The hotel is set in an iconic building outside of the main part of the city. That makes it a great location as it avoids a lot of the hussle and bussle of a central location but is still well served by public transport. The staff here were both friendly and efficient and couldn’t have done more to make sure our stay was perfect. They were happy to answer any questions and help with any requests, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and in great order and had everything we needed, including a great coffee machine. The view was amazing too and after a long day out in the city with the children it was great to come back and relax to the view where the alps were visible on a clear day. We also tried the breakfast and were really pleased with the amount of choice on offer, with continental and cooked food available. We loved this place so much we already miss it, even though we’ve only been back home one day.

Fantastic location, both well connected to the city and the airport. Superbly friendly and helpful staff, and a extraordinary breakfast buffet for a great start into the day.

Details, really: Check-in time is at 16:00; earlier is possible, but then they charge extra, which given the unusually late check-in time feels off, and made me almost cancel my booking. The AC is a bit difficult to manage, and sadly tries out the air, rather than cooling. And on a humourous note, there's the waffle maker, which is a massively over engineered piece of equipment that doesn't make decent waffles.

Spacious modern room (with the upgrade we had); good size bathroom and shower; large comfortable bed; lots of hanging space and hooks which we always appreciate; very helpful and friendly receptionist team; close to good restaurants and cafe in the area and a laundromat; 30min walk into "old town" and a tram station is right outside; parking was not difficult (we had motorbikes) but it was over a weekend

Parking will be an issue / expensive if staying over weekdays; expensive bar so we went out to nearby bars

I had the room with the kitchenette and it was very well equipped. Little fridge, compact dishwasher , cooker top and even a microwave was available. Everything you need to cook if wanted. I had breakfast at the hotel buffet and it was outstanding! Also great location, just next to Aldi and other supermarkets and also Golds gym. Very quiet and safe area. Hotel has a little gym available which I used at my stay.

I have to say another Scandic hotel branch and the same issue with beds. Way too soft and pillows too. So sleep wasn’t the greatest. Also AC wasn’t working properly, the temperature didn’t seem to drop. Luckily weather was pretty cloudy so wasn’t suffering with the heat. I had to open my window to let the fresh air in when it was raining.

Brand new, stylishly dressed room. High spec fittings. Fridge and safe. Great bathroom. Delicious breakfast, with plenty of choice. Several fast lifts. Quiet location.

A good way out of town, but the 21 tram stops right outside.

- Implacable design. Modern furniture and high-quality toiletries. - The room was extra big with nice panoramic view to the park - Delightful breakfast. Don’t remember this big selection of fish in any other 4 star hotel. - I had my birthday during the stay, and the stuff was so nice to check me in earlier. In the room I found a greeting card with best wishes and a lovely mini-dessert 💙 Many thanks to the team! - Tram stop and grocery store are right next to hotel entrance I’ve already recommended this hotel to all of my friends and can’t wait to come back 😍

The location was amazing. The tram stops were just around the corner to old town and across the street. Easy to get to Ost Munchen station to take other trains to places like Salzburg etc. The breakfast was a good variety, fresh, they even had a juicer. Grocery stores close if you forgot something. Parking garage was great led straight up to the hotel! Not sure if it’s free because we parked there only after we checked out.

The only thing is, and I know it was a safety thing, but you could not get to other floors without having a key to that specific floor. We had 4 rooms and only 2 of our rooms were on the same floor. It was a pain to get kids from one floor to the next and had to meet adults in lobby to get to their floors. Restaurant at hotel is closed on Sundays! And in breakfast, only 1 waffle maker so had to wait like 10-15 minutes for that at breakfast they definitely need 2.

Staff were super friendly and their English was superb. Very hospitable. A lovely man from Barcelona at the reception was extremely informative and helped us a lot with stuff to do, went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome. Lovely sound proofed rooms so nice and quiet. Clean, calm, modern.

The breakfast was expensive for what it was. Minor criticism. Only had it once and then went to the cafe around the corner the next few days which was cheaper and nicer.

The rooms are clean and fresh, the beds and pillows are super comfortable, there isn't any bad smell in the room, the view was also nice especially spending my NYE there and seeing all the fireworks around. The staff were super friendly, the design of the hotel common areas and the actual rooms were very nice and tasteful. The breakfast is amazing! Bonus points for having a juicer where you can make your healthy juice in the morning.

Newly constructed / renovated hotel, supportive and always ready to help staff, nice area not to crowd but at the same time 15 minutes away from center by 21 tram, excellent breakfast

No watsapp or other massenger for contact, also no internal phone for contacting reception. For locals this is no problem, but for tourist who is in roaming it has some inconvenience. This new tendency of not cleaning the room until requested, I can't get used to this and mostly forgetting to request ending up with uncleaned room. But this is mostly my problem ;)
