I recently had the pleasure of staying at Elaya Hotel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff were attentive, courteous, and genuinely invested in ensuring my stay was perfect. The room was spotless, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail, from the plush linens to the carefully curated toiletries, made it feel luxurious. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the welcome note and complimentary refreshments. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore, despite being centrally located, the hotel felt peaceful and relaxing

Location: can't be beat. Air conditioning: working well (that's important in Regensburg if temperatures >24C) Room: relatively small; room for a desk but not for a chair to lounge in. Everything was was clean, looked like new and worked. Space to park my bike in a small yard behind the hotel I usually eat only a small breakfast and there is no option for that - you always pay the full amount which is not inexpensive. So I usually skipped breakfast and got some pastries at the bakery across the street.

AC fan was always running and even the low speed was not really low.

The staff was very nice, the location was perfect for me - right in the city centre and around the corner of the location I had to go to every day. I also liked the free coffee bar, where you could help yourself with free coffee and croissants every day. Rooms were spacious, modern and equipped with everything you need.

They only clean the rooms every 3 days, which I think is not enough. It's not about making my own bed or using towels several days. I don't need that kind of service during a business trip. But my bin for example was packed, so that I had to pile my trash next to it. Also, they took dirty cups and didn't replace them with fresh ones, nor did they refill the coffee and milk in the room, so I had to go back to the reception desk reminding them. The next time they left 8 dirty cups on my desk when they cleaned the room.... So that in my opinion was not a good enough service.

Great location, although it is near the central train station, which means it is not the safest part of town. However, it is in the city centre and it is excellent. Breakfast is nice, and the coffee machine is available all day, free of charge.

The hotel follows a sustainable policy, and rooms are cleaned every 3 days. If required, they can be cleaned every day. I asked the cleaning every day, but there was some misunderstanding. However, the staff at the reception desk were very nice and they changed towels and put out the trash.

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Having a coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Everything a guest might need had been thoughtfully provided. Our room faced the back rather than the main street, so it was very quiet — which we really appreciated. The hotel's location was also excellent, within walking distance of the main train station and all the key sights in the old town. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Regensburg.

The price escalated for the booking from the point I booked in a way I haven’t experienced before on Booking.com. I added a room but the overall final price outstripped that by some distance. We arrived on Thursday but had no room service up to leaving on the Sunday , so had to go and get new towels ourselves. That was disappointing, I thought.

The hotel was located a few minutes walk from the main railway station. The staff were all friendly and efficient. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. There were plenty cafes and restaurants nearby and the sights were all in walking distance. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many options, hot and cold.

The room was in the attic, so the ceiling at the side near the window was low. The sink plug did not work properly so let water out all the time.

Location is very convenient, walkable to old town, Regensburg Arcaden, Danube and the main station. The rooms were very modern and clean, staff was friendly, despite the central location there is no loud noises if the window is closed. AC keeps the temperature pleasant.

Depending on guests next to you it could be a bit loud, the caddy holding the shower gel and shampoo was a bit flimsy and the bed had wheels and moved a bit

I stayed with 1 year old baby. Baby bed was already in the room, when we arrived. Room was big, modern and very clean. Bathroom is huge as for hotel room :) Nice lady on the reception told everything about the hotel. I was with baby stroller. We were at the last floor. There is big elevator and enough space in the room for the stroller. Breakfast is small, but quite good. I was able to give some food from it to my baby. Lady from the kitchen even washed my baby’s teller (our own one). She was also trying to entertain baby a little. Location is close to the center with supermarkets you need. Super hotel to stay, even with a baby.
