortable sofa. Walk in shower was great.

Breakfast was pleasant but very expensive at 26.50 euros each.

Mannheim is not on everyone’s usual tourist destination, but Mannheim is known as a UNESCO City of Music and serves as a major rail transfer point, think you can get there from here. It is a mere 30 min train ride from the Frankfort Airport. For the overnight guest the Syte is ideally located, literally “a stone’s throw” (200 m) from the Mannheim central train station. Unusual for many lodgings closely situated to rail systems the surrounding quarter is pleasant, vibrant, safe to walk in and not noisy at night. The hotel is a boutique ~40 room venue that has been beautifully upgraded in an attractive historic building. In addition, unusual for a small venue besides a destination restaurant and meetings rooms there is a fitness gym and laundry for guest use. Adjacent to the restaurant is the “library” that has comfortable leather sofas and chairs. Of note, the background music was non-intrusive (You could hear yourself think) neither “elevator” or head-banger, making for a relaxing sanctuary to enjoy a glass of wine. Rooms are well-sized and should please even dimension-focused North Americans who regularly complain that European hotel rooms are too small. The bathrooms are spacious and have first-rate water pressure. Rooms are equipped with double-paned windows allowing for an excellent night’s sleep and contain ensuite controlled high performing air conditioning. There is a full-sized elevator for the stair challenged. The free Wi-fi performed flawlessly. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, provided a great referral to a nearby excellent local restaurant. Breakfast served in buffet style, rooms can be booked to include. Finally, pricing makes this choice a definite good-value. This venue best suited to adult singles and couples.

Not much on the down side, Agree with prior reviews, “one pillow” not enough, towels “a bit thin” and could do with two full sized rather than one. The hallways were a bit dark, not a serious drawback. Restaurant was closed for dinner on Monday night so I am unable to confirm its reputation as a "destination".

The design was beautiful. Standard room was a bit in the small side, but the shower more than made up for it. We had drinks and appetizers in the evening- the food was delicious and the drinks were fun.

The TV in the room was an older version of a smart TV and we couldn't get it to connect to our phone. The receptionist did his absolute best to help us but unfortunately we were unsuccessful there. Based on the appetizers from the night before, we had big hopes for breakfast, but it wasn't on the same level.

Loved the decor, and the rooms were large. Staff were so lovely and helpful, spoke English to us which we appreciated.

Everything was great, the towels were a bit thin. Also the lighting in bathroom was not enough over the sink to do makeup. Really dark and the magnifying mirror (great addition) was falling off the wall. Also too dark to use it. These are minor, don’t hesitate to book here.
