The food was excellent, everything you could imagine available for breakfast. The bed was so comfortable & the shower perfect.

The interior is completely black, I understand why but would prefer more light. Some proper wardrobe in the rooms, it was tight as a single person two people with baggage would be a nightmare.

The pool area, was such a disappointment, there was so many guests and no where near enough sun beds , we tried to use it 3 days and had to sit on the floor ! .. guests also go and sit at the bar and leave towels on their sunbeds for hours , whilst we were still uncomfortable on the floor ... they need to add more sunbeds into the pool area , also round the bar ...

The customer service was fantastic - lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel. The rooms were small but really nicely decorated. Bathroom and shower very high spec.

The rooftop bar and pool isnt quite as idyllic as the photos suggest. Lots of noisy holiday makers - mostly Brits with fake tan and nasty nails, and not much space in the pool to share. Quite rowdy on the rooftop and club style music.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the unique and tasteful design that seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with a touch of Athenian charm. The attention to detail in the decor created a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that set the tone for the entire stay. The staff at Brown Lighthouse Athens were exceptional in their hospitality. Warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist were evident at every interaction. The check-in process was swift, and the staff took the time to provide insightful recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and cultural experiences, enhancing my overall stay. The accommodations were a true standout. My room boasted contemporary elegance, featuring stylish furnishings and a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the city. The attention to comfort was evident in the quality of the bedding and the thoughtful amenities provided, creating a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Athens. One of the hotel's crown jewels was the rooftop terrace. The panoramic views of the Acropolis and the city skyline were absolutely mesmerizing, making it an ideal spot to unwind with a drink or enjoy a meal from the hotel's rooftop restaurant. The sunset views were particularly memorable and added a magical touch to the overall experience. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction extended to its facilities. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the spa services provided a perfect opportunity for relaxation. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were commendable, creating a sense of assurance and comfort. In conclusion, my stay at Brown Lighthouse Athens was a truly memorable experience. The combination of outstanding service, stylish accommodations, and panoramic views made it a standout choice for anyone seeking a unique and enriching stay in the heart of Athens.

The location of Brown Lighthouse Athens, touted as a selling point, turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. While it's true that the hotel is conveniently situated, offering easy access to some local attractions, the immediate surroundings lacked the vibrant charm one might associate with Athens. The neighborhood felt a bit generic, with limited local flavor, and the absence of noteworthy nearby dining options left me wanting more in terms of exploring the local culinary scene.

Well, like what the other travellers reviewed, the breakfast buffet was excellent, exceptional. Usually I won't spend more than 1 hour for breakfast especially when I am travelling but I did spend 1.5 h for every breakfast with my mom. The breakfast had so many choices, french juices , greek yogurt with 10 plus ingredients you wanna mix up with, the french style bread based breakfast , the American eggs and bacon style, and tons of grilled vegetables cooked in a unique way, oh man, I can't even tell how great the breakfast it was. If you wanna a superb breakfast in a fancy dining hall with the fountain view in front of you, go for it. FYI, the customer service of the front was just extremely superb. When I booked the hotel room i noted it was for me and my mom , and I chose the option with two beds. When i checked in the lady upgraded us to a better room with the fountain view, it was nice. However , when we entered the room, it was only one bed. I immediately headed to the front and told them the issue, and they told me a big group was coming and they couldn’t help me, but I insisted again. They talked for a while and then arranged us to a family style room, a small adult bed and a king size bed, without the previous view. I still don't know which room had a better price value but I am satisfied with the quick fix.

LIke the most hotels in Greece, the shower room design is just confusing. Why not building a normal shower room like the rest of the world? There was a shower and that's all..... Based on my experience , it is always like this , regardless of the stars of the hotels. But I have to say, it is not handy for tall people like me. I used to work in Athens in the real estate industry and I saw tons of properties in Athens, I just don't know why the design is like this. haha.

A special thanks to Christos, the receptionist for treating us so good and for being an amazing person. He made sure we had all we needed, and we loved his energy. We had an amazing time at Skylark! Delicious food, comfortable and clean rooms, nice rooftop and amazing staff! Everyone was so kind and the service was great.

We were told the area outside the hotel wasnt safe at night, but that is how it is in most capitals, so it didnt bother us and we didnt feel unsafe at all. Also, maybe a coffee machine in the lobby for people who check out early/at night. Nothing fancy, just something to start the trip while you wait for your taxi.

Good hotel overall. Incredible breakfast , more than you can expect. Nice and helpful staff . Nice roof top area & pool, even if if you come in the afternoon there are no free sun-beds.

The room is very small and dark. The neighborhood is a bit strange , a lot of homeless people and drugged people around the corner; we knew after booking this hotel that that neighborhood is one of most dangerous in Athens, even if it is ver well located , next to the center. We never had problems during our stay , but for exemple after dinner we always took taxi back to the hotel, we didn t felt safe to walk by night , on the streets, around the hotel.

we arrived a little earlier than booking in time but were dealt with efficiently .the decor of the hotel was appealing along with the room .Excellent shower and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and very attentative and can converse very well. Breakfast was EXCELLENT the choice being over awing (if thats a saying?) Location good right next door to the metro and tour buses

a bit of moderation on the prices in the bar would maybe have a better stop for people to socialise with a drink (Happy hours?) Balcony can do with a clean and a little TLC television channels can vary from just news A bit noisy from fountain and traffic ,but expect that from a central located hotel

In the perfect location, right beside the tour buses and the underground stations. We were also opposite the Hondos center, perfect for shopping. The room we stayed in wasn’t the biggest but the bed was super comfy and the air con was a life saver. The roof top bar and pool were great and the food was tasty. Could see the acropolis from the roof and the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break.

There was a delay with check in but nothing major.
